    I have financial limitations that my bank says is from zelle. This limits the amount I can send. Also, not the easiest way to find the right account to send to someone. Needs improvement.

    My Aunt used this app to pay a $700 deposit to a moving company. It turns out they were moving “brokers” and a fraud. Her bank Wells Fargo said they can’t help with the fraud because she paid the fraudulent movers through the zelke app. My aunt contacted zelle and guess what? Read the terms and agreements because they aren’t responsible for any one YOU AGREE TO PAY THROUGH THEIR APP! So, I highly suggest NOT USING ZELLE. Shame on you and your ethics!

    Unfortunately woke up this morning to text alerts from my bank. Someone hacked into my bank account and sent money to themselves through this app. Spent the day at the bank getting it straightened out and will be filing the police report tomorrow morning. Should be more secure in the fact that users can fraudulently use bank accounts that aren’t actually theirs and send stolen money through the app.

    If you use a credit union do not get this app if you can help it. It does not work and the customer support (after 45 minutes on the phone) will fix one bug and it will get replaced with another. Do yourself a favor and just use Venmo.

    I am able to send money but not receive. I’ve tried calling customer service but am met with a typical machine. Zelle is already linked with Bank of America so I thought it would be a simple email/phone number linked to your savings/checking and your off to sending and receiving money.

    I can’t do any transfer with my Bank ( BBVA) directly with the after my daughter introduced me with this app ZELLE, the best I had , thanks to this app now I’m available to send money to anyone with out charge. I love it

    1. Wasted 90 minutes trying to troubleshoot with customer support on why my Venmo card won’t work with their system. ✅Yay! 2. Okay, now I have to transfer my Venmo cash to my bank, and use my bank card with their app. ✅Did that. 3. Try to input my bank card into their app, get ambiguous error message. ‼️Really?? 4. Left with no choice other than.. write paper check, get envelope, stamp envelope, deposit in mailbox. WELCOME TO ZELLE!!! :: FYI, use Venmo. It actually works. ::

    I use to be a big fan of this app, but I just tried sending money to someone that has Zelle through their bank account and it isn’t letting me. I have been able to before... it is so frustrating when something that was fine before isn’t even working now...

    Zelle has held two payments of mine for no reason I have called the bank and zelle support center and they both said there is no reason this should be happening. Please fix app was working perfectly before this, I use my account for my business now I’ve missed or whatever 2 payments because of this

    Do not get this app. When you try and sign up for the service, it takes them over a day to email the registration code, then when you try and put the code in to register, it will say it’s expired. Then, when you call customer service, no one ever answers, I was on hold for 2 hours and gave up.

    First (and only) money transfer app that doesn’t connect with Berkshire bank. & doesn’t work when I try to connect my debit card. Cashapp, Venmo = 10x better. Plus you can invest directly on Cashapp. Stocks and bitcoin etc b

    So the app makes you jump thru a bunch of hoops to get setup and then when I try to send to people that have Zelle also it gives error messages that either they don’t exist or they have to belong to member banks and these are to people that have Zelle and have used it.

    I enter my card info. Won’t save it. Just asks me to keep re-entering it. I find my bank. Open it’s app. Doesn’t do anything from there. This app is garbage. Avoid.

    This app will lock you out after you set up your account. I have money in my account and the app won’t log me in. Customer service is non exist tan done. I do not recommend this app to anyone.

    This app there is no clear instructions on how to actually transfer the money out from it to your bank it’s like they want too keep the money within their app. It’s so annoying Bc when you go to their website to see how to tech the money it doesn’t tell you either it just says to down load the app... well duh I already downloaded it now how do I get my money out . Don’t use waste of time just go with cash app or PayPal.

    This app does not work with my bank. My bank has over 25 branches in California. Only reason why I downloaded this app is because my aunt sent me a small amount of money as a birthday gift. I would advise not to use this app.

    If I could give negative stars, I would. I had an account with zelle and it worked fine but once I got a new phone number and new debit card I called customer service and deactivated it to make a whole new account with my new information. Now Ive been trying to make a new account for 2 weeks but every time I try all it says is “uh oh something went wrong” EVERY single time. I called customer service they said to call my bank, I called my bank and they said that they are receiving the zelle account request and reassured me that it is not on their end because everything is being accepted and going through, through my bank. I called zelle customer service again and they have no idea what the problem is I keep getting told to wait 24hrs and try again but I have done that for 2 weeks already so they said there is nothing else they can do. Zelle is the only way I’m receiving money right now throughout the pandemic, this is very very frustrating and disappointing if someone can help me, that would be nice.

    I’m trying to download this app. My bank doesn’t use Zelle so I have to use the app. Since my bank is not on their bank list I had to enter an email to receive a code. I never received the code so I had to ask for another code. I did this several times and never received a code. I gave up and needless to say the codes came in 6 hours later. You can’t use the last code you received since it was from hours ago. So I figured whatever issues they had were resolved so I tried again. Still haven’t received a timely code to finish the set up. Called customer service and they could not help. I don't recommend this app and wouldn’t trust them with my banking info.

    I lost my debit card and called zelle to update the information. They asked me for data related to the lost debit card (like the full number) that I couldn’t answer because at the time I didn’t have the debit card memorized. So what did they do? They BLOCKED me from using the app! Blocked!! It’s traumatic enough losing a debit card but to then be black listed? Now I can’t use the app at all. Luckily I was able to get my home vendors and the people who ask me to use zelle to switch to cashapp Absolutely ridiculous.

    I used this app for approximately a month before it suddenly stopped asking for any form of verification when signing in. I made sure I was using the most updated version, turned off TouchId to see if that would activate using the passcode, logged out completely, and explored every corner of the app to see where I may have gone wrong with settings. Nope. Still just signed me in. I don’t save passcodes to my phone so it wasn’t that either. After messaging support and receiving a scripted “please call customer support” response, I decided it was best for my financial safety to deactivate my account. That took 30 minutes with most of that time on hold. Wish it would have worked as an alternative to the social media giant, but I can’t afford to leave my debit card open to thieves.

    So the idea is simple enough, but there are some flaws in the app, the biggest being that, when a payment fails (and you receive an error message), your activity feed still shows as payment sent! Your payment didn’t send. Payment sent! Seriously. Customer service was rough. I completed the form online, and 2 days later I received and email saying to call customer service. So I did. I navigated my way through a wonky “press 2 for...” style menu, and after 2 circular rounds, I sat waiting for 18 minutes. Once the rep answered, we went through 3 rounds of her going silent. She could hear everything I was saying, but I couldn’t hear her. And then after 30 seconds she’d come back, until she didn’t around minute 23. She also opined that a slow app load was likely related to the same network problems they were clearly having with their phones. Only problem...the app always seems to load slow and take longer to log me in. I think PayPal is smoother, provides faster and more comprehensive service, and provides me better records and accuracy. Fix the kinks, align payment/send/activity, and there’s potential to bump up the rating.
