    Free Trial EASY LEARNING
  • Why pay when you could get duolingo????

    By me123_i_rate_stuff
This is an ok app.... I don’t really learn a lot from it..... just your everyday “learn a language fast!” Kind of app.... 83$ a year? No Thanks!!!!! I’d rather have Duolingo. I know this is a review for Rosetta Stone but it is just much more difficult and not very easy to use in my opinion..... Duolingo has so much more and you don’t have to subscribe to use it and get all kinds of features unlike this app! It’s free, I barely EVER get any ads and if when I do you don’t have to watch, you can just exit out! No annoying game ads, just education/ college ads etc! Plus, it’s so much more kid friendly and makes it fun for everyone! Unlike Rosetta Stone which is just very indirect and is almost like a robot, Duolingo is mostly free and you can learn multiple languages that interact with you and make you have fun while learning it and personalizing it from what YOU know not what everybody else knows or doesn’t. Sorry but I can’t think of a reason to give this a higher review in my opinion
  • Good, but no mercy on aging eyeballs.

Everything about the appeared is good, except the pictures are too small on my iPhone XS.

I just wish there was an app that could teach different types of sign language
  • Awesome 👌👌👌

I know a little Spanish but I’m learning a lot more from this app great job
  • English subtitles

I wish the native language would show at the same time as the learning language!
  • Get what you pay for

    By lil hatchet o justice
It’s expensive because it’s the best. Very smart. You won’t regret it, even if your pocket book resents it.
  • Disappointed

    By Tjgotthilf
The process to see the translations is not very responsive making it frustrating to use and after the first few lessons, translations are no longer available. I have to use another source to be sure I understand the meanings. Translations should be readily accessible and available for all lessons.

  • It’s P2W

This is pay to win done right! Rather expensive, but you have access to a wide range of vocabulary! Learning a lot through pictures.
  • Great program

    By Drewsky7x
Awesome program that really does help you learn a different language. It can be a little difficult at times, cause you start earning in the language you’ve selected and it doesn’t translate it for you. You learn through picture which actually helps more than translations!
  • Great for those too caught up in specifics. Teaches quickly and effectively.

    By Neirra Greysword
I really love that it’s based on immersion ! I’m happy with my purchase so far, I think I would purchase from Rosetta Stone again sometime down the road!
  • Very effective

    By Lauraiuc
This just works. Pictures, spaced repetition, and gradual introduction of new vocabulary with in the context of existing vocabulary is proven to be the best way to learn a language. This system capitalizes on that.

I’m using the free version. I never knew it existed until I accidentally downloaded the app. I will use this for a few weeks. But in 2 days I have learned enough to make a cute woman smile.

Rosetta Stone uses pictures online to teach you words and asks you to pronounce them. The only issue I have it tells me that my microphone isn’t working properly sometimes. I use the same iPad every time so I don’t understand why. So far it’s an enjoyable way to learn, but I’ve just started.
  • Awesome 😎

    By Ceallach H
I do have been getting the hang of it and enjoying it at the same time!
  • Needs work

    By luna montina
It seems like it expects you to automatically know the words of that language when you don’t because you’re trying to learn it
  • Great

    By sldanka
Just started but it’s very different than any other language learning app!
  • Better then computer.

    By Marissa0202
I have to do this for credits for school and I have to say, it’s more enjoyable on my phone. Besides, Im less likely to get distracted if I’m doing the work on my phone then on the computer. Weird, huh? Anyway I give this a 4 star simply cuz no matter what this app does, I still don’t like spanish. 😂😂
  • Some quirks

    By nickscrazymom
Sometimes when I say the wrong word the app says it’s correct. I’ve also had the app stick when I click on pictures to see a translation...which is a shame because it kind of ruins the flow.
  • Amazing

I am new at this, however I feel like I have learned much faster than anticipated. I am learning French and only doing so because it is something I’ve always wanted to do (not because I have to) and honestly don’t mind having to do it every night. There is repetition but not too much. You learn a word and it is used in multiple ways so you learn it but it’s not through just pure focus on the one word, which keeps the learning process very fluid. I recommend writing notes- and to Rosetta I recommend having a review page for each lesson with just the words/phrases with exact translations at the end of every small lesson. It has been a very enjoyable process so far!

Great review. I’m retaking the course because I was mas o menos fluente but now in old age no longer using español I need to refresh. This is clear and I love the 10 minute lessons
  • I can’t open the app

The app tells me to go back to the store
  • Meaning and Speaking

    By dragonwings12
Why can’t you teach the meaning and go step by step on how to say it -_-
  • Great app but I want to change languages

    By JW Cuppinski
I started learning Hebrew and this is not really the app to do it with. Is there any way to change my subscription to another language without having to pay for it? I bought the lifetime Hebrew and would like to change that if possible. Precisely, I’d like to cancel my Hebrew for Portuguese. Is that even possible? Thanks!

This is a very fun and awesome app I bought the 3 months subscription and I will continue to buy so I can learn Italian and Japanese and French I prefer this app compared to Duolingo app it was not teaching me what I wanted to learn so I purchased Rosetta Stone but there are bugs that need fixing such as when I complete a lesson it goes blank and does not function properly and I also had trouble with downloading lessons for offline as well but overall I love this app

    By maggs3351
I got this app just to look at it for a while and it told me to start an account with my email so I did. I realized that it required money for me to learn German but I didn’t have any so I deleted it, but somehow it still sends me emails! They come all the time and won’t leave me alone even though I have deleted this app. Please stop emailing me.
  • Great learning tool

My wife is Mexican, so I’m obligated to at least give my best shot at learning Spanish. I really enjoy this program and it’s beneficial for everyone. As far as an app goes, it’s not flawless but it’s good enough that it’s reliable. If it gets stuck occasionally, just pause and play and it resumes fine. Switching between units can be easier, but it’s not difficult so no problems here. I took a star off because of a few issues with the language itself. I chose Latin American Spanish, which Mexico is the standard for. A few words like torta is wrong, cake is actually pastel. Also, it’s proper to the point that it’s not conversational. According to my wife, all her friends, her entire family and anyone I casually talk to, many of what I’m being taught is so formal that I’m not learning the “correct” way to converse with regular people. But still, I’m learning 95% correctly, and the pricing is semi reasonable, so 4 stars.

I prefer to learning a language without translating back and forth. I like to learn with pictures to demonstrate the words and listen to the pronunciation

This app is actually great ima chalky learning I had downloaded another app and then I downloaded this and it is WAYYYY better so worth it
  • Great app.

    By Jdc0081
I like the app very much. I appreciate the ability to take the app where ever I go and learn. One problem is the app freezes when I ask for the translation then I have to exit out before I go to the next slide. It only freezes when I ask for translation at the end of the slide.
  • First time

    By Bobbi****b
I assume this curriculum is for people already versed in another language. I understand the connection between the picture and what it’s telling me but most of the images do not have the translation imbedded. I can choose the correct image through process of elimination but am not grasping sentences without the translations. If you try the free trial and have ANY concerns if this app is right for you DO NOT PURCHASE! They will not honor the 30 day refund Rosetta often offers. Glad i only lost $50.

  • I like it

    By logan1733
Pretty good with basics the one thing I don’t like is that you have to push a button to see the translation
  • French lessons

I love this program because I am a visual learner. I took a little Spanish years ago, not at all fluent, which is helping me to catch on with the pleural and masculine/femanine rules. I am not sure if this program would be too fast for me if I hadn’t seen these rules before. For me it is awesome and I am learning very fast, I love it! I would recommend it for anyone who has taken another language before or for anyone who is a fast learner. I wouldn’t recommend it for my 70 year old mom because she wouldn’t get it without all the little details spelled out. Hope this is helpful.
