  • No Communication

    By KardinalSyn
I hate how there is no communication between Aniplex and players. The only way to try and get in contact with them is thru email and if your email address is not set up a certain way; then it won’t even go through to them. It is a good game and I like playing it; but I completed this last Christmas event they had and did not recieve the silver ticket that it was supposed to give. It has been since since Dec. 1st that I have emailed them through their only way of contact and have yet to recieve a reply from anyone.
  • It’s fun

    By Shelfie7
Look it’s a fun game heck I don’t mind the rates but mean I just wish there was a really quick way to get saint quartz like the “get so and so saint quartz hacks” that’s really the only problem I have mean I can’t really spend money on the game so that the biggest issue for me
  • Fun great game

    By Talbain53
At launch I wasn’t really into it but now I’m loving the mechanics and love the characters. Story is great. I wish the gacha was more generous but nothing I think ruins the game. 3 star servants are amazing when you level them. They might not be your faves but they can handle anything the game throws at you.
  • Big Fix

    By ehjifhi
It’s an overall good game but it didn’t reward me for clearing the seventh christmas night
  • Great game but...

    By legendary hero-Hiro
It’s a great game I love it, and I honestly have no problems but in this recent event I’m having problems I should have gotten the silver ticket to summon Jeanne Santa Alter but I haven’t, I’m really kinda stressed cause the event is ending but I finished the story to get her and already used resources on her please help (T_T) anyways it’s a good game but it does have flaws.

I love the game but with the latest event I completed it and for the last part I was should have gotten the silver summoning ticket to get the limited time only servant but I never got the ticket is anyone else gaveling this problem
  • Aniplex USA keeping us i the dark and horrible gacha rates

    By jdjsksjs
There’s no communication between aniplex and it’s consumers which makes me feel like a cash grab. And my god does it work because I’ve spent hundreds upon hundreds of dollars trying to roll for the .png images of anime girls. But no more. I’ll be more than happy playing Azur Lane and UtaPri.
  • 3 Stars

    By [ma}{ima]
Pros: - Nice artwork, voiceovers, story and gameplay. Cons: - For a mainly solo game, it’s not offline playable. - Gameplay grind easily gets bland and repetitive. - Lacking in the social aspect to justify persistent internet connection - aside from using a friend’s servant, there aren’t any coop events, competitions nor pvp. - One of the games with worst summon rates on mobile. - Quartz are very limited in-game and quite expensive in the shop. Score: 3 Stars An enjoyable solo game but I believe it lacks solid social aspects to justify an full-time internet connection all the time. From the many mobile games I’ve played since 2011, this, undeniably has one of the worst gacha pools ever- the summoning pool is mixed craft essences + servants (servants are already very hard to get) and it’s really a common experience here where once in a while you get something nice from single summons but most of the time, you spend all the quartz you saved/bought and get nothing useful at all. The game is sadly designed to be a massive money sink and it’s rather disappointing that many players still defend it while others sink crazy, massive amounts of money into it so regardless the complaints, the devs wouldn’t mind and continue to believe their business practice is okay. Just play the game for free, I wouldn’t recommend spending on this game.
  • Lose everything?

    By Succubasu
I have an older IPad, so it can't update to 10.0, which means I've effectively lost everything unless I'm somehow able to get my code. I would really like to not be forced to completely start over.
  • Great game

Nice art, animations and story that is very intriguing. Appeals to fate fans and newcomers alike.
  • iPhone XR Performance Issues.

    By kevin20003
The game is unplayable on my iPhone XR with FPS dips every few seconds especially in-battle. No 5 stars until it’s fixed; I know you want it! 😏

  • “Fatefully Amazing!”

    By KaiyinMarcellus
Fate Grand Order is an amazing game! I have been playing for about 300 days and I love it. You are rewarded for consistency, an interesting story if you are a fan of the anime Fate Series. The characters, their stories, all of it is appreciated (based on Many people from History, Mythology, and Lore)! You have the opportunity to pay for more saint quarts however, you do not have to pay a dime to enjoy this game. A big fan! If you want help in battles my username is “Kaiyin”.

    Great game
  • Storyline=good. Gacha=awful

    By Klynmaer
Big fan of the Fate series for their storyline and characters. The game has a diverse set of characters, pretty good story, and strategic and fun combat system. However, the gacha (for those unfamiliar, basically like a slot machine or lottery) is a joke. The in game currency you use to get new characters from the gacha has some of the WORST drop rates of any game I've ever played. Less than 1% chance to get a 5 star character, the best type you can get. Be prepared for a lot of frustration saving up your currency to get a character you want. And just avoid spending real money to get the in-game stuff, the percentage will not increase. Update 11/27/2018: The game has barely changed, and the summon rates are still atrocious. Saved up 90 currency for a total of 30 summons, and I got no 4 or 5 star character, and not even a 5 star craft essence. Save your money, play the game for the story, but don’t expect this garbage summoning system to ever reward your hard saved currency.
  • Welcome to gacha hell!

    By Gifyihgcvghigcihhigchgi
During your stay here, you will be exposed to many forms of salt, such as losing battles, endless grinding, and, most importantly, getting nothing but trash from the gacha! However, you may still rejoice, as there is a nice, well-written story to play through, and highly strategic battles that are emotionally rewarding to win! Overall, this is a fantastic game, and as it is receiving regular updates, it will likely stay fantastic for the foreseeable future!

  • Pretty good game

I love this game, but they don’t give you a lot to summon
  • Laggy and deceptive

    By Tyrecke
Download times have put this game out of commission for days. There’s no login to secure your save. You have a 6-digit transfer password on your phone- lose it and the game is gone (along with gameplay time and any money you may have spent). Highlighted content in the premium roulette has a .5% chance of appearing. If you were going to buy something at the store that was 99.5% something you didn’t want, would you buy? No. Don’t expect to get anything. Don’t pay money for a .5% chance at something decent. Many things are broken with this game. Not sure if/when they’ll be fixed.
  • Terrible game

    By AinzOGown
Worst draw rate gacha I’ve ever played. Period.
  • I’m Disappointed.

    By SacredSloth
I love the Fate series, Don’t get me wrong this game is good in the aspect of mechanics. There are a couple issues though with the ‘Gacha’ system though. Rates are not as they seem to be I dropped over 120$ in this new banner while exceeding the rates at which I should at least receive a four star but I wish I was lying when I said I didn’t receive at least 1. You could tell when you spin your chances are slim to none to receive a 5* but a four star not one? They’ve already been exposed to have rigged rates but they claim to have fix them. I don’t know if it’s true though. I do understand it is a “GACHA” of course but at least don’t lie about the rates.
  • Not even Mediocre

By Angry girl for angry birds
Worst rates for rare characters of any mobile game I’ve tried with mediocre gameplay, story is pretty good but not the best. It is, after all, not the ideal medium for telling stories. The events give cool things and manage to get me back into playing but really I just play because I’ve had it so long and have sunk to much time and energy to just leave it by the wayside. Although make no mistake that basically just means I log in to keep the weekly chain going. If you are considering getting it I honestly don’t think I can recommend it. Even if you are absolutely in love with the characters it’s just a money pit or it’ll turn that love into apathy or hatred. I loved the fate universe but heaven has no rage like love to hatred made. Now I see it with more contempt than love and the characters I once strove to collect are mere existences for which I lack desire.
  • I made a mistake

    By MrGiggleScream
Alright so last update they updated it where you can get more than one transfer code and that’s all I ever wanted so thank you so much creators and developers this truly is the great I love everything y’all do!!
  • Great game

    By SifThor
This game is just as good as the anime I love the special events in the game it makes the game play even better
  • (5 Months later) after downloading...

    By Exxious
The game is great. events are always in process, story is well made, all Servants (even 1-3 stars) are balanced and usable if you learn how to use their gimmicks, keeps me playing for hours. gacha is absurdly low as everyone knows but I have managed to get 4 SSRs and a good amount of SRs, including welfare servants. Made it to level 103 also
  • Love Hurts (FGO Edition)

    By Sorry Im Alive
I got into the Fate franchise through the anime and almost immediately fell in love with its concept. After burning through all the episodes I saw an advertisement for Fate/Grand Order and decided I should try it. I was happy to find that its story is fantastic and all of the characters are well-fleshed out with memorable personalities, and the events are always fun. The only things keeping this game from 5 stars in my eyes are the abysmal drop rates for 5 star servants and the fact that Aniplex treats the North American players like second class citizens compared to its Japanese fan base.
  • Save File Retrieval

    By Psychofox45
I love the game! One of my all time favorite mobile video games, but I feel the data transfer can be a bit of a difficult approach... my phone was stolen recently and there was no way to retrieve my data, so I’m forced to start all over again.. would love if there were an alternate way to retrieve game save files.
  • Gameplay

    By Suuku two
The only thing I would like is that they had an auto battle and you get the main hero’s you help at the end of the chapter
  • A Very F2P Friendly Gacha

    By Davezaster
I’ll sum it up concisely since some people in the reviews clearly have their heads up somewhere they shouldn’t. Low star units are viable and can help you clear content. There is a good and long story that is challenging but not impossible. Free to play players will find plenty of Saint Quartz to roll for new cards. Pull rates are very generous compared to other gachas out there. You are NOT required to pull 5 copies of any unit in order to “unlock its max potential”. That is utterly and grossly incorrect. If you’re getting one shot in Okeanos, congratulations. You’ve somehow made a challenge out of what is actually a very simple game. I would love to see you play Dark Souls or something actually challenging. If you’re made that you have to wait “days” in order to use free pulls, then you are an impatient child and have nothing but a life of frustration ahead of you. I wish you the best of luck with that.
  • Beautiful

    By Sidius95
I love the fate series and I love this game. Only thing keeping me from five stars in the gacha. Otherwise this is a good game. Story, characters, graphics and the battles.
  • Good games but need optimization

    By BayuWidi
First of all i like the game so much and i really love fate series in any way. But there is one problem arises. I play this game a lot on iphone 7 but when i change to iphone x, suddenly there is some blue border appearing and limit the view of the game and it was really annoying and i cant get use to it. Is there any update regarding the screen glitch? Both from appstore or delightworks? If there is pls update it ASAP... because on the user experience-wise it will ruin the game quite bad for all Iphone X out there..
  • Really good game but one thing

    By LeoneRulz
I’ve only been playing this game for a few months now, it’s got a great story and really well done art. My only problem is getting 4 and 5 star servants and essences, I personally think there should be a few more ways to obtain them/higher drop chance 1. The first is have a very low chance of being able to obtain them from friendship summon that way there at least an even smaller chance of getting a 4 or 5 star then having to obtain 30 quartz constantly. 2. Make the drop chance a little higher for 4 and 5 stars and 30 quartz summon to in my opinion make slightly more fair chance of getting a 4 or 5 star slightly more likely. 3. This is one that I think could be ok but it whatever make getting a 4 star guaranteed from 10 pulls on 30 quartz summons so that way it’s not only 3 stars and the guaranteed 4 star essence. 4. This I could I really see being fair, make it so that if u do all the side missions in a story line u can get a 4 star servant related to that story line. 5. Finally this another ehhhh thing lower the amount of quartz needed for 10 pull to maybe like 20 idk this is whatever one. Anyways that’s just my opinion on making getting 4 and 5 stars a little more fair. But otherwise like I said I really like the game, I think it’s great and I hope to continue playing.
  • I wish I could give five stars

    By Grotto agin
As much as I enjoy the fate series this app Unfortunately, gives the whole series a bad name, it is nothing more than a money grab in order to get a servant you like. You basically have to grind for months not hours MONTHS to get enough quarters (300 plus) jut to have a .07 chance to get your favorite. And if you want to invest currency $$$ it costs 79.99 plus tax (86.99) for only 4 to 5 rolls. Do not expect to receive much incentive to keep playing from the company either they barely offer any gratitude for the fact players might have paid almost $100.00 for digital media.
  • To the players saving quartz

-over 3 10x rolls, your will is indomitable.
  • Lazy Developers

    By Joefutofu
I can live with the lack of pity rates, lack of communication with the SEA staff running the game, and the abysmally lazy copy and pasted events with cut rewards and content. However, the first thing you’ll see when playing this game on and iPhone X are ugly blue bars covering the screen. All relevant gacha games support the screen better, such as Dragalia Lost, Animal Crossing, Azur Lane, and Girls Frontline. Presentation is everything, and this game doesn’t deserve another cent from anyone
  • Pay to get waifu, not pay to play.

    By frilly fizz
Have a waifu that’s not on rate up? Pray to get spooked. Want to just enjoy gameplay without spending money, but have time to grind? Then FGO is the game for you. You can pass with 2-3 star servants with no problem, but you have to grind for mats without an event at the moment. They give you the occasional free 4 star that can be np maxed. (Caster Liz, Saber Liz, Santa Salter etc.) Though the chances for a 5 star are 1%. And those are usually the waifus, however there are few exceptions. It is a great game story and gameplay wise, just kind of tiring to grind. I enjoy it though, and like raising up my servants.
  • So Simple it’s complex

    By MomofVI
The combat is easy to get the hang of but can form a long in depth strategy when tough bosses show up. but most of the time your mindlessly cutting though the same enemies so it would help a lot just to have a auto fight mechanic
  • Don’t ever play this

    By alyavalon
If you ever make a purchase, and happen to get a new phone or anything pray you don’t loose access to your purchase records. Because even if you can provide all relevant info for your account the customer service is just to inept at giving you your account again. A company that can only give you access with purchase records is no company at all. Even apple themselves isn’t that stubborn.
  • Amazing game but easily the worst gacha in history

By Who needs the servants, right?
I come to this game as a huge fan of the Fate series, and i must say that the game itself is a piece of art if you are an actual fan of the saga. The animations are beautiful, all the servants are relatively well balanced so that you can progress in the game with 3* servants if needed, and the story telling is extremely well written and narrated (it even made me cry in chapters like Camelot). It is a unique game that will provide you with a fantastic experience. I am not a person that gets easily hooked to phone games, but I can see myself playing FGO for years to come. However, I must admit it also has flaws that cannot be overlooked. The biggest flaw is the rates of getting a 5* servant are ridiculously low. And believe me when I say I am not salty about it, I have had the luck of getting until the moment all the waifus I put my eye on without spending actual money (Jalter, Jeanne, Archuria, summer tamamo, etc), but it is undeniable that the gacha policy in this game is easily the worst among all gachas. The rates of summoning a certain 5* servant (when the rate is up!) is 0.7%, which means you have to statistically roll 150 times to obtain the 5* servant you want. The currency needed for 150 rolls costs 240$. And unfortunately there is no real way to farm that currency after you get up to date into the main story line, which means that if you really really want to get certain servant, you will find yourself saving the in game currency for months to try your luck or spending a lot of real money. And still, that won’t guarantee you will get the servant, since your chances of getting them are too low (and they never give any 5* servant for free). To not mention either that the rates of getting a 4* servant are also terrible. All this together is a huge problem, and I can tell it will never be improved since some fans do think the gacha rates are just fine and are up to spend even their souls in this game. Most of the people that come to this game they do it because of the story and because their love for the servants, so if you are not able to spend hundreds of dollars you will end up feeling frustrated, and that, to me as a gamer and a collector, hurts my soul. Funny thing is that I could totally afford to whale, but you know, I only play another gacha in which I managed somehow to get all the characters until the moment without spending real life money, and still, I feel more eager to spend my money in there because I feel more respected both as a costumer and as a gamer. So in summary, the game is amazing, it really is, but it will destroy your hopes little by little of getting all your beloved servants. So, if you still want to play it I can just give you two advices: or be prepared to spend tons of real money, or just assume that you might get bad luck and never get the character you want due to the extremely unfair rates. If you go with the right mindset, you will enjoy the experience to the fullest, and that is what matters.
  • Fate Grand Order

    By FcharGaming
Ok, I will just start out by saying I am not a bot. I have played this game for a year straight. Stop complaining about the gacha. Even one star Servants can be good, it just relies on skill. While I won’t argue that the singularities take a while, this game is great if you can look past that. If you’re reading this, get the game. You really don’t have anything to lose. 🤗
  • Dropping frames in battle. iPhone XR

    By Supp1n
The iPhone XR is arguably the fastest iPhone currently available (with its sisters the xs and xs max). Even on the bleeding edge hardware this game is dropping frames in battle. Dog slow load times as well for NP animations. Additionally the screen is ‘letterboxed’ for lazy programming. But that’s just insult to injury. Just make the game run right on these top end iPhones.
  • Love the app but....

    By Syzzle
Whenever I have a really good login streak going, the app won’t let me log on for 2-3 days. It just gives me an infinite loading screen. I’d delete and reinstall the app if I wasn’t worried about all my progress being deleted. It’s super frustrating and makes me wanna stop playing the game altogether.
  • Lost Data

    By Mhfv
I played this game for 5 months, made in game purchases with real money, leveled almost all the way up, and earned rare high level servants. Then it did an update which failed literally dozens of times and the game would never launch. I finally got it running and all of my data was gone!!! I contacted support. They gave my a list of information to provide them of about a dozen questions and asked me to answer as many as possible to recover my account. I have answers for all but 3 and they told me they couldn't recover it, couldn't refund me and just couldn't help me unless I answer the rest. I lost hours of investment and real world dollars because their game failed. Terrible
