    I had been using Uber Eats food delivery regularly, at least once per week. I had an Uber Eats Pass monthly subscription for delivery discounts. The registration for the Eats Pass is all through the app, including my credit card payment info. At some point the app started getting glitchy regarding my credit card info. For unrelated reasons I had decided to cancel my monthly Uber Eats Pass. The only way to cancel that monthly membership was through the payment tab in the app. The app was saying there was a problem with my credit card info (no other problems using my credit card anywhere else everyday of the week 24/7). Called my credit card company and they said they hadn’t seen any issues and hadn’t rejected any payment requests. I wasn’t able to cancel my Uber Eats Pass subscription because of the glitch with the payment method but there was nothing wrong with my credit card info and the app kept saying there was a problem. I deleted and re-entered the credit card info many times. I reached out to Uber Eats customer service. What. A. Joke. They really don’t have a customer service department. You can’t talk to anyone on the phone, only by email. I am not sure they are able to understand the written word. My problem with the app didn’t make sense to me so it wasn’t easy to describe - apparently - because instead of fixing whatever the glitch was in the app... or even taking responsibility for the glitch, Uber Eats started counseling me on credit issues and what might happen if I had insufficient funds. As if. I bet I have better credit and more available credit on that card than anyone who is in that “customer service” department. I told them that the credit card works and that we know it works just fine because that is how my monthly Uber Eats Pass membership fees were being paid to them. again... i question their grasp of the English language or their ability to offer any type of actual service to customers. I warn anyone using Uber Eats to know that they don’t even care enough to talk to you on the phone. They only use email. It takes a while to respond. Response time isn’t by the hour but is measured in days. They counseled me on issues with my credit and with my credit card. They had me uninstall and re-install the app. Nothing worked. They kept saying my credit card was the problem, saying my credit card company was rejecting the card. They counseled me on not having enough available credit. When I called my credit card company (CHASE BANK) they saw no issues, had no rejections on their end. No other business was having issues with my credit card. I had thousands of dollars of available credit on the card and yet Uber Eats Customer Service kept talking to me about bad credit and credit card charges bouncing. I told them my credit and credit card were doing great and that - in fact - that Uber Eats wasn’t having any issues getting paid for all of the food deliveries and for that monthly Uber Eats Pass subscription. The emails with Customer Service went on for weeks... days would lapse without getting the next response from them. Finally I told Uber Eats Customer Service that per my original email to them, I was unable to cancel my monthly Uber Eats Pass membership because the On/Off membership status on the app was linkined to my payment method which the app was being glitchy about so I wasn’t able to cancel my membership because of the app issues. I asked them to please cancel my Uber Eats Pass since I had no way to cancel it on my end. They finally cancelled my Uber Eats Pass on their end. And in the process they had to refund me the $10.00 monthly fee because that credit card they were counseling me about bad credit on had already re-upped my monthly membership fee. They were telling me my credit card company was rejecting the card. They were talking to me about insufficient funds and sent me info on bad credit issues and how to fix bad credit. They told me to use a different payment method. They did everything but take responsibility for the glitch in their app. Meanwhile all of my credit card transactions for Uber Eats and for every other place I used my card were going through. Uber Eats Customer Service is an oxymoron. There is no Customer Service, no service to the customer in any way. You or I could do that job from our bed using our phone and we would probably provide a higher level of service. I deleted the app. I downloaded about 5 or 6 other delivery apps for food delivery services in my area. No problems. Food ordered. Food paid for. Food delivered. This app might have been updated since my last Uber Eats order was placed in February. I don’t care. The app is glitchy. Customer Service via email is a joke. They need to have Customer Service phone service because we could have gotten this talked through in one phone call rather a month of them jacking me around by email telling me I had credit issues or insufficient funds. I hate Uber Eats so much. Such a joke. Horrible service. Incompetence at every level. No acceptance of responsibility for their issues with their flawed app. Let me repeat that: absolutely no responsibility taken on their part for the problems with the app. They just kept telling me that my credit and my credit card were the problems. They kept saying that up until the day they had to refund my credit card for the monthly Uber Eats Pass membership fee. They issued the credit with no apology, taking no responsibility. They said nothing, just send info on the refund they issued from the credit card their app was glitchy with and that they kept telling me had bad credit and was being rejected by my credit card company. I hate Uber Eats. Their customer service is a joke. They are rude. They aren’t helpful. Insufficient customer service access. Rude interactions. Slow and incompetent customer service.

    After waiting two hours to receive food that I had ordered, Uber Eats kept stringing me along claiming the ETA for my food was just 10 minutes away. I called Chipotle (where I ordered food) and they said that no one had ever cane to pick up my order. Chipotle ended up giving me free food to supplement Uber Eat’s mistake. It’s also quite impossible to get a hold of anyone in customer service for a refund. I’m not even being a Karen because I have worked in the food service industry, but this was ridiculous.

    Always late. Always. I’m sure this works great if you’re in the center of city but not in the burbs. There are never any drivers late. I order and it takes 100-120 minutes to get to me. Half the time you can’t even get them to acknowledge their mistake. Please just stop offering service where you can’t actually get drivers to come.

    I’m always missing something and nothing is ever done about it! I’m a platinum member through uber and so i thought i had confidence using it to get food, but 6/10 times I’m missing something or this time i didn’t even receive my meal! I was supposed to get a pizza with wings for $30+ which is over priced anyways, but i never got it. Then got refunded $26 ?? Are you kidding me? I’m done using Uber’s services. Here i come Lyft!

    The driver left our order at the wrong house so we had to go down the street & to find the house and go on their porch & grab our food. The number on the receipt was also a fake number ie. 8015555555 also, there’s no customer service number you can call on the app. We submitted a claim on the app as well to let them know that we didn’t receive the order and didn’t hear back from them. Save your money on the delivery fee & order off door dash. Never had any problems with them. Plus they charge 2.99 which is cheaper than Uber eats.

I’m not understanding how it clearly comes up on the receipts what people want and they still don’t make the order right or you don’t get nothing you ordered and they give you what they want! I think I’m just gonna stop ordering with Uber eats all together!!!!!

    I understand things happen but my order is wrong so often Uber has started blaming me stating “this issue shouldn’t happen frequently.” It’s makes no sense for me to have to pay for missing or incorrect items.     Food took over an hour to deliver. Driver was sitting at wrong address. Didn’t communicate. Didn’t answer phone after we were disconnected. Phone kept ringing. Delivered the wrong order to me. Food was extremely cold once she discovered she handed off the wrong food. Unable to locate my receipt for the order or a contact number to file a complaint. Worse service I ever had!!!! Won’t be using Uber again!!

    Today, I was trying to order from Chipotle. I really didn't want to use Uber Eats due to terrible customer service and orders being cancelled, but it was what Chipotle was using. It was placed around 9:00 pm, which is within their hours of operation. Our driver was supposed to arrive at 10:00 pm, but then we got a message he was running late and it would arrive at 10:30 pm. The Chipotle I ordered from was about a 8 minute drive from my house. All of a sudden, my order was cancelled, leaving us stranded for food. Due to the fact 2 of my family members are at higher risk for the coronavirus, we decided to order food. And unlike normal times, we can't go out to Giant to go get some food. I contacted customer service, they just said "I understand" and "I am sorry." The driver should NOT get paid for an incomplete service, and there should be a consequence when they just decide not to complete the service. Not only did he still get paid by Uber, but Uber had the nerve to ask us to tip him. He saw that there was no tip, so he didn't want to deliver our food, even though we tip them afterwards. This is OUTRAGEOUS!!! Now after dealing with this, I am forced to eat one box of Mac N Cheese with a family of 4. I'm still starving and there is no compensation. Please, someone contact me to have this resolved. This NEEDS to stop happening, and I'm sure I'm not the only one with this experience

    This is now the second time I receive an email promotion that they don’t intend to honor. I wrote the first time off as Bad customer service but I responded to an email promotion I received that if I placed an order by a certain date I would get a promo code for 50% off a future order. Of course I read the fine print to ensure that I met the requirements and placed my order. When I didn’t get my promo code I reached out to customer service he said that promotion did not exist even after I sent them a copy of the email I got and a screenshot of the promotion in the app itself but I took since this has happened before and they still would not honor and kept saying it did not exist. They should have honored it since it was their false advertisement but again horrible customer service and unethical practices to get you to spend many other app. Sure I didn’t necessarily lose any money persay but it’s not right to be promised something and not receive it.

    Not sure what the issue is but I believe they “accept” your order before locating a delivery driver and then fish for a driver for an hour or so and if they cannot find one they cancel on you. At that point you are an hour in and hungry. Had four orders cancelled in NYC Sunday evening and many here in Austin. Clearly they fake availability in an effort to create their network with no regard to customer experience. Uber eats treats it’s employees and customers like dog crap just like uber. Good luck...

    Yesterday I ordered four sandwiches (two chicken sandwiches and two burgers) and sides from Lucy's to celebrate by nephew's 1st birthday with my fiance, my sister and her husband. We waited approximately an hour from order time for the much anticipated food to arrive. When the food did arrive, two of the sandwiches were missing. We reached out to the driver and he said he delivered what he was provided by the restaurant and to contact ubereats for additional support. Upon contacting and reporting the two missing items, we were refunded for the two missing sandwiches. However, given this was 50% of our meal, two people had to REORDER and wait for additional food to arrive for another hour. We had to pay additional service, delivery fees, and tip, with a different delivery service. The original food was cold and soggy given sandwiches and fries don't keep by the time the new food was delivered (as we politely waited for everyone at the birthday celebration to have food before eating). No one enjoyed the food given the lengthy wait, and the majority of it was tossed as the buns were soggy and fries had turned to a wet mush. We wouldn't have ordered at all had we known that we would only receive 50% of our meal. I understand and appreciate refunding the food that did not arrive; however, as a result of only 50% of the food arriving, the remainder of the meal was ruined. I am overall very disappointed in the experience and am not satisfied with paying for two soggy burgers and fries. We clearly would never have spent a dime on ubereats if we knew this would be the experience. Update: I have had to provide the details of my issues to customer service over four times now. Each time I am told they already resolved the issue or that I need to reprovide details. No one has been able to resolve it and it seems like maybe the responses are automated and not even real customer service reps as no one acknowledges any of the details of my case. I am furious.

    It won’t let me checkout. It asks me if I want to donate $2. Since I was trying to order from a chain, I decided not to, but it won’t let you pay unless you do that. Just add it to the fees if it’s mandatory!

    I’m not sure why I keep putting myself thru this with Uber Eats but I am done now. Yet again, they accept an order without having any drivers available, and now I’m sitting here for over 90 minutes with no food. And if you try to cancel they charge you for the food because the restaurant already made it. At least with Postmates it tells you when there are no drivers nearby for a given restaurant. So now I will make something here and eat it and my cold steak salad will probably get here at 10 PM.

Driver very pleasant n nice, but delayed somewhat n when I kept telling him to call me so I can help he didn’t. He was supposed to deliver to door, but I had to run out n get.

    It took me 20 minutes to change the address, which Uber eats said they couldn’t do and Famous Dave’s bbq said that Uber eats had to do. I finally was able to contact the driver (Abee), who was kind and courteous, and said he was going to finish the delivery he was on and be there directly.

    Never will I use this app again they don’t update their restaurants availability properly. I placed an order at a restaurant they had say we’re still accepting orders, had my card charged and come to find out the restaurant hasn’t been taking Uber orders for TWO WEEKS (I called them to make sure they got my order and that’s how I found out) then they charged my account and told me they didn’t “charge my card” after i sent proof from bank online they told me “it’ll take several days to possible get your money back”. They don’t make the experience any better don’t like them and will refuse to use them ever again and will let others know

    Service to describe their customer interactions would be generous considering what I have experience. It’s a hassle and they just send trite run of the mill responses to issues that should not be. Especially during this time of COVID they should be much more accommodating and attentive.

    Signed up for Ubereats and the eatspass and within the first month, three of my four orders were canceled by the restaurants. Of the three, one restaurant was unable to collect payment from Uber (even though I paid on the app) and the two other restaurants weren’t even signed up with Ubereats! I don’t understand why restaurants that don’t subscribe to Ubereats are even listed on the app and why I was even allowed to order from them in the first place. It was very inconvenient and frustrating to have dinner plans canceled like that for the family. Customer service was unable to explain why these issues came up. I lost three promo codes I had used on the order and there was no sympathy or help from them. Very disappointed.

    I have had multiple issues with my food either being incorrect, never getting picked up, or (a personal favorite) the entirely wrong thing. The customer service team doesn’t even look at the issue and just states the person before them got it right. My current issue is I ordered a chicken finger platter. The platter is supposed to come with fries, but Uber insist I did not pay for the fries because I didn’t ask for them in my special notes. Additionally, there are two separate items on the menu one for just chicken fingers and one for the chicken finger platter. They fail to see any difference between the two. My only regret is that I cannot give a rating lower than one star.

    Me pregunto: 1. los diseñadores del servicio al cliente de Uber Eat, han tratado de resolver algún problema con su orden? 2. Habrán resuelto el problema en forma intuitiva y simple? O hicieron como yo: - Varios intentos, - Básicamente siempre terminas en un listado de múltiples preguntas frecuentes, - Y al final nada se resuelve y te llega un mail disculpándose y pidiendo que revises tu pedido antes de ponerlo? Mi experiencia ha sido muy mala. Cada vez que pueda usar otra alternativa a Uber Eats, lo haré. Ps: La cereza del pastel.... para enviar este mensaje, me piden un nickname. Llevo 4 y todos han sido tomados por lo que voy al quinto intento!!!

    This has actually happened twice now. I love the option to deliver & mistakes are fine but they wouldn’t refund me immediately. Have to wait 3-5 business days. I’ll be pretty hungry by then. I told them I was pretty hungry and would just like it reordered, they said no, that it’s against guidelines and I’d have to pay again. That’s a $40 coffee & sandwich. No can do

    Absolutely the worst customer service around. There phone lines are down, there is no chatting service available to speak with a representative. I attempted to cancel my order after waiting 2 hours for it, and I can’t even find the button to do that. I feel trapped and the food, if it even arrives, is most likely cold. You’re better off ordering through GrubHub or Doordash.

    My Uber driver called and said the address is missing on the account so he could not deliver the order. Logging in - only my area name is displayed on the account, address nowhere to be found, added or edited. Uber (not Uber eats) customer support guy calls and to inform that driver don’t have the address. Trying to explain the situation with address missing - guy is not letting to insert a word or ask a question and keep speaking over me. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! Customer service number- “unable to receive calls at the moment, use customer support online!” The worst online ordering experience I had, but the credit card is charged. In my account - UNABLE to remove any of my credit cards added to account. Looking forward to close my account and remove my payment information. So we are successfully using the competitors app now.

    Uber is great, and in this case I’m talking about the riding service, always relatively fast and good experience but.. - right now is very expensive, like a few months ago Uber was at least 10% cheaper than today, and with corona virus they have been having a lucrative season without any doubt. - the costumer service is really bad, it impossible get in line with the Uber app costumer service to ask questions or make recommendations or report something. - with the Uber pool suspension they are not accepting Benefits cards for transportation that many essential workers (or people with low income) could use, think of this, an essential worker that receive a low income depend of a benefit transportation card to save money, before it could use Uber pool and not being exposed to COVID, but right now it has to use public transportation and be extremely exposed to COVID-19 to be able to attend a person with fragile heath. That does not make any sense. At the same time regular Uber is extremely more expensive that it was 1 month ago. I’m not saying that they should have pool again, security first !, but I tried several times to make a recommendation of if they could accept benefit transportation cards as payment for regular ubers but they never answer emails and they don’t have a public costumer service phone number, witch means that we riders have no voice.
