    BEWARE!!!! if you have a problem with this App there is no customer service. I had been using it for over a year and then I had a problem with my password and could not get in. There is no way to contact anyone, you keep getting sent to a blog that doesn’t answer all your questions. Then I gave up and tried to start over and create a new account and there is no way to reset and use your email address already in the system and of course no one to contact. BEWARE!!!

    Switched from Dashlane since it was getting REALLY expensive and not what I needed. So far LastPass has been just as good if not better than Dashlane. The FaceID login seems to be faster and the app loads more quickly than Dashlane ever could. Hopefully it stays reliable and robust going into the future since it is a much more economical and practical solution. LastPass keeps it simple with just offering password syncing across devices. Dashlane is trying to become a VPN and an identity theft monitor in which most customers don’t even need, want, or want to pay for. Keep up the good work LastPass. :)
  • Impossible loop of problems with install on iPad

    I bought a premium 1 year subscription and installed on 2 PCs and a laptop running Windows 10, and two Android devices. Clunky intrusive interface on Android phones but it works. Get an IPad and get stuck with install that wants a authentication code to complete the install, but it’s never sent. Nothing on the install page to request the code as there is on the other O/S’s. I followed the address link to set up a device as trusted and am somehow logged in using two factor and it works fine, including seeing the new device, but then when I close the browser and start the LastPass app, I’m back to an authentication request screen and nothing is sent. Looking at the webpage for support is a lesson in how companies try an hide the fact they have no real support under nested links of fluff pages.

    I’ve been using LastPass for about five years. My Subscription was $12 a year when I started. Now I found out they just jacked up the price to $36 a year. In 2017 they went to $24 for a year. That’s ridiculous. The software works great but for the price there’s a lot of options out there for a lot less money. I’m bailing out and finding someone else to handle my passwords rather than give money to these bandits.

    I've used Lastpass for years but am considering switching to a competitor. The new app has wiped out the folders I created and seems to not allow new folder creation. Only limited options remain. And sorting seems to be disabled. This version is a huge step back with zero obvious advantages.

    Any time I update my password on my computer to a new password my phone doesn’t get the memo... the app would be great if it actually communicated with my vault online and worked when I made an update.

    Last past has always been a little Corky for iPhone and Apple use. I'm a few versions of iOS behind and do not want to upgrade anymore. Of course this makes compatibility an issue with latest Lastpass version. You would think that the system would realize that and not install upgrade or install older version? Last pass shows I'm logged in, no information found in the account. I made several attempts to contact LastPass as I am a paying user, no response from LastPass support! Bad customer service. Re-thinking the use of App. This has left me completely stranded in a few situations so far. Be wary of paying for this or using this technology will assuredly will leave you stranded With out the passwords you need at some point!

    I like it. BUT THE PRICE WAS $12 PER YEAR FOR THREE YEARS. LAST YEAR IT WAS $24. I just was charged. $36 for the same product. I have not seen any warnings of price increases. I also don’t see a way to print my information so it’s very hard to change to a different system.

    Constantly requires me to re-authenticate, regardless if I set the “remember me for 30 days” indicator or not. Re-authenticated 4 times today. I don’t have this problem on the iPhone-

    I have been locked out of my account because of a 2 factor authentication failure. I have backup 2FA methods in place but cannot access them because of some sort of circular logic that keeps trying to use the one that has failed. I have entered a support ticket that has not been acted on in over 2 days despite their 24/7 support claim. If they expect me to trust them with my critical passwords in a system that is flawed then this is completely unacceptable technical support. Update: it is now 3 days without response by support. Update: it is now 4 days without a response. Update: 5 days and no response. Update: 6 days and no response. I emailed support yesterday asking for any information regarding my ticket. No response to that either. Update: 7 days. No response. Third email to support sent although I do not believe that there will ever be assistance. I am moving all the passwords I can recall and the new passwords I must make to a different password manager. Just appalling support. Update: 13 days and still no response. I have had to switch to another password manager. Update: response after 16 days. Yes, apparently they think that waiting 16 days is reasonable to recover your passwords. I don’t. I think that a 2-3 week delay is ridiculous. Bottom line: LastPass cannot be trusted with your passwords. This is the first time I have suggested than an app is unsafe to use.

    You cannot reset your password, because it asks you for your old password. Great idea. The reason you want to reset your password is cause you do not remember your original password. I believe you have to erase all data and start fresh. I will cancel account before I do that

    All of the passwords disappeared in the app. They are still there if I go to a particular site, but I can no longer see them or exit them in the 'sites' tab. Even though I am a premium member it's taking a week or more to get a response from tech support, ( and they only give me useless stock advice like reinstalling the app, and ask me about the app version even though it was one of the first things I reported. Sigh. ) I figured it might get bad after Logmein bought them. Time to move to a more reliable password manager.

  • After Recent Update, App is Useless

    The most recent update left me with a vault that is completely blank when I login. I have tried sending technical support emails, which never actually send (they never show up in my sent folder), and one managed to go through, and I never got a replay. I submitted a support ticket online, and I got email saying my support ticket was submitted, and I never got a reply. Lastpass has worked great for me, but being unable to access any of my usernames or passwords on mobile has rendered Lastpass useless for me. It's upsetting that customer support is nonexistent. I've waited for an update to get pushed out or a response to my emails, but I haven't received either. At this point, I'm deleting Lastpass and moving to a different password manager, hopefully one that actually helps solve technical issues when they arise.

    If you are looking for a great app that helps you with all those infinite passwords then this app is for you. It helps you with almost all websites (except a few ones like banks websites). And it does have browser extensions, so if you create/update a password, it will immediately be loaded into your account and have it available in your browser. I am very picky, and this app is for sure a 5 stars one.

    After much research, I chose LP (families) and really like the ability to save and share secure notes (driver licenses, immunization history, etc.). I also like the ability for my wife to access my account should I get hit by a truck. The interface is somewhat clunky. I would have rated LP 4-5 stars, but the instructions are poor and support is terrible. There are features that might be useful but are not explained well enough for me to know. Worst, I’m not certain the support personnel understand what LP is or have ever used it. I had an issue logging in with Touch ID on a new iPad. It worked perfectly on my iPhone, but I had to enter my password on the pad. After searching LP support and then the web for way too long, I sent an e-mail to support. Three messages told me to select “remember password” (which the app wisely recommends not doing). This was not only wrong (did not address my problem), it was wrong-headed. The actual solution was to change a setting—not to remove password protection from the app! I figured this out by comparing all settings on my phone and iPad, one at a time. It feels like LastPass is an afterthought for the corporation, LogMeIn. Not hopeful for my second most expensive app (after Apple. Music). I sent this review to LP support before posting it here and received the following “response”: Hello , I just tested the issue on my end and it works as expected.     iPhone app fill is much improved. Haven’t had it fail to work on any website in several versions. Makes the hassle of dozens of passwords a breeze. Highly recommended.

    Latest update broken on old iPADs... The vault no longer loads with latest update. Online support does not respond and there is no phone number to call... well there is but it says go to the web for support. The app fill never worked with chrome forcing me to use the lastpass browser. All this great experience despite my being a premium user.

    Worked fine up until a recent update. Now I can log in but I can't see any entries. Just a blank vault. Fortunately it's just an iPad bug, and my data is still on the web site.

    Overall, it's such a lifesaver of a system! It truly is just about flawless in my opinion; between the iPhone (+ Watch) app, desktop app, and extension for Google Chrome, there are very few times where I there was a snag. And now my chronically forgetful self doesn't need the gaggle of unorganized Post-It notes from before. LastPass keeps your logins, addresses, and secure notes safe and protected while also connecting seamlessly between all of your devices. Not only that, but it integrates itself into your phone so logging into accounts on either a mobile browser or an app, the LastPass icon will appear in the blank login fields and all you have to do is tap. Honestly, the only complaint is how every once in awhile, the icon won't appear automatically, but all it means is then you gotta manually retrieve your username/password from within the LastPass app itself. Though, it occurs rather infrequently and isn't a real deal breaker to me. And yeah, of course you can pay to upgrade your account, but I personally never have and I don't feel like a big number of features are missing from the app. Still unsure? Don't be, get this app! Think you won't like it? That's tough, but you are probably wrong, so get this app! Because ask yourself –– do you *really* want just any ol' password filing system? Why use a glorified (supposedly "airtight”) notepad app to keep some of their most sensitive information? LastPass gives ironclad storage and peace of mind –– with no quotation marks or supposed anything.

    I paid for Premium from the start. I created my master password, but I have never been able to log in with it. User error? Probably, but I still cannot access the account I paid for. I cannot do a password reset because I was never able to log in with the password I created. I have submitted two support tickets; the first over a week ago. I have received no response. They took my money. I cannot use the service. I cannot reach anyone even to get a refund. You f—ing internet, cloud businesses that create no mechanism for human support are not accountable to your customers and something is wrong with that.

    It rarely works on any website to autofill anymore. The macOS app is terrible and the one in the Mac App store isn't even current so it just makes you install the app from a third party site. The slider to pick password length is too sensitive to get certain numbers. What a joke.

    It's not as easy to set up as it says it is. Worked for a while and now doesn't work at all. I can't see any of my accounts except when I go into auto fill and then it still doesn't open my selection

    I cannot see the contents of my vault in the app. I can see them when I log in to the web site. Sent message to the developer over a week ago and have received no response. Over all I have not found this app to be very user friendly, and no response to inquiries is totally unacceptable.
