  • Takes your money...

    By Harrison09
App did work, but I signed up for the 2 week free trial. Literally checked my credit card a little later and they charged me $2. Cancelled.
  • Thank heavens!

    By Cubfan911
We have this on our home phone and it's great! A welcome relief from all the calls! And now, when I'm dealing with a LOT of robo calls lately, this is really timely! Love that the calls are blocked and I have privacy again! Sooo tired of those calls at all hours of the day and night. Using it also and does a good job of identifying robocalls.
  • It started great.

    By Bouresh
This was great in the first year. I was happily paying the $20 a year to get rid of these leeches but now it is not doing anything anymore. I get calls from robocallers left and right and some of them resemble the numbers in my own contact list. I wonder if Nomorobo is really working to stop these calls!!! I just discontinued my service.
  • Just doesn’t work

    By Maryannp
Downloaded app, followed set up instructions- shows active but hardly any calls blocked, including many repeat offenders. Will have to try something else.
  • I don’t get why all the bad reviews

    By Braderunner
Since installing this app, I haven’t had one spam call get thru. They don’t even make my phone ring. There is a setting for that. Not sure if some are missing that, or what.
  • Nomorobo seems to be abandonware.

    By Vestpocket
Keeps refusing to update the blacklist and reports an error. Support staff recommending rebooting the phone and completely uninstalling and reinstalling the app. That’s fine, except you have to do this multiple times per month to keep the app working! Four months have gone by and not a single update in an attempt to fix this feature.
  • Works for me

    By wvfgyuiijj
I like the way it’s unobtrusive and has reduced the number of robocalls significantly.
  • Pretty darn good

    By Bigbro6
Don't know where all the one star reviews are coming from. This app has successfully blocked about 95% of the non-local numbers. Could use some Improvement on the local number spoofing, but then again it is advertised to stop Robo calls and spam calls, which it is doing very well. I gladly paid $20 for my annual subscription, and hope that my support will lead to eventual improvements to crack down on the number spoofing too. Minus one star for the call spoofing aspect, other than that great job guys!
  • Jan 2019. Doesn’t work on iPhone XS. Can’t add call blocking in settings

    By clymusa
When you go into call blocking settings. Nomorobo Doesn’t show up
  • Works as described..... see below.

    By Two good
However, since these types of calls are illegal to cell phones I wonder why this is continuously happening. Is there a technical way to forward all these calls to our Elected Congress Members? Or to defeat the Robo calls using tools like this one, so the calls are unrewarding for the originator? UGH....
  • Does not work

    By Brad954
I’ve been paying the monthly subscription for this app for over a year but I will be canceling. Lately it has been doing nothing to stop calls. I constantly receive robalcalls that it allows through and doesn’t flag. In many cases when I google the number there will even be a link to the Nomorobo website confirming robocall with a similar recorded transcript. I open the app on a regular basis to ensure it updates since background updates don’t work. I would give zero stars if I could
  • No Thanks!

    By thepixelwrangler
I don’t know which is worse, being subjected to spam calls every week we’re having to pay someone to keep that from happening. What’s wrong with this country where those are our only two choices? I’m not even sure these people can keep that from happening but the idea of a subscription for that is onerous to me.
  • No more unwanted calls

    By Spoddler
Ever since I enabled this app and told it to send unwanted callers to voicemail, I very rarely get an unwanted call.
  • Annoyed

    By CMFee
I saw someone talking about this app and decided to try it. I get so many robo calls and I have been trying everything. At first it was working fine. But I am still getting the same number calls that were supposedly “blocked” by this app. I keep reporting it, but you have to keep updating the app in order for them to catch the call, if it’s not updated then you still get the call. I think it’s ridiculous that you have to keep updating and reporting the number for them to block it, but then it’s not blocked. Useless app. Don’t waste your time, space on your phone, or money (after the two week trial). It’s definitely not worth it.
  • Still letting Call’s through

    By Nealhud
For the calls Nomorobo blocks, I have no way of knowing without searching the call history. What I DO know is robo calls are still getting through. About 30% will not show any indication that it is a robo call. The rest will at least have the Nomorobo indicator that it is a robo call, but it still rings and is a distraction. I prefer to have them blocked and not disturb me, but some calls still get through.
  • Doesn’t work anymore ( as of December 2018 )

    By ChristopherMN12
As of December 2018 this app no longer functions on my totally up-to-date iPhone XS. The extension won’t enable ( generic error message ). I’ve taken all the steps listed on the support page, many times, to no avail. I opened a trouble ticket with no response. I still have months left on my annual subscription but I’ll have to take the loss. I moved to other apps that work ( Hiya and RoboKiller ). It’s a shame, this app was a pioneer on iOS when it first came out. I hope the company can turn things around because we will only need more technology like this as telemarketers and scammers work hard to ruin yet another common good.
  • Pummeled by Spam calls and this was little help

    By Authentic Ted
I get about a dozen calls a week and Robocall catches about two of them. Can’t believe I paid for a year. What a waste.
  • Shady

    By nickatty
They hit me with the one/first month fee of $1.99, fine. But in same iTunes bill, hit with a $19.99 annual bill. The service missed so many calls I was going to cancel. I’m going to speak w my CC company to block the scammy early $19.99 annual fee. Look for other companies that block invalid calls better and let valid calls through and don’t play games w your billing.
  • Waste of money

    By bobvilla1183
I have no idea how this company stays in business. Their product simply doesn’t work. I tried it for several months and I received more spam calls than ever. Anyone giving a good review obviously gets the app free or works for the company.
  • App hardly works and won’t let me manage my subscription to turn off being charged. Urgh

    By G Helgeson
    Don’t bother with this app.
  • Hiya works this doesn’t

    By Skeechan99
Tried Nomorobo and it seemed to work for the first month then it was like it wasn’t installed at all with tons of spam calls getting through despite being set up correctly and it is odd because I also have nomorobo for my business landline and it works very well. It is just this iOS implementation that is junk I guess. Abandoned my subscription and switched to hiya and like magic, the incoming spam calls are getting blocked.
  • Garbage Application

    By kevinchewy
Didn't block a single robo call.
  • Not effective, no family plan, no humans

    By ReesethePriest
I was very disappointed with the app. Aside from the fact that there is not a family plan available the app was not particularly effective and filtering calls. Not impressed. I tried to find a phone number to call tech-support but could not locate one. I canceled my subscription during the trial phase.
  • Used to be great

    By Dethedrus
Now I get the spam calls almost every single time AND still see them marked as a robocall in my call log and VM (as applicable). Delightfully worthless now.
  • Not working

    By 987000243555688
303 309 0203 from Colorado is still trying to sell kids over the phone and they won’t stop so don’t pay for this.

    By twparent
I installed the app Saturday, no calls all weekend. It’s now 9:52 AM Monday. I have already received three robocalls this morning. Would rate a negative star if possible.
  • Useless

    By bagpiper
Source of my Robo Calls ? hmmm
  • Waste of $$$

    By Toiler
The app itself works fine on my iPhone, it just doesn't do what it's supposed to do. When I first installed, it actually worked pretty well. Back then (over a year ago) I would say more than 2/3 of the spam calls were getting routed to voicemail. Nowadays I'm lucky if it catches one in 10. Come to think of it, I can't remember the last time it actually caught one. I manually report number after number after number, but it doesn't seem to help. What's the point of paying money when I'm doing all the reporting and it never catches any?
  • Not what it’s cracked up to be

    By Manfromluziane
Within 48 hours of installing, I was deluged with spoofers and robocalls and could not get this off my device soon enough. Now it has settled down again I suggest going for another app.
  • Pretty Good Robocall Blocker

    By Chazzzor
The Nomorobo app has to be set up in your settings to work. It’s easy and they give you the directions. It works pretty well for me - It has almost entirely eliminated all the robocalls and spam and scammers that used to call my cell phone every day. The couple that got through I just manually blocked. It is well worth the $2 a month they charge! It doesn’t affect my voice mail or normal calls and all my contacts are automatically “white listed” as safe. I use nomorobo on my home phone and that works pretty well too. I cannot understand so many negative reviews unless the reviewers either did not complete the setup or they are telemarketers who don’t like being blocked.
  • Draining my battery

    By Self 2.0
This app has been working fairly well, but all of a sudden it’s draining about 40% of my battery overnight.
  • Grrr..

    By Robinstl68
This app barely worked right. Seemed it had some auth problem and kept saying reinstall it so it will work right. Ok, reinstalled then it would not work at all and would not restore my access so I cancelled it since its pretty much worthless if it won’t work.
  • Waste of money

    By mji2018
I would like makers of Nomorobo to provide a report that shows how many calls they blocked and sent directly to my voicemail. I ah e had the app for several months and exactly ONE call has been blocked. The rest of the spam calls just coming in. Only after I answer them and report them do they show up as robo calls. In short, useless and a waste of my money!
  • No Option to Cancel Subscription

    By hanaxela
I (albeit stupidly) signed up for a 1 yr prepaid subscription to Nomorobo because they supposedly had a great service - better than Hiya. Well, It worked for a very short time and now I get calls with no notification it’s a scam/telemarketer nor does it show up in their database. I do a search on the internet for the numbers that all me and they are know scam/telemarketer numbers. SMH STAY AWAY!! If you have ATT, they have a free service that does a batter job than Nomorobo. I just received notification that I missed a telemarketer call.
  • Worth the subscription, but room to improve.

    By Eric Montgomery
It’s taken my BAD robocall problem to nearly nothing. Now only 1 in 10 get through and those are typically filtered very quickly. Would love the option to send blocked or unknown callers to voicemail as they are always marketing calls.
  • 1 out of 20 is labeled correctly

    By Susieko
I use this home. Works fairly well. If I got this for free for my cell, I may continue to report new numbers but I don’t know why I’m paying to do all of the reporting. Kinda backwards, I’m cancelling
  • Absolutely Worthless

    By Happy-Writer
The title tells the tale ... an absolute, total waste of funds. It just simply does not work.
  • Does not work

    By Tetsuhara
I have been using Hiya but after I read reviews about this app I thought I would try it out. It doesn’t work. It doesn’t provide you with that kind of information that you need. It lets all kinds of calls go through. Don’t waste your money.
  • Jury is out

    By wilbcol
I have been using this app for a couple of weeks now and I add more numbers that get through to the database than the app blocks. I’m giving it one more week then dropping the subscription if the trend continues.
  • Don’t bother

    By MelinaMercedes
Does nothing a free app won’t do. It’s pretty disappointing.
  • Could be better

    By Rodbr541
I’ve had this for 2 weeks. The amount of calls have decreased but I still get one every other day or so I was hoping for better. The app had decent reviews on Apple news. But I believe was over rated for advertising. Also I manually refresh daily I paid for a year I’ll not renew
  • Not good

    By mhrose727
It’s that simple. Only has blocked one number the rest get thru so the app will ask you to input the number to block. But you can do that yourself in your call Setting total waste Of money
  • Horrible! I get more calls now than before!!

    By 2011ATXUSER
This is the biggest waste of money!! Do not use their service. I paid 20 bucks for the year and I swear I get my calls now than I did before. Such a waste of time and money! phone providers now have the same service for free in addition to just blocking collars. Take out the extra step of having to go to the Robo app and mark them.
  • Mo&MoRobo

    By nme agent
Worked great the first week. Then started getting 4 or more a day again. Good thing the free trial is 2 weeks! Bye.
  • Unhappy

    By rmfrick1
This subscription claims to block robo calls. However, I still receive just as money. I want a refund for my subscription, but I am unable to recover my money. Very unhappy.
  • Ripoff!

    By frugrat
Charged $20 for 2week trial and no refund from Apple. Tried to use and it blocked my making calls—terrible.
  • Wouldn’t work

    By Boomer123456789
App would never allow me to complete installation. Never found it in Settings. Gave up after three tries and cancelled free trial.
  • Doesn’t block 90%

    By xTamTamx
Simple as that. Blocked roughly 1 out of every 10 calls. Contacted company for a refund, they told me to contact Apple. Apple told me there was nothing they could do. $20 wasted. Avoid.
  • Does its job for the most part

    By Koala sez
I’ve had this app over a year and it’s done a great job, however there have been a few times when an unrecognized number comes through and I google it only to learn Nomorobo already listed it the day before, otherwise it would have been 5 stars. My app automatically updates so I don’t know what the issue is. One thing I wish is that I didn’t even see a robo or suspicious call come through at all.
