  • Does not block “No Caller Id “

    By Vzw customer
Does not block “No Caller Id “ We need an option for that, robocallers are getting more annoying
  • Good App!

    By HialeahQueNice
So far my robotcalls have been reduce to once a week or less. Like the simplicity of the app and the ability to report calls that get through. Thank you!
  • Nomorobo no more

    By pomdahl
I had no problems with this app until this morning (Dec 9, 2018). All of a sudden I receive an error enabling extension message. I deleted the app then rebooted the phone. Reinstalled the app and still cannot enable the app. Deleted the app for good. Will not bother using Nomorobo any more. Such a shame though, but when I saw it had 2 stars, something radically went wrong. Tried using the app again since then, and while it did work it acted up again in March 2019. So I again delved the app then reinstalled it and worked for one day then acted up. That was the last straw. I deleted the app PERMANENTLY.
  • Charged me

    By Mopac85
Company charged me $1.99 even after I cancelled it. 2 week trial and I cancelled in week one.
  • Waste of money. 💸

    By RiggsRadio
Had this for two weeks. Constantly running in the background as they say. Got MORE solicitation calls than ever before. So if you love getting telemarketing calls, this app is a great way to boost them. Moving on. Next.
  • Recent update broke blacklist updating

    By ProfChips
Most recent update broke updating the blacklist. Rebooting, etc and manually trying to update does not work.
  • Wasted money.

    By imflyboy
I have had Nomorobo for 3 months now and it is next to useless. I will discontinue my subscription now. The calls still come in at 5-6 per day. Many are spoofed numbers but some are legit. If I place a number in the list, it will show it as a robocaller but the number isn’t blocked. I had high hopes but this service is useless. I need to find out what service Xfinity uses. My landline gets several robocall calls a day but they are rarely allowed through. The phone rings once to indicate a call was blocked.
  • Not worth it!

    By --cosmovixen--
I know it's only 1.99 but this app worked great for the 1st 2 weeks then I began receiving the same if not more robo calls and texts then I did before. I cancelled my subscription today...btw, I just received another robo call as I was writing this review...smdh😡! Keep your money in your pocket!
  • Effectiveness dropped off

    By CostaNew
The screening effectiveness of this app has dropped off materially in the past 6 months. Capture rate used to be very high now many robocalls get through and are noted as robocalls only a day or two after they have already rung my phone.
  • Doesn’t work for me

    By _soda
I was lucky to inherit a previously enjoyed phone number with T-Mobile. The spam calls are relentless and sadly they still get to me even with this app installed. Fail.
  • Not as good as it once was!

    By dog gone lost!
Sadly, the original gold standard for robo call blockers has become tarnished. It no longer seems to be auto updating or refreshing in the background, and not catching calls or identifying robocallers as much as it used to. Local calls seem to get through all the time now, even if they are different prefix or exchanges. Similarly I have seen an uptick in out of state robo calls getting thru since the auto update seemed to stop.
  • Excellent job

    By Nature Lover 111
Bogus telemarking calls come in and Nomorobo intercepts them every time. Valid calls come in and are let through as normal. This is one of the best apps I own!
  • Doesn’t work

    By Bamsesca
This app doesn’t work in the slightest on Verizon iPhones
  • Blocking not as good as claimed

    By Koala sez
I’ve had this app for a couple of years and in the beginning it was still building its database. After a while it was capturing most calls but for the past nine months or so calls are coming through that are not blocked, nor do they show “blocked” on my missed call list. You have the app ‘look up’ the number and the app says it’s a robocall and yet the missed call STILL does not reflect that. I don’t want to see ANY spam call come through. I’ll be looking for a different app and removing this one when my subscription ends.
  • Worked great then not

    By TamTamawsnap
During my free trial this app was spot on. Waited a month or two & signed up for monthly plan. Hasn’t caught a single robocall since & I average 2-3 a day. I do have Verizon which might be the problem as I just read in 1st review here. Canceling.
  • Works great!

    By Ruger1234
I don’t understand all the low reviews. Works just like it’s supposed to!
  • Unsure

    By FITZ121
Not sure this does any better than me just Blocking on my iPhone. It keeps letting calls through. I set up properly on my iPhone settings. I’ve received calls from the same robo caller twice now with no notification and no blocking. ‭+1 (605) 205-1393‬ is a robo caller and scammer but isn’t being blocked. I’ve reported it more than once! Unsure this service is worth it?!!
  • Joke

    By Breadman391
    What a joke....get a life.
  • Useless

    By HDRider56
You only have two setting choices. Sending robo calls to voicemail or label the incoming call as robo. The problem is, it only flags about 25% of incoming spam/robo calls. Save your money!
  • Not working on Verizon with iPhone

    By SmartAppUser0214
Someone check up on Verizon tech and practices, please. I used this app on AT&T with an iPhone 6 for over a year. Worked GREAT. My phone broke and in replacing it, I BEGRUDGINGLY switched to Verizon to share a plan with my mother. It’s not working on Verizon. The “test” robocall you call request/initiate gets flagged as a robocall by Nomorobo, but no real calls do. PLUS, and this is the bad part, the number of robocalls I have received has gone up astronomically since switching to Verizon (and before I ever installed the Nomorobo app on new phone). Mom’s on Verizon have always been 4-5x mine. Not Nomorobo’s fault. But the combo here makes me wonder if I am being steered to subscribe to Verizon’s robocall/spam app. (I’m NOT giving anyone my entire contact list to block robocalls).
  • App is Broken

    By HelmholtzW
Love the concept but I’m constantly getting an error message and the app won’t reliably work
  • Hasn’t done ANYTHING

    By Roberto 999
Have had this app for over about 10 days, did all the set up and activation required, and it has not blocked a single call. Even the test call it sent me still rang through to my phone despite my choice to block the call and send to voicemail. Completely useless!
  • I think these apps are a scam

    By BobcatALR
I don’t know if Nomorobo works or not, since it gives no statistics. I still get a bunch of robocalls - mostly spoofed numbers. But, hey! Since they’re getting through anyway, I’m just as capable of blocking them on the phone as some app that charges me monthly is...
  • Has become useless

    By your friendly neighborhood bob
This app used to be good, but lately it only identifies about 1/10 spam calls I get as “robocalls.” It’s not worth having anymore so I cancelled the subscription. Look elsewhere if you need a call blocking app.
  • Just canceled

    By skshimer
    Not blocking anything.
  • Terrible

By Don't waste your money mayne!
Doesn’t make any difference other than I’m missing $1.99 per moth from my account.
  • Solid Identification

    By markbyrn
I prefer to use the identification feature as opposed to blocking
  • Free app

    By peaches westerly
You shouldn’t list as free app. Wasted my time downloading. Just say $$$
  • No longer works

    By Amateur Sewist
I have use this app for about six months. I have noticed since the beginning of this year it no longer works and no longer stops Robo calls. when you type in phone numbers in their system it shows it’s a Robo call but it still allows them all to go through. I’m not sure what has happened in the last few months but unfortunately I will be canceling my subscription and looking for another program
  • Overwhelmed

    By UwharrieBoy
This app worked initially when there were 800,000 robo calls. Now there are over 1,400,000 and the app must not have the capability to stop ever call. I get several calls a day that get through even though robo has them listed as a robo caller. How do I know this. I get a robo call and when I share the number with robo so they can put it in the registry, it is already listed as a robo call. It also will not block unknown calls. I reported this twice and was told they are upgrading the app. It still does not stop all calls. Im going to cancel my subscription.
  • Not working.

    By AER1518
App setup is flawed. After following all the steps, I keep getting a message that says my phone was not authenticated, was told to uninstall and reinstall the app. After doing so the app still did not work.
  • You have to pay monthly!

    By GrandmaSW
Was very interested and added this to my phone only to find out they want you to pay monthly for the service.
  • Going downhill

    By anniebeau413
This app worked better a year ago. Does not block many robocalls now and when I set it to automatically send robocalls to voicemail it seems to send many of the allowed callers in my contact list directly to voicemail as well. Had to remove that setting.
  • Doesn't Work, Support is Non-Existant

    By Bobby T.
Once again I recieved a call from a scam number that Nomorobo purports to recognize. Once again I found this out after the fact as though Nomorobo is installed AND is set up as indicated, it quite simply doesn't work. I reached out for support a few weeks ago after I identified a previous number that went unblocked even though Nomorobo's site has identified the number, but I never got any kind of response. Needless to say I'm canceling my subscription today and will use a different service.
  • Great robocall blocker 👍

    By Mouthful25
I honestly don’t understand all the hate Nomorobo’s been getting, and why it has 2.1 stars to its name after a much higher rating. This is still an excellent robocall blocker. At one point, it was unable to detect a large amount of Chinese robocallers, but they seem to have shut all those down. On top of that, it’s now a robocall blocker, a junk message blocker, and an ad blocker all in one! And whenever I report a robocaller to Nomorobo, they get on it right away! I genuinely hope Nomorobo gets the praise and high rating it deserves again. After all, with over 1.4 million blocked numbers in their blacklist, you can’t go wrong. Thanks, Nomorobo! 👍👍👍
  • 24 hours in went from 20 robo calls to 1

    By Lilactrap
Need to make be able to Block certain area codes. All mine come from a single area code.
  • Keeps on charging me!

    By Michael vn
This app continues to charge me even though I already cancelled my subscription.
  • Terrible. The scourge continues.

    By Will~T
This blocks some calls, but most it hasn't. And since downloading it, I've probably gotten more overall calls. No good.
  • Was great, now not so much

    By Curdplayer
I’m not sure what happened, this app worked amazingly well when I first installed a few months ago. Now though, it doesn’t seem to be doing anything. I’m going to shutoff my subscription if this persists.
  • Read the reviews so you don’t make the same mistake

    By r casey
So I got a ‘new’ work cell phone number which was apparently an old phone number for someone named Dennis. Apparently Dennis used his number a lot online for quick money making schemes. So now I get 10-12 calls and texts per day offering ways that this Dennis can get rich quick. Thanks a lot Dennis and thanks a lot Nomorobo for not blocking any of these call. Maybe that’s too harsh... the robocalls are down to 7-8 per day and none of which are identified as robocallers. With this being a work phone, I would typically receive calls from people I don’t know on a regular basis. Now I have to screen every call and hope they leave a voicemail. It seemed like it was working during the 7 day trial. So I stupidly signed up for one year. Don’t make my mistake.
  • Fairly useless. I get 5-10 spam/robocalls per day

    By qwertyyttewq
    Not a very effective product
  • Nomorobo

    By SedonaEd
This is a great apt!It is not 100%,but it works very well.I found that you have to make sure it refreshes itself. If you travel as soon as you have internet access you need to make sure it is refreshed. Also leave the apt on.If you refresh and then flick it off it is not as effective. If a robocall makes it through, then you go to the apt and the lookup section and if it is not listed as a robocall put press block and it will take care of it.
  • Spam text enabled, but not showing through Nomorobo

    By LizS1977
I love this app. However, I have Nomorobo spam text enabled in my settings, but it’s not showing so in the app. I am getting spam texts about free movie invites and now credit card phishing texts. They are not being blocked or filtered out. I have the spam text enabled in my settings. Please fix this.
  • Failed to Block Unknown Callers

    By Apple User 997899
This app simply failed at doing the job that was necessary. It couldn’t identify the plethora of new numbers the scammers are entering every day. I have come to the conclusion that the ONLY solution... is to never accept an unknown caller, and the app doesn’t do that. The way to block unknown callers is to use the do-not-disturb feature, and only accept calls from people in your contacts. That said, this app definitely blocked about 10-20 % of unknown callers correctly, but this was still too much, to irritating to spend $ every month for an app that works only partially.
  • The app doesn’t appear in call blocking settings

    By gradientus
U waited 30 min for the app to show up. I uninstalled, reinstalled. I powered the phone off. Too much of my own troubleshooting just to get another garbage app to work.
  • Buggy with iOS

    By Diggsdan
Does not automatically update even when it is open in the background. As a result, I am still getting lots robocalls which defeats the purpose of the app.
  • Works great!

    By UVAcavs47
I used to get 7-10 calls per day, now I get basically none.
  • Best and easiest to use

    By Obx drew
I have an iPhone Xs with Verizon wireless. I’ve tried all the things including Verizon’s app. This works WAAAAAY better. The only other option is YouMail (much better but more expensive and more complicated). After years of trying different things. Nomorobo seems to be the best for the price and ease of use. Once you have it dialed in and figured out, you forget you even have it. I’ve also noticed that the longer you use it, the better it works.
  • When it works it is great

    By ccb513
Overall it works great and intercepts and sends to voicemail identifying as a robocall. Unfortunately a few times it quit refreshing and I had to delete the app then reinstall. This is something that should not occur when you are paying for the service. I have been using this app for close to a year and it has really saved the aggravation caused by Medicare solicitors.
