I love this app! It helps with my work life. Being able to have access directly on my iWatch has been such a great feature.
  • Happy so far

The app does what it’s supposed to and I’m happy with it so far.
  • Adore this app

    By Courtmichell3
I'm a flight attendant & love to track how many miles & hours I work over the course of my career! I want to be able to separate work & personal travel, but other than that it's great. I've gotten a lot of other flight attendants to download the app & start tracking their stats as well!
  • Confusing app

    By confused/annlyed
Hard to look for and follow basic travel info. To many messages prior to flight take off to review and clear. Stick getting this one because it looks like all the others have stopped making updates. I want to be reminded of flight take off and arrivals and what gates. As well be able to send info to family. This can send but I’m not sure how it looks when it does. Not user friendly at all. I hope they fix to Hebe a better experience. I travel a lot and I don’t find this app useful but again forced to use because my other ones faded out updates. I could go on and on about negatives, but I usually don’t do reviews.
  • Terrific App

Aggregate all your travel into one place and gives real time notifications on currently flights while traveling
  • Love the stats

    By Your name in lights
But can I ask for one more stat? I want to know how many hours of my life I have wasted due to delays. Make a stat board for it so we can all cry together with the most delayed person in the world.

This application is very good and very useful Thank you
  • New Travel Companion

    By MuscleInk
Started using App in the air this week. Using unpaid version and still contemplating a paid upgrade (not sure if I will use the paid features to justify the expense). Longtime user of TripIt; both share similar features although the alerts appear to be more real time with App in the Air.
  • No Delta?

    By Worriedme
Looks like a great app. I almost bought the lifetime subscription but I can’t find my primary airline - Delta.
  • Good travel app

    By Heather Higdon
    Easy to use
  • Not an improvement from existing tools

    By blue hawk
I was stoked to try this out. I’ve flown 250K+ miles in the last few years across many different airlines. It’s a bit of a pain to log every flight manually as well as remember to check in to flights. I thought App in the Air would be the one stop shop I was looking for. Unfortunately it misses pulling in the occasional flight, doesn’t include some aircraft information so I have to go to flightaware and openflights anyway. I splurged on the auto check in since I thought it would be extremely useful. From my experience it doesn’t work at all. Also, the very most popular US airline loyalty programs are not available. I’m sure there’s a good reason for it but at this point, it’s not useful to me.
  • Very useful!

    By Carlos Borromeo
Has very helpful features and syncs nicely with my flight schedules.
  • Traveler

    By jjplaw
Which it would call out arrival and connecting gates.
  • Loves it

    By modelmommi
As an international DJ I find this app super useful and it lets me know the gate and other important info easily. I have not had the best luck checking in with it but I think it's about how flights are booked. I love all the other features as well and it makes me happy to see how long I've spent travelling, miles and badges and milestones.
  • Worth the price

    By Bringcurrentsback
This app keeps all my flights under control, can auto check-in on some airlines and is always up to date with any delays. Best air travel app I’ve used since the dearly departed Blackberry Travel app.
  • Just works

    Makes life a lot easier
  • Great app

    By laceycaye
    I’m enjoying using this!
  • Simple and handy

    By Mojolani
I really like that I can use this app for my Apple watch. Wish I could do more on the watch but the app on my phone allows to do much more. The app for the Apple Watch is simple and easy to use. When I land I can easily click and see where I’m going next.
  • Great app

    By Faulkton
This app has changed the way I travel in the same way Google maps changed the way I drive & tivo changd TV. I can't go back. Paired with a watch and this is unstoppable. What gate & terminals, airport maps and lounges.
  • Amazing app

    By Delf_05
    Saves everything
  • Good app. Helps me keep track of all my flights.

    By Derpoet
I find the app does lots of good things. I fly lots of different airlines, and it keeps me organized. The only thing I would streamline, and I’m not the only one who has said this, is a function while I am making transfers. I want one screen that says “You are arriving on flight xxxx at gate xxxxx. Your next flight is xxxx departing for xxxx from gate xxxx in xxxx minutes.” All that information is in the app, it’s just not super easy to get to. And if it was on my Apple Watch that would be even better. On the watch you’d just need the next flight, the gate, and a countdown timer.
  • My goto travel app

    By Iflysims
It has quickly become my favorite and most reliable travel app. Most native airline apps do a good job with check in / gate update but fail with code share flights. It doesn’t matter what codeshare you are on if the flight is in the app it will tell you where the gate is. You do need to connect either to free WiFi or use data plan but as long as you connected you get updates. While some reviewers want more customizable app it gives you the info you need when you need it and hasn’t let me down yet.
  • Very Intuitive App

    By Strawberry Ice Cream
Very nicely laid out and designed app. I’ve been through quite a few of these flight tracker apps and this is hands down the best I’ve used. Very good support too. I reached out to customer support with a small question and one of the co-founders got right back to me. You don’t get that every day! Nice to know they have your back. Bob
  • Annoying

    By bbsh54321
since it popped out 5 times in 1 minute when I am using it to search for a trip. I have to rate it low for such annoying artificial intelligence behavior.
  • Great app but too pricey

    By dudekato
I really like using this app and would like the Pro version but I don’t travel all that much and the $50 lifetime price is a bit too steep for my budget.
  • Super handy!

Best thing is that it integrates all the air travel into your calendar and reminds you to sign in online for your seats! Great app
  • Sweet

    By FeefNutz
Picks up all my flight information from my email account automatically. Sweet!
  • Lack of customization hurts app

    By computer savage
This app does some things well but falls way short in giving paying customers control over the types of info displayed throughout the app and in notifications. For example, you will receive gate change notifications 48 hours before your flight (when gates are completely irrelevant). There is no way to change when you receive gate change notifications, or whether you want to receive them at all. Another thing is the 3D Touch info. It could be so useful, but it shows time left to “check in” rather than time til boarding. The I go displayed when 3D touching the app icon should be customizable. Finally, the auto-check in feature doesn’t appear to work and there is no info on how it works. No way to trust this feature or configure it.

  • Love this APP

    By Rinod61
Wish it was more like 3 d about the part with the plane map, even though I still enjoy. Thumbs up big time.
  • Started out well but showing problems over time

    By VariableChart
Two major problems with flight details extraction the app and one minor problem with usability 1. Flight parsing and details are not extracted reliably. It extracted flights that were from 2017 and marked them for 2018 2. It’s missed flights and worse it jumbled up the flights to and from 3. It doesn’t show passenger list so it’s hard to figure out whose flight it is some times
  • Very Good.

    By aubreylea
    I would recommend.
  • Great app

    By ASAPDan
Love it, the stats are fun. Would love more loyalty participation.
  • Excellent app

    By Nakhoda
Very helpful app for traveling and keep a track of the travel history
  • Needs work

    By soundneedle
Really hate having to sign up for notifications for each and every flight. Also should be able to easily select specific alerts. Needs global alert preferences badly.
  • Why the new(ish) icon?

    By funkmaztermox
App has been very cool for a few years. Phone and iPad never merge properly but that’s a small nitpick. I haven’t updated the app recently because the new black icon gets lost in a sea of other apps on my phone. I prefer the window shade icon I have now.
