  • This is so easy!!

    By Kanolays
I'm pretty sure I'll be speaking french fluently in a couple months. This is amazing! Merci!!
  • Good, but somethings unfair

    By BitsyBoo25
Personally i think this is the PERFECT WAY to learn languages. But i think it unfair to pay to learn how to have a conversation in a different language...
  • Why pay ?

    By maulauy22
I wish I did not have to pay for the rest but overall it’s good
  • Recommend

    By Sherrywacker
Expensive but a great way to learn a language. Don’t give them a different email address when you renew with them, it will mess up your whole account. They auto charged my renewal after I had already taken a good renewal deal. They were helpful in clearing it up when I called for support.
  • Classic Way to Learn Languages

    By merizinal
Hard to beat for the price and functionality. All the familiar features of the software seamlessly adapted to computers and phones. Used RStone 10 years ago to learn basic French, and it taught me more in a year than the regular high school class for four years. If you’re going to invest time in a language, do it with this to start, then maybe do live one on ones.
  • Good or not good

    By pandal f
I say good, for it is so much easier than you think and it makes it fun. You learn new and things and if you don’t think you anwserd it right it makes sure you do. It tells you how good you are doing. Also if you don’t want to do the lesson you can take pictures of objects and it gives you the item in the league you want
  • Immersion is the only way to really learn a language

    By christianw13
If you rely on translating, I don’t think you can ever become fluent. Each language has words and phrases that simply cannot be translated. When you have a conversation in a foreign language and you have to translate the foreign words you hear into your native language and then translate your response from native back into foreign language, you will not only get tired and stressed out but your conversation will not be fluent and natural. What works for me are images. When learning the foreign word for flowers for example, I don’t translate into my native language but imagine a picture of flowers in my head. Then coming up with Blumen, fleures, flores, etc. in a foreign language conversation is much faster and requires much less brain power than translating. Those are just my 2 cents. This approach works best for me. I’m a foreign language major with 4 foreign languages. English is my 3rd language. Everyone is different and has their preferred way of learning but I encourage everyone to try the immersion approach for one or two weeks and see how it goes. App works great. I only encountered one small glitch but that may have been a glitch on my device.
  • Great App

    By 8:59am
Great app that is user friendly and makes learning on the go easy!
  • Took a while

    By LaLa080110
I can’t remember exactly when I bought this but I know its been over 6 months and I can FINALLY use the app. I feel like those months were wasted because I need this on the go no matter where I am. I want to learn and I missed out because I can’t always get to and use my computer to learn as I need to. This app is super convenient when it works.
  • Great app

  • Oh. My. Gosh.

    By Please_DontReply
This is the best language speaking app I’ve ever seen! It is totally worth downloading, I 100 percent recommend this app to anyone who is looking to study a language STEP BY STEP for career, travel, or just for fun! But if you’re looking to learn a language in a day or two, then you should maybe find a different app.
  • Easy to learn

Thanks for this German program teaching: I’m very thankful with this great program to learn German and French; I have both.
  • Wonderful

My 7 year old daughter loves it and she’s learning effortlessly, I highly recommend
  • Needs Improvement

    By Jahzara Heartzle
RosettaStone I love that it focuses on pronunciation. It is enjoyable, but I’d like to see more especially if I’m paying for it. I’d want a better mic recognition and not be too sensitive or mark it wrong especially if it’s not even my fault it didn’t hear me. I wish there was a way to see where I was at level wise. I feel to advanced for this and would like it to become more challenging. Honestly, I’d pick Duolingo over this app.
  • Rosetta Stone

    By mvraz
Enjoy using the App Total immersion works for me
  • Better than Duolingo

    By $20OliveGarden
I was put off by the price at first, but after trying Duolingo, I came back here. I much prefer how this says everything out loud, so you can nail the pronunciation. The lessons are better crafted and easier to learn. So happy I get to learn languages through this.
  • Translation

    By Exray82
The images are helpful but and actual translation would be nice.
  • Learning grammar

    By kcowherd
I am enjoying the French language however, I was hoping the app would teach me more of what words mean and using correct grammar. I am somewhat figuring out the meaning using the pictures but it would be nice to have simple definitions of words.
  • Disappointed

    By #brokentoe
Rosetta Stone is a great app! As soon as I got it, I was learning Italian. It gave me a challenge, but also taught me well. I hardly saw any of my language, which was wonderful because it kept me concentrated. However, this greatness was soon smashed. After having like, six lessons, (which added up to about a half hour of learning) I wasn’t able to learn anymore! If I wanted to continue my learning, I had to pay money! The lowest price was $18.00 per month for three months. My mom was not willing to pay, and I had to switch programs. (Apps) That really bummed me. The app I switched to will never be as great as Rosetta Stone. Rosetta Stone is a wonderful app, but of course, money got in the way. If this was fixed, and Rosetta Stone was free, I would definitely switch back to this app.
  • Easy to learn

    By Neight 5
I have wanted to get Rosetta Stone for years.... they had a great deal on it so I finally got it. Duolingo and some other Spanish learning devices a few years ago that were free started charging or you had to wait til the next day if you messed up too many times. If you are like me when you get time to sit down and try to learn a language you don’t want someone telling you sorry you will have to wait. So I paid for this program and I love it!!!! Easy to use and understand!!! Love the conversation sections!!! I would recommend Rosetta Stone to anyone trying to learn a foreign language!!!
  • Rosetta Stone french

I am going to Paris for six weeks I Studied French in college in high school I need a refresher and the Rosetta Stone French app is perfect for me
  • Great App!

    By Hugh,ghgdgjgjydyjk
I have thoroughly enjoyed this app. I had started using it after I learned about the computer program and decided to go mobile. I had been trying to learn Spanish for a while on Duolingo but it really just wasn’t right for me.. I have been using this app for around maybe half an hour and unbelievably already know a lot of basic words like drink, eat, he, she, girl, boy, man, woman, cook, and they. This app is truly amazing and I definitely recommend it!
  • Looked at the purchases I could make

If u want to learn 9 languages it’s 1000 dollars
  • Pretty good

    By JaylenIJ♥️💘♥️
I don’t have a problem with this app just a few little changes.
  • Slow

    By آیدین
Contents are good but the UI and the way you interact with the app is very slow.
  • Great App

Allows pattern learning and speaking for easy memory learnings.
  • Rosetta Stone reveiw

Solid 4/5 stars. The program is easy to use and good for learning pronunciation and conversation. The only problems I have is the voice recognition software malfunctions sometimes, and cannot tell when I am speaking. Also, the writing and kanji part of learning Japanese is covered much less than speaking. This is ok, but I have to look elsewhere to practice my writing.
  • Love Rosetta Stone

    By SexyTye215
I love this, it’s refreshing my French.
  • Good but too pricy.

    By IndiaRubber
If the lifetime price included more than one language it might be worth it, but if I’d known it was per language I definitely would have gone with an alternate learning app...alas, I have to learn Portuguese or my son and wife will start talking smack behind my back!
  • Amazing

    By Bobcamander
Amazing, I’m learning Japanese and I’ve actually progressed a lot in just a little less than an hour, and it makes learning the language that much better, I haven’t gotten spelling down but I can say the basics! This app is amazing and I’d recommend it to anyone who wants to learn a new language! Thank you!
  • The best app

    By Ati09122868570
    The best app
  • Great learning system ...simply wonderful !!!

    By DoreenF.
It is easy to learn a language with visuals, audios and testing. Easy for viewing and corrections. I feel an instructor is with me. It is truly fun too.
  • Very good but

    By Sierrw23
This app is very good my only complaint is that there isn’t an option to buy monthly. I’d rather spend 20$ a month then 54$ every 3 months but that’s just my opinion.
  • Awesome

    By Pacey1
    A lot of fun
  • I love it.

    By Fancynanc you
I like doing the lessons on my phone so much better then on my desktop.

This is an amazing interactive way to learn a new language. I am impressed.
  • Mic

    By picklerick_21212131
I say the word into the mic and it doesn’t copy it
  • Learning every day!

    By HomeTechHandyman
I have been using Rosetta stone for over five years. Due to the cost, I have only used it in frequently with free trials and for fun. Now that I have purchased it I am thoroughly excited and happy. I have never found a language learning software quite as complete as the dynamic learning environment that they teach with. I can’t wait to get to the language writing portion and begin a third language after I am confident with my second language. Thank you Rosetta Stone team!
  • Nice App

    By KstinaDH
It's been helpful to refresh my Spanish. Sometimes the pics are too small on my phone. The mic doesn't always pick up on what is being said.
  • Impressive

    By Kappy Detroit
It is well documented that some individuals have a higher capacity for language learning. I do not fit that model. I have found that Rosetta Stone works well for me, and I am quite pleased.
  • Ugh

    By llama lover subrey o
Soooooooo I wanted to learn a new language so I was like hay maybe it’ll be good but no it doesn’t actually tell you what you are saying you just have to guess off of pictures like I thought la femme in French meant woman but later I found out it meant the woman so change that
  • Not for everyone’s learning style

    By Bikern bikern
This is not the app for you if you do not already know the language. There is no translation, and therefore, you simply guess at pictures without having any idea of what you are saying. I really do not understand why it gets many high ratings. This is an app for a specific type of learning. Please try another such as Duo Lingo or even YouTube.
  • Destiny

    By lorain1478
Ok don’t get me wrong the app is wonderful it helps you speak new languages but don’t you think we should learn how to say and write the alphabet of that language we decided on. The reason why I think that is because that’s how we learned our original language by learning the alphabet so I’m just saying we shouldn’t be learning how to speak another language without learning how to say and write the alphabet. And second sometimes I think that when we are trying to learn a new language instead of a picture it should be converted back in to our own language to understand it better and also sometimes I think the app is fake because I was trying to learn Spanish then I said a word in English and apparently I got it completely correct and that’s what made me suspicious about the app so please take advice from my comment cause you probably will be better off downloading something else or getting a book on learning that language or even going on going to take a course of that language for 6-12 months because I did that and now I know Spanish really wel
  • Black Screen on iPad

    By @docuguy
When you pay $99 for a subscription it should work. IPhone is okay, but on iPad the app won't launch and I get a black screen. I find the iPhone screen too small to see so would prefer using this on the iPad if only it worked.
  • Wow

    By Alistartail
I've tried many apps but many of them don't work for me. This app really helped me understand and speak the language I want to learn. Thank you 🤗
  • My Expirience

    By rtfgcuvugibi
I think this app is a very good outlet. But I think that there are many apps out there that teach you languages the same way, thus explaining my reasons behind a four star rating. Overall this is on my must have educational app list.
  • Rosetta Stone Hebrew

    By The Bromo
I really enjoy the program but it jumps in assuming that I have Hebrew language skills when I have none. I wish it had a really basic lesson at first to give some footing. It jumps in to the deep end too fast.
