  • The best game ever

    By Casey Lynn Payne
It makes me so much more organized writing down my mood and making me feel happier by telling me how to make my life better
  • Excellent and easy to use mood tracker

    By Ayuri17
This is a really great app and worth every penny. It would be really useful to add the ability to track mood by time of day, either in some sort of scrolling line chart format or a bar chart format.
  • Simple and Satisfying

    By Beth Wilhoite
I really like that you can customize the moods and the activities. I’m really happy that there isn’t a limit for the entries. Super easy, super quick, and a great way to keep track of things.
  • So Far My Favorite Mood Tracker!

    By AnaNeauAli
Their layout and design is very neat, functional, simple, and aesthetically pleasing. I love using this app to step up my emotional literacy and awareness; you are able to add in your own emotion words your list. The one thing that I wish they would add is being able to choose more than one emotion in an entry; they let you choose more than one activity in an entry but not multiple emotions.
  • Excellent!!!

I Enjoy this app very much and I love the emojis!!!!!!! 6⭐️

this was the best app for my hormones. im a teenage girl, and it sure has its ups and downs. having someplace to take it out has been so amazing and it's been nice to do as a lil reminder just at the end of the day! love it... nothing bad 2 say.
  • More featuring like on Android PLEASE!

    By daemonfruit
I had this app when I was on an Android phone. It’s amazing! I love this app! But I would like all the color changing features and others. They said they were working on this on their website.
  • Love it!

    By Penguita_x
It’s great to be able to make an entry with ease. Select your mood, then click on whatever activities you’ve done for the day. It’s all a touch of a button! Tap, tap, tap. And the feature to journal is perfect. You can track your mood, link activities that help contribute to your mood, and write whatever additional information you’d like in the journal section. The best part of the journal feature is that there is NO WORD LIMIT! You can write as much as your heart desires. A short paragraph or an essay! I hate journaling. It’s too much work. But this makes it easy and fun! I don’t have to write a journal entry, and yet nonetheless I can still track my mood! If I’d like to add a journal entry I can, I don’t have to though. All it takes is a short moment of time to enter an entry. I love typing too. I wouldn’t write out a journal everyday, so this is suited for someone like me. It’s quick, I don’t have to journal — I can if I want to, and it keeps track of my mood, calculating all my entries so I don’t have to! It displays my moods overall in a nice line graph. Also in bar graphs. There’s a new dot type of data display, each dot is the color of mood sections, the dots are lined up in a yearly view so you can see your mood overall throughout the year. It also tracks yearly moods regardless. It keeps track of EVERYTHING! It does all the work for you! You don’t have to stay on top of analyzing your mood shifts. It’s all presented to you in a neat display. The interface is enjoyable too. The colors. Emoticons. The app as a whole is aesthetically appealing. It’s also overall a fun experience to use. Tracking my mood is incredibly important being bipolar, along with BPD symptoms, both of which involve mood changes. It’s important to keep track of my mood to see how it’s fluctuating. If it’s too erratic then I can use the data the app collects from my entries and discuss with my providers changes to help stabilize my mood. Especially if there needs to be a medication change. It can help me catch a bad pattern sooner than later. This app is useful in so many ways! Even if you don’t need to track your mood for medical reasons and just want to use the app as a journaling resource it’s perfect for you! It’s beneficial to anyone and everyone. It doesn’t hurt to track your mood! Regardless of whether it’s a priority or leisure. Thank you very much to the creators of Daylio, I can’t express how happy I am to have access to this app! It’s been an incredibly helpful resource. It’s fun, quick, easy. Entries are calculated for you and displayed on easy to understand at first glance graphs. It’s not only a mood tracking app, it’s also a journal! It does all the work for you, all you have to do is complete your entries for the day. Which can be done with ease! What else can you ask for? You do nothing but select your mood, click the activities you did throughout the day. If you’d like add a little additional information in your journal section to your entry. Then the app does all the calculations. You don’t have to do anything but enter quick and short information. Trust me, you’ll enjoy using Daylio! Download it and try it out for yourself! You won’t be disappointed!
  • Amazingly Simple Mood and Life Data Tracker

    By melaward
This is the first review I’ve ever written for an app but this one deserves a review. I haven’t consistently journaled in years and have kicked myself every day as I continued to not journal. Sometimes it was the mind-block I’d experience when staring at an empty page, but most times I just don’t want to take the time and have to dig deep to think about my day and feelings. I have been using this for over a month and it is a fantastic investment! I have a horrible memory, so I don’t remember most days how I felt the day before, which makes it hard to figure out my general state of being. I’m also very visual, so having pictures of activities keep my head clear. Since using this, I can see trends between activities or lack of activity and my general state of mind. I tried this app before, and it didn’t stick for me, but this time I’ve made the commitment and have a nightly alarm reminder (which is key). I wish there was a way to track mood changes throughout a day, or to write new notes instead of editing or starting over for a day. It’s not like my mood is constantly changing, but if I have a great day, but have one bad experience in that otherwise great day, it would be cool to be able to document that separately. Otherwise, I’m thrilled with this app.
  • Best everything

Well I have had a good time with the app and it was hard to use at first but I got used to it and it is fun hope the best luck for you😜
  • BOOTIFUL!But just one problem

    By KittyQueen34576
This is an awesome game!I use it every single day!No doubt! But there’s just one suggestion I would like to make. Can you delete all the premium stuff?I mean, can you at least make us have more of the stats, moods, and can you please let us do the pin?I have a lot of moods, but I can’t put them all in one,and it’s not fair. But if you can do any of these, can you at least let us do the pin?Caise one time my cousin tried to sneak in,but I caught her,and I really had some personal stuff in there! So if you can’t do any other of these suggestions,at least try to let us do the pin? That would mean a lot to me!Otherwise, this is an awesome game and keep up the good work!
  • Amazing

    By dillycowz
My favorite reason why this is so cool is that you can literally take 10 seconds and put down a few things that you did in your day and then submit it and it keeps track of your thing forever so it’s been working out really great withMe and my hard-working the life with my wife and three children.
  • Best Journaling App Ever!!

    By bootypatootie
This all is so easy to use, navigate and understand, and I could get started right away. It’s a great way to keep track of how I’m doing on my goals and my moods, which Is important since I’m mentally ill. It’s overall improved my moods, productivity, and memory. I cannot recommend this enough!!

It’s amazing I love it you share your moods what your up to and I have been more organized thanks to this app
  • Great journaling app for your phone

    By candylover3394
You can customize I think up to three main moods and then your actions during the day you can put pretty much anything and personalize them how you like It's a really great app because I just found out I was pregnant and I do want to keep track of how the pregnancy is going my moods food cravings so what I did is I literally just turn this journaling app into a pregnancy app to keep track of cravings mood swings and how I'm feeling I also love the part at the bottom that you can write your own personal notes that add to it A great feature that this app has as it has a month overview so that over the month if you want to look back and see how this month has been going for you you can actually do that on this and see how your moods have been going maybe start to see a pattern on if there is a place or person who seems to throw off your moods it is awesome would highly recommend this app
  • Great app!

    By muddy harry
This app is great, it really helps with my problems and feeling because if I want to vent something and get it off my chest, or say how my day is, but not to an actual person, then I can write in this. It asks how your day is and then you can write about it. I recommend this app to anyone who may want to keep a diary.
  • Super Easy, Makes it Doable!

    By RowanLuis
I have a rare genetic disease that makes it difficult to do even the easiest of things when I’m sick. With Daylio, I’m able to “journal “ every day, even if that’s just entering my activities (they let you add your own) and mood (can modify these, too)! It’s great because it gives you the option to write your thoughts and feelings, but doesn’t depend upon that if you’re not able to do so. This app helps me track trends and feel like I’m not “lost at sea”. I really appreciate the design and ease for use! Thanks for creating a fantastic app!!

This is a nice way to track my mood and it aids with assessing my mental health. I do wish the app would stop asking me to backup my data. It does it too often and it gets a bit annoying.
  • Simple, Easy to Use Every Day

Daily tracking is the key to success in mood management. Developer, would love it if you could add a widget. Highly recommend!

  • Great app

This is a great app for someone on the run, all the time. I mainly use this diary to monitor and improve self-awareness.
  • I am 1000000% in love with this app

    By MarissaB23
I am diagnosed Bipolar 2 so keeping track of my moods is pretty important to me. I’ve tried what feels like a million mood tracking apps and this is the only one that’s worked for me. Typically I forget or give up after a week or two, but I’m at 180 days in a row right now, and I’ve had it for 180 days lol, so that is a HUGE accomplished for me. I don’t like apps that require a lot in order to keep track and this app has the perfect amount of structure and freedom. You have your great, good, okay, bad, and awful but then you can have custom moods within those! I found that a lot of apps with preset trackers never really had the things I needed to track, so being able to customize your activities to whatever you need to be tracking is absolutely amazing. Keeping track of my mood takes less than a minute and is so easy to keep up with. I suggest this app to everyone that needs to, or even just wants to, keep track of their moods or activists. Totally worth the price, absolutely in love! EDIT: Would he great to have all the options android users have, like being able to change colors!
  • Deleted entries

    By Racecarracecarticktactoepoop
The app was really cool until one day it just decided to delete an entire month of my entries and when I attempted to restore them it simply deleted even more.
  • Speechless

    By Tpuppies
I love it it is amazing. I am speechless 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰😎😎
  • Icons get in the way

    By JRLBell
I was going to give this app a four. However, in attempting to write an entry this morning I realized that something is fundamentally wrong with the design concept. It’s the icons. I really don’t like the mood icons that are required on this app prior to writing the journal. Moods change and are usually way more complex than a single icon can express. In my opinion, mood icons are more appropriate for the moment rather than for a day. Also, choosing an appropriate icon either for the mood or activity interrupts or even changes the stream of consciousness writing that a diary or journal should be. Therefore, I’m giving it a two. I would have given it only one, but the app itself works fine and has a reasonable interface design. For those who don’t mind having their train of thought sabotaged it’s probably a great app.
  • Great! Apple Watch Support Please

    By Monica Elise
I really like this app. It helps to track your mood with a simple yet appealing interface. I also like that you can customize your moods instead of being stuck with whatever moods the app chooses to get you. Improvement: It would be really nice to have an Apple Watch app for this. It would be so easy to long it on your watch while on the go.
  • This is going to be a big help

    By wickednix
One thought. Maybe run the moods vertically top to bottom with icons and custom descriptors to next to the icon. Some settings for right-side or left-side icons to make it easier? I really like the custom moods. I set one as a phrase I might want to remember that helps to adjust my thinking. I’d like to maybe see it so I can read it when it might be needed. Thanks for designing this app. It’s better than what I was looking to find.
  • Good, bud different than android

    By Ethanguin
Great app, but it’s sad that it doesn’t have e same capabilities as in the android version :/ I had this on my samsung phone and it had the ability to change the color scheme of the smileys, which I liked
  • This app has made my mental stability much better just having a diary type thing helps

    By olivia_becket
  • I hate it

    By EvErY_NaMe_is_tAKeN__
It really turned me off how every time I logged in it asked for me to buy and upgrade....
  • Love this app!

    By AMP76VA
I love everything about this app! If I could have one thing added it would be the ability to chart your moods over different periods of time - I.e. 3 months, 6 months, etc
  • Needs a lock 🔒

    By Claire 2.0 🤪
I love this app don’t get me wrong, but it needs a lock. I know you can pay for the premium package and get a lock but some people just don’t have the money to pay five dollars for a bunch of stuff that should be free. I have a younger brother and a younger sister that can’t wait to look at all my personal and I don’t have the money to spend on the premium, please fix this. Sincerely,☹️😫😤🤬😡😥
  • Mind

    By tik tok fan10
I love this app so much it makes me wanna scream.
  • Couldn’t look at my previous months moods

    By RinPet
I get it... the people who make these apps need money, so they make certain features premium only. But I literally need this for very simple things, and not being allowed to see my previous month(s) totally defeats the purpose of why I have this app. And holding that info hostage until I pay up just makes me mad. If the app was cooler and had more free features, I might be excited enough about it to buy premium... but... I’m not.
  • premium is pretty okay- adding GOALS would make the app better!

    By Yasminda605
premium version is pretty good, but i definitely wish there were more features for paying six bucks rather than a few icons and a lock. the app would be even greater if you could set GOALS or tasks and track how you progress. It is a great app for keeping track of your health mentally. goals again would be a wonderful addition to the app!
  • Great micro-diary for daily usage

    By MikeRoss999
This is the first time I'm writing a review of an app. Got more than 100 apps but this one deserves it. It has a really simple user interface. The best way to keep track of daily activities. And easy to find out how many times did I do repetitive stuff, like how many times was I able to cook in a week or was able to go to gym in a month. To plan the future it's better to take a look at the past and see what are we doing wrong or could be doing better in the past. And I can do all this with a single click of a button. Every night before going to bed, I just jot down my activities, so that I keep track of what I'm doing and should be doing in a day. It helps me preserve my habit and makes me more productive.
  • Great app!

    By SophieRaz
If you like to write in diaries or journals but just don’t have time to or is too lazy to do it, this is the right app for you. You just have to select your mood, what you did, and maybe jot down somethings that happened during the day. This app is great with or without membership but I would recommend getting it since their can be more moods and activities to choose from.
  • Love this App

    By HeathD
I love this App it was exactly what I was looking for. The one thing I wish I could do was change the mood colors or add more mood colors.
  • You should have an option to add photos to a day

    By albirdo1
I wish this was an option it would make the app way better so developers of you see this please do it
  • Quick daily record keeping

    By Dogoncarpet
I like this. I may eventually get the premium version because I’m using the activities feature to document the weather. Not sure if there is a weather feature. I like being able to add my own notes. I was spending hours a day writing a lot. This is helping me to end my obsession with journaling everything.
  • Perfect for bipolar and no hidden subscription purchase!

    By Nintendo XO/1
PROS- I love this app. Makes it so easy to track manic and depressive episodes. I so appreciate that there’s only a one time fee instead of a subscription. To be honest, I would’ve lost interest and deleted the app if that would’ve been the case. Makes it so easy to record your day with two taps, however you can also input notes for each day to go into more detail if you’d like. Does such a great job of making it easy to see the ups and downs and everything in between. CONS- If I had one critique, it would be the option to see two months at a time instead of just one month because at the start of each month, you can’t see the previous days unless you go back to the previous month. OVERALL- Overall genius and so easy. The upgrade is worth the price. Amazing for anyone with ups and downs mentally, or anyone who likes journaling their feelings and moods.
  • Delete the app

    By hks_sara
    No password!
  • More continuity and it would be 5 stars!

    By annie268426
I’ve been using Daylio for almost a month and I really love it! I bought the premium version, and while the added stats are great, there is no continuity of mood data between months. At the beginning of March the mood line graph for February vanished for a new one, but it would be significantly more helpful to me if here was an option to keep your line graph going. All the data I’ve added just vanished (not really, but the page looks empty) which makes me feel like I’m back at square one. In MyFitnessPal there is an option to see your data for one month, two months, six months, etc. and I love that I am able to see all the data at once to get a full picture of what is happening. Please add this option! Otherwise a great app!
  • Great 4 Anxiety

    By Nafán
This app is a great way to keep track of your moods. Writing down information about how your mood is helps you reflect on how you’re feeling. It’s been helping me a lot.
  • Awesome

I like waking up in the morning and doing the questions only takes 5sec. Love this app
  • Love it! One major missing feature, and a couple tweaks

    By The Notorious t.i.g
This little app has quickly become one of most used. Got the paid version after using a couple days. The reports definitely come in handy to help me see myself. Summary: 1. Love the simplicity and clean UI 2. All over the customization options 3. Upgrade is worth every penny! 4. Would appreciate ... auto-syncing between devices ... iPad and/or web version(s) ... report by time of day to see if there’s a pattern, as well as clickable items ... re-labeling “other day” option, or maybe having two options, “Now” and “Previous” Long version: The ability to backup to iCloud is great because I know my data are safe (yes, I’m old enough to remember data vs datum 😜). However, this doesn’t auto-sync devices. So every time I create an entry, I manually restore from the latest backup, create the entry, and manually perform another backup. I get that most users probably use a single device. I just happen to use multiple devices. With that in mind, syncing, an iPad app, and a web version would be really helpful. Next is creating an entry for earlier. The option says “Other day” which is misleading because it’s the only way I’ve found to set the specific date & time, even for today. Having both yesterday and today default to the current time is annoying, so I almost always have to use “Other day” to get the times right. Plus, I can select multiple activities but only one mood. It is totally possible to have more than one mood at any given moment. So I’ve ended up adding some mood-like activities so I can set the dominant mood, and add the rest as secondaries. Lastly, reporting. I love how it shows which things frequently go together. It would also really help to see how my mood changes throughout the day, to see if there’s anything time-related. Right now it appears to lump the day as a single entry. Not sure how it picks a mood, other than by dominant color maybe? And the reports by time only make sense if the accurate time entry is easier. Also, it’d be nice to be able to tap on a report, such as an “often together” activity to drill into those specific journal entries to see more. Summary: Thank you , Daylio! Your work definitely helps me, and I greatly appreciate this easy to use app!

  • We 💛 daylio

Daylio is so practical. I can see if I am watching to much tv or not being active enough and what my general moods are. It is great so far! The template of the app is so cute and fun!
