    Ordered food at 9:19pm, order got delayed repeatedly before being cancelled at 10:07 leaving me with no food and hardly any other options for food since most places closed at 10. Never used before and probably won’t again, now have to work a 12 hr night shift as a nurse with no food. Thanks Grubhub.

    Often recently restaurant hours seem not related to listed hours. And a driver picked up my food, I could see them driving around for 20 minutes (I was 3 minutes away) then tell me the restaurant was just busy. Do you guys monitor that at all? And lastly, I’m complaining here versus in the app because the report functionality just tells me to “set up an email client”, that’s not an error message I should see. I have an email in the app, and no clue how to add an email client to it. I want to report an issue on a specific order easily in the app Bonus complaint: no good group ordering

    Gets my order wrong every time. Estimate times always go up, sometimes up to an hour or longer. Unwilling to refund the order. Wish I could leave less than one star.

    Worst drivers who run off with my food. Absolute trash. Never had such bad experiences with any other delivery app. I was only using you guys for specific restaurants now it’s definitely not worth it. Your chat support is also not helpful.

    I order food at 11:30 am, got numerous updates that the food was ready and had been picked up. After waiting an 1.5 hours with constant updates of a delay I contacted customer support. They said the driver was still waiting for the food despite the map showing him driving in the opposite direction of my apartment and away from the restaurant. I never got my food. I do not recommend using this app.

    So i ordered food obviously, and was given a wait time. I am guessing that this includes time for food to cook and for the driver to deliver said food. In my circumstance i ordered food around 12:05 at noon, the app said that the food would be delivered estimated 55-60 minutes. So i waited till time and still no text, call, email.. nothing, so i decided to make a couple of phone calls and spoke to a grubhub customer service agent and they told me that the driver will be on their way shortly. This all could have been avoided if the app tells you when the driver is running late or that my food got completed and is waiting on a driver. They should make setting in the app that lets you choose what kind of text messages you receive.(like when the food has been finished, and when the driver has gotten the food and headed your way) hopefully they see this and understand i am not happy with the lack of communication but still want the food. Shortly after i got told to wait, my order got cancelled now j dont know if this is because the agent said “hey ill take care of it for you” or if it is just they dont want to deliver. Definetly needs more customer service and communication without having to call someone.

    This is the second time that I’m missing an item from my order. Both times, the restaurant have assured me that they were packed correctly. Either the drivers need to confirm at the restaurant the order they are picking up is correct or they need to keep their hands out of people food. :(

    Order my food yesterday June 1 2020 at 6 pm the people in the restaurant messed up my order so when I call this people they said they won’t reorder my food and my money was gonna take 5 days to recive it back. Pulse they have people that don’t know how to speak English the proper way they are incompetent losers the worst expirience of my life

    I have only had one good experience with Grubhub. I have either been missing food or not gotten any of my food I’m the past. This time was missing an entire meal for a child. The driver could not be reached by customer service. I was refunded the few dollars that was spent but I’m sure most would agree I would have rather had the meal for the child. Poor customer service and drivers with them. Terrible experiences all the time. I will never use them again.

  • I’ve had two orders cancelled in the last 2 weeks

    Twice now I’ve had orders cancelled. If it were around 7-8pm I’d understand given the pandemic but I order around 5-6pm and it says my order is being prepared. The 2 hours later I get the notification my order was cancelled and by that point it’s too late. Normally fine with Grubhub but don’t say my food is being prepared if it isn’t.

    I recently had an issue with a pickup order, ending up being my fault. However, I called the customer service line got someone in like 1 min (no multiple prompts to speak someone). He called the restaurant and called me back and it was resolved in like 3 minutes. If that isn’t customer service idk what is. Bravo!

    I downloaded this app because I got a gift card from work. I went to place a delivery order for lunch and the app told me that delivery was not available at this time. No problem I decided to wait until dinner to place my order. It lets me add everything to my cart and place the order. I immediately get a text message that my order was cancelled. There was no reason given for this cancellation. I tried placing another order with a different restaurant and the same thing. On top of that now my gift card is gone and I can’t use it anymore

    I’m not alone. Every attempt has been a glorious fail for GrubHub. I have no idea how they stay in business with how many times they’ve failed me. I can’t use them for my boss’ work lunches anymore because they never once brought the food (cancelled, didn’t assign a driver, made me go pick it up - you name it). They overcharge for food and then don’t deliver (and keep the extra money if you go get it yourself). Don’t ignore these low star reviews. You might end up a victim of GrubHub - a first world problem, but more frustrating than arguing with a toddler about the sky color. They’re as worthless as gum on a boot heel.

    The service has gone further and further down hill as time has gone on. The only way they “resolve” things is to issue a refund and sometimes a $5 off code (to cover delivery). your forced to reorder missing food incurring another 5.99 delivery fee plus surcharge’s.

    The only problem I have is with your employees coming to my door (during this pandemic) with NO GLOVES OR MASKS. People aren’t wearing shoes and socks as well?? A GUY TRIED TO SHAKE MY HAND! No no no. I’m sorry, but it’s just down right disgusting. It’s also the fact that a couple people have dropped my food off and sat there and waited to hand it to me when specifically it says “leave at door.” I’m sorry, but the people you hire clearly weren’t given a guide or clearly don’t follow it. If it weren’t for the pandemic causing people to drop like flies and my major social anxiety, I wouldn’t be so uptight. Just PLEASE talk to somebody about this, whoever is reading this. Sincerely, A customer who is tired of getting her food delivered by shoeless, handshaking, weirdos.

    I ordered from them at 10:00 and was expected to get it at 11:45. Then the time got pushed back 10 mins and now I have to wait another hr for my food. They need to figure this out cause it’s not great and it’s not the first time this has happened. I’ll probably not order from them again just because it takes over 3 hrs to a meal. Even the restaurant I ordered from gave me a heads up that I will be waiting forever but when they called Grubhub they said there was a driver on the way. I’m not satisfied.
