  • Extremely Poor Customer Service

    By Shdhfbhx
Don’t bother downloading this. There is absolutely NO customer service. No phone number to call and just an email you can send that no one cares to respond to. My account was compromised and literally cannot get ANY help. Data breach liability claim waiting to happen!
  • Awful online tax filing service

    By irritated tax payer
I just spent the last half hour filing my taxes online just to find out that I can’t finish filing without an agi number I don’t have. So now I need to go down to the nearest H&R Block and spend a good chunk of my money to have someone else do what I just did, since I don’t need an agi number, to file in person. Ridiculous. If you want to file taxes online don’t waste your time with this junk. You get what you pay for.
  • Life saving

    By wiltzDinheiro87
I never knew I was that bad a Victim-and-a-1/2, until Credit Karma opened my eyes😲👀. Since than I’ve been back tracking dates, checking addresses, double checking Accounts and disputing. Though I’ll never be sure if It could’ve been Scammers or False close-friends who put me in this Pit, I’m just glad I’d gotten the “CK App” 💯👌🏾🙏🏾
  • The older app was far better.

    By krissweep
The app used to have a spot where you could estimate your score by paying down debt and for the life of me I can’t find it. I did find a hundred things about signing up for loans and credit cards. Wish I could go back to the old version.
  • Need more credit offerings

    By Asia Lovey
I LOVE Credit Karma! I only wish they had more diverse credit card option. As my credit score gets better, I keep getting offers from Capital One. I have two cards already and when I accepted an offer they (Credit Karma via email) recently sent me, I was declined based on having too many Capital One cards. I have no problems with my Capital One cards, the app makes it so easy to manage and pay my balances. The in app reviews seem to be spot on so make sure you take the time to read them before accepting offers. They seem to be partnered with a company that offers credit but the reviews are pretty much “consumer beware” I’m glad to have Capital One in my wallet so if your looking for a go to card with awesome reviews on rebuilding your credit, they are a good place to start. I recently also started receiving auto financing offers from a company that basically sells their cars via a vending machine concept. The reviews are absolutely horrible and the cars are severely overpriced. It is my opinion that some partnerships are just not a good fit for Credit Karma. Someone with bad credit would have a better chance of getting a better deal at a lemon lot or car auction. Credit Karma has helped me set reachable credit goals. I just wish there were better in app credit offerings as ones scores improve.
  • Unresponsible

    By Argjendberisha

  • Somebody please help‼️‼️

    By gjhnvf
Idk why for some reason I’m having trouble on step 2 of signing in it keeps saying that my social is wrong but is not and all the info is correct
  • Wish it would work

    By Mr.speed2000
Sadly won’t allow me to see my credit and tells my info is wrong, although all of it is correct
  • Their system is down way too much and it is shady at the least!

    By Madetunv
Why is your system down 5 out of 7 days per week? You blamed me having an old phone (I have and Apple XR), you blamed me using my phone (it’s still down when I use my computer), you blamed my lack of updating my computer and phones (I sent screen shots of my devices’ statuses). What is going on with your systems? Have you truly been compromised that bad and STILL hiding it?
  • Great app but I can’t log in

    By Jscreed
I love this app and have used for a long time and depended on it to help me with my credit score and works perfectly. Lately I cannot log in no matter what I do. Have contacted support and still have had no response. Very disappointed with support!
  • Good app, trouble logging in

    By ajcardsfan07
For some reason I can log in on my iPad and a desktop with the same password but even after deleting and reinstalling and checking for caps lock it says it’s an incorrect password
  • Won't let me sign up

    By dlee3596
Tried to sign up and says something is wrong on sign up page. Nothing is wrong so I guess there is no way to sign up.
  • Truly Transformative!

    By MarcusBNYC
This app has been truly transformative and has taught me everything about credit. Everything I grew up “knowing” about credit was wrong, and this app helped me build my score up from 594 to qualifying for CC’s with no pre-set limit on them. The App Store is full of apps that for you entertainment or social media stalking, but this was truly one that taught me how to be a better, fiscally responsible adult. A broker first told me to go on it when I didn’t know what my credit score is (my first sign of weak credit). I kept getting turned down for rental apartments in NYC and this app help me position myself to be more self sufficient and independent by showing me how to build up my credit. And the Suggested CC recommendations never failed me. Not once. Shout out to capital one for giving me a CC when no one else would!
  • Most useful free credit app

    By SonOfRicerX
I’ve been using Credit Karma for almost five years. There are other choices obviously. However CK is the only free credit app I’ve found that displays both Transunion and Equifax reports. Most free credit apps typically only show the Transunion report. I’ve yet to find a free credit app that shows the Experian report. That being said signing up for an Experian Creditworks Basic account is free and gets the user a free copy of their Experian report once every 30 days. Creditworks Basic also allows items on the Experian report to be disputed directly. Signing up for a Transunion TrueIdentity account allows disputing report items directly with Transunion rather than relying on CK’s Direct Dispute channel with Transunion. To dispute items on Equifax reports one needs to sign up for a free MyEquifax account. Between the Experian Creditworks basic once every 30 days report updates and CK’s once per week updates on Transunion and Equifax you can keep an eye on your credit picture without spending any money. Be aware CK uses the Vantage 3.0 scoring model which is not widely adopted by the majority of the lending industry. Experian scores your report with a FICO 8 number, rather than Vantage 3.0, which while more useful is also not widely considered by most lenders either. To find all your FICO scores you will have to bite the bullet and spend ~$60 USD on MyFICO dot com to get all three credit reports and all FICO scores calculated against all three reports. Older FICO scoring models like 3, 4, 5 or 6 (as examples) are used by specific credit industries for lines of credit such as home mortgages, auto loans or unsecured revolving credit cards. There is no law that requires any given lending industry to use a specific scoring model. Consider your FICO8 and Vantage 3.0 scores as rough estimates of where you stand and as long as these scores trend up or stay steady nothing bad has happened. If something bad does happen to cause your scores to trend down that’s when TU TrueIdentity, Equifax MyEquifax and Experian Creditworks Basic become very useful to have already setup. Best of luck to everyone playing this credit worthiness game.
  • Problems disputing

When i try to dispute something, i get to the end and push “continue” and ironically, nothing happens!! The continue button does not work dor me at all! But the “cancel” button sure works!
  • User interface useless for unusual cases

    By DABB111111
While the idea is great, the app is not thought through at all for non-standard cases, In other words: badly tested. As a foreigner living in the US, I have US credit cards, and address, but no SSN (only an old ITIN). So I do have a credit rating as well. But then, without SSN, you’re stuck in the middle of the sign-up process. You cannot go back, you cannot go ahead. :-( You have no added value. But CK has your data and will certainly use it for their gain. You cannot even delete your account at that stage. Really?!
  • No access

    By SandraMont
Neither the App or website is allowing me to access my account. Has been like this for a couple months now. I have even reset my password and still says, “ Oops, something went wrong while trying to perform your request. Try again later. We appreciate your feedback.”
  • Frustrated

    By GrandmaD9399
I’m so frustrated with CK. When I get an email that there’s an update on my credit score, all I get when trying to log in is that there’s a ‘system error’. I keep trying to log in at least 5 times a day, every day, then give up after a week. I then let about a week go by and try again, same thing. CK fix this your ‘System error’ or I’m taking my business elsewhere!!!! 😡
  • Good to have

    By Alice408
I love it..been building my credit for a year now and it’s finally in good standing thanks to credit carmaker guidance. The downfall is it takes long to update when I do pay something off
  • App works 1/2 of the time

    By Sho dawg
App works 1/2 of the time. Says “Credit Karma not accessible at this time”, I reset password and now it says password incorrect. I login in with the password just fine on the website.
  • Totally useless

    By W1JET
As a regular international traveler I quite often have the need to show my credit score and this app can’t do it. My online banking works, LifeLock works, PayPal works, but not this. The system is obviously not up to the standard of the others. When I inquired about this problem the answer was”Well you can use it in the States.” Wow, that helps a lot!!!
  • Something else...

    By JesseM04
Credit Karma is a must get. The updates are fast and reliable. The information packed into this app is amazing, car loan, home loan, and credit simulations are helpful. The app itself is user friendly. Thanks for everything Credit Karma.
  • Informative & user-friendly application

    By Daniel S. Abrahamian
More reasons than not to invest space in this application. Recommended.
  • Good but ........

    By Amanda Fetaui
Credit Karma is good for tracking your scores and any payments or accounts that have been added to include collections etc. I left it a star short ONLY because I’ve opened up a new credit card to help my score go up and have been making multiple payments when I use it to keep the usage down but Credit Karma doesn’t update quick enough and says they’re waiting for the company to update yet, on other apps I use shows that the credit card company already reported that I have made payments but Karma doesn’t show it and it’s been over a month. Otherwise, it’s a good app. It’s always good to have another credit app as an alternative to compare.
  • Can not access my account!

Numerous attempts on multiple days. Error messages, saying an account already exists, then saying no account matches my records, then saying my email is not correct but I am getting emails to the same email about my account from credit Karma. So frustrating I really need some assistance with this.
  • Very Good and Easy to Use

    By Mick Gator Fan
There are limitations, though, because it only shows you one type of credit score for Equifax and Transunion. There are other types of credit score, such as the one used for car loans. You will need to find the other scores elsewhere, such as the individual credit bureaus. The offers are not organized in a useful way. More filters would be nice. For example, show me credit cards that are MasterCard with balance transfer deals. Now you have to look at Visa, AmEx, and Discover cards, too.
  • No help

    By Lyann1
I have been needing help for over 2 weeks already I have send multiple emails to y’all and I still get no reply back!!!! Is there not any were I can talk to a real person!! This is beyond crazy that you get no help when u need it!!!

  • Inaccurate Credit Score

    By Kinskin
For those of you actually wanting a true representation of your credit score, please do not use this app or site. I was made to believe that my credit score improving, when In actuality it had not done so. Use another source of credit reporting. I was made to believe that my score was 750. When I went to the bank to get a loan switched over to my name, it was denied because my actual score was 591. Not only was I disappointed, I was embarrassed. Had I known that my score was still low, I wouldn’t have made the loan inquiry.
  • Great app but

    By DaynaDarlin
The app is a few months behind on balances. I use this to monitor my income to debt ratio and I am having to refigure account balances. Things paid off don’t show zero balances for months. Updates on loans have not been done for over 2 months. Not liking that. Otherwise good app.
  • Amazing app!

    By Justinsane711
Great app! Being able to monitor my credit with responsible spending I've went from a low 500 score to over 730! Credit Karma suggested a citibank credit card, which I applied for and just got approved for $11,000. Thank you to all the devs!!!❤️
  • Does this app ever work?

    By Fggufggfhgfgdugdjcg
Since installing a couple of days ago, the app has NEVER worked. All I get is an error about my account. I would give zero stars if it were possible.
  • Great Credit Monitoring Tool

    By Score700
Great tool for free! It tracks all hardline inquiries , on time payments & you can file disputes easily through the credit bureaus. It is an Amazing credit monitoring tool! I absolutely loved it ❗️❗️
  • Unable to login from overseas

    By Traveler200
You won't be able to login from overseas, people from CreditKarma strongly believes Americans don't travel, so they simply blocked non-US IPs. What a smart company!
  • I just don’t understand

    By HunterEnny
I’ve heard so much about credit karma, and how it works well but when I go to put in my information, it says something is wrong and I have to double check everything. But, when I double check, everything is right. I’ve never had so much trouble, so many issues signing up for something that’s suppose to be “simple”.
  • Inconsiderate Design

    By whiskybywire
Here, yet again, is another that pretends iPads don’t exist. If you’re not familiar with this, it’s an app clearly designed exclusively for an iPhone. It won’t use available screen space and it only supports one orientation. What made me uninstall it was something that happened during setup. I switched apps to look up a piece of information it asked for. When I switched back, the information I had already entered was gone. The app makes clearly don’t care about their users.
  • Not working

    By mokid098
    Email does not match password
  • Inaccurate credit scores

    By LonesomeOak
I’ve learned that the credit score they report to you is actually over 100 points less than the actual credit score you have, in my case. When questioned they gave me a line about some complicated formula they use bla bla bla. I applied twice for credit and found out my actual score was nowhere near what they reported to me from the same credit agency. And they are always trying to convince you to apply for a sponsors credit card based on your erroneous score. They have actually hurt my credit score because of there falsifying numbers. Scam!
  • App stinks

    By Thomas Symons
Your app stinks to high heaven. I can’t log in on the app, but logging in on the web page is not a problem. So much for convenience.
  • Glaringly Bright Review!

    By titan511
As much as I like the ability to easily access my finagling financial figures that are flailing as I attempt to finance my future... a #DarkMode option would do much to soften the visual blows of my damaged dangling dollars. Formal Request: Please add a DARK MODE!
  • Doesn’t Work Outside US

    By RaymondAZ
I move briefly outside US and it stopped working. Not very helpful when you want to track your score, among others, outside US.
  • Your info didn’t match

    By ndndnsgs a
Keep getting the error message your record doesn’t match our credit bureau
  • Scan card not working

    By Mellow brew
When it tells me to take a picture of my id I do what it says and it still doesn’t take a picture of my card!!!!! This is so frustrating! GOTTA FIX THIS BUGGGG SMH I spent a whole hour doing it and still wouldn’t work ..... im sure this is a grate app but fix the bug can’t even use this app 🤦‍♂️unbelievable!!!
  • Never works.

    By JRLawyer2
This app worked great at first. But for the last several weeks, I get a system error message every time I try to log in. I can still access my account on an actual computer, but the app not so much.
  • Inflated Credit Scores Beware

    By The 649
I have been using Credit Karma for the past three years and Credit Karma is constantly indicating that you qualify for a personal loan that can save you interest. It states that you can check now with no impact on your score. Both scores on Credit Karma shows 800 plus respectively. After applying you receive multiple email notifications and regular mail indicating that you do not qualify for lack of credit, insufficient credit activity and history etc.. In addition, both credit agencies that Credit Karma shows/uses have my credit score showing 90 points less respectively. I know in their verbiage they indicated that each agency uses it’s own scoring system. My concern with Credit Karma is that it is misleading when it comes to displaying accurate credit scores and it appears as if scores are inflated whereby consumers can feel that they have good scores to apply for products being offered on Credit Karma. If you are going to collect our data and provide misleading scores to create a false positive for us to apply for credit/loans whereby the advertisers will pay you then you should be upfront and truthful with your credit scoring. Be ware of the inflated credit scores on Credit Karma.
  • Scores are way off.

    By Rahim_b
Compare your scores with the Experian app which is an actual credit bureau and you will see how far off credit karma is. Don’t rely on it as your only score monitor.
