  • Hate the new layout on my iPhone

    Hate the new layout on my iPhone with two items side by side instead of the old layout where one item spanned the width of the screen. That was much nicer to look at and allowed me to see much more of, if not all of the item description. Whomever decided to go with this new layout made a HUGE mistake. Very, very poor judgement on their part. Should be immediately fired.

    I have been a prime member for around 6 years. I am SO DISAPPOINTED that when I shop for items now, especially clothing, it will say the lowest price when scrolling through options yet when you click on the item, it will often be a price that is not the AVERAGE price but almost an unrealistic price. My problems are often with clothing. I will click on something expecting it to be sold for advertised price, yet when I am selecting a color and size, it skyrockets to a price I won’t buy it for. I’m often a small or medium, and these prices are never what are advertised. For example, search a long sleeve black dress. When scrolling through options many will say $13. Yet when you chose one advertised for this price, only an XL in one color is $13, many times not even in the color you searched for, and the color I actually searched for in every size is often $20-40 dollars. I highly recommend Amazon putting the price range instead of the lowest advertised price when scrolling through the list of options. This practice is not going to make me buy the item, but just waste my time searching for something that’s within my price range and that I like. Thanks!

    I mean almighty Amazon should be able to figure out how to sort by price. Sorting should not remove any results. It’s a really easy feature that I believe they don’t want us to have. What’s the point of buying from Amazon if they’re not going to give us the ability to buy the lowest priced item from all comparable items. I’m better off looking on google shopping. At least they will let you sort by price and you can make sure you are getting the best deal.

    I am looking in to getting a ferret. CHECK ALL THE REVIEWS.i almost didn’t and some of the things can KILL THEM! Why? Just why? I have not got the ferret yet I’m glad I didn’t some of the things are good to me it is fun to shop and buy these things Every thing I have bought has good quality. Another thing is if you make a list you can’t see the total of your list. Seriously tho CHECK THE REVIEWS. These people are probably CRYING because the items can kill and injure animals and and other things. It helps to check the reviews because most things are killing scams I’m still gonna keep it.     The app used to be fantastic. After the last couple updates the app keeps crashing and keeps giving the cannot connect error even with full bars and WiFi. Really fristrating! I have re-installed and checked all setting but the newest app is garbage!

    Amazon is known for carrying everything and user friendly, however this app is just epitome of awful. When you download the app it says amazon will give you $10 discount within 7 days. Which is nice but that a complete lie. It’s just for you to download the app and that’s it. When the discount comes roughly 5 days after installing and then you attempt to apply it states “you already redeemed this coupon”. Absolutely not true it came but never applied to any of my orders. DO NOT even bother downloading.

    The Amazon app constantly fails and says “oops something went wrong”. I’ve tried deleting and reloading the app twice and restarting my phone. It continues to fail. Amazon needs to fix the bugs on their app for Apple phones. This is a recent problem that I have only had on my XR iPhone. None of my other apps have the issue so this is an Amazon issue. It is frustrating because I buy so much product from them. My fiancé and friends have the same issue.

    Common sense should steer your developers when they make changes. Do they EVER review/use/test their APP changes PRIOR to release to us, your customers? Apparently NOT. Items in the cart NOW only displays 10 items at a time. Must select “show more” after every 10 items displayed in cart, plus purge through multiple “Amazon product suggestions” lines EACH time “show more” is selected. Let’s see, 75 items in cart now requires 8 “show more” taps AND 8 bulk “Amazon product suggestions”. What? Gee, that makes sense. Scrolling thru 2 to 125 items should be seamless. IF IT AIN’T BROKE, DON’t fix it! Does any one with authority and knowledge read this APPs’ reviews? Fix this issue along with the other recent complaint reviews. They are all legitimate. Going forward, please present this APP to us the way we want to use all the features for a pleasant and efficient online shopping experience. PLEASE correct ASAP. I would request a reply from you in a timely manner. I never write reviews. But this and other complaints listed in your “reviews” warrants my input. Thank you.

    I used to have no problem with using the Amazon app on my iPhoneX; And I am constantly on this app! In the last few weeks (July/August 2019), however, within minutes of searching, I have been getting a screen with a dog that says “Something went wrong on our end.” I usually have to close the app and sign back in. This time I deleted the app and re-installed it. That made no difference whatsoever. If they can get this working as it used to, then everything with this app is great.

    On the same app for android, I click the drop down menu on the top left, scroll down to settings, and easily add my amazon smile donation option. The “amazon prime” logo even changes to the smile logo in the app. Why is it that the same app for apple gives me no option to add my donation for smile inside the app. That is BS! There’s no reason other than you just want to make it more difficult for me to donate to the cause that hits very close to home. Please fix this ASAP!

    I’ve used this app for years. It’s was always so awesome and easy to use. A few taps and my purchase was on its way. But for the past few weeks I get a screen that says “ oh-oh something’s wrong on our end” about 70% of the time. I’ve started ordering from other places now. Thinking about canceling Prime too since I’m not ordering much anymore. No point in having It.

    I see lots of reviews for the Uh-Oh something went wrong / dog pic. Or Network Connection Error. This has been going on for at least two weeks. I’ve done everything recommended by support. Delete app, reload. Signoff and back on. Restart. Make sure other Amazon apps are up to date. I’m on an iPhone with latest IOS. Comcast WiFI. Verizon cellular. I don’t want to shop with the browser. Fix please. It’s so frustrating.

    I really love shopping via Apps, but this one crashes out multiple times every single day. It’s pretty frustrating, even though the content is awesome, when it loads properly and allows for continual navigation. Unfortunately the amount of time it crashes out and you see the picture of the dog saying “Go to Amazon home” dampens the entire thing.

  • Combined shipping glitch - I’m done

    Let’s say the description for item A shows it arrives Monday, and item B shows Tuesday. Yet now, attempting to checkout with multiple items in my cart (all shown as in stock, sent to my usual address) bumps one or more items to a mysterious “standard delivery: 4-5 days after ships” category that is several days later than what was in the listing. Maddeningly, going back through and adding/checking out each item individually gives the correct dates. Who has time for this crap? Spent 30 minutes on chat with an Amazon guy who said it was manually fixed (it wasn’t). Then went back and tried to place another order of multiple items. Exact same issue. Amazon used to reliably sort everything perfectly, only asking if you wanted to combine multiple items into fewer boxes with a slight delay. Until they get it working again, I’ll be trying Target or Walmart.
