    Doesn’t work with iPad Pro 12.9. Constantly gets errors over WiFi. Unwatchable. Unusable. Logs you out of account after every episode. When you try to log back in it gives “use is logged in through proxy already”. Uninstalled, reinstalled, force quit, restarted iPad multiple times. Still same error. No way to log back in to account I paid money for. Will be disputing charges with CC for services not rendered.

    I just started using STARZ and I do love everything but how some of the controls work. Maybe it’s just my phone but I do have a new I phone. The fast forward doesn’t work very well and it keeps bringing me back to other episodes that I’ve already previously watched. Other than that I love STARZ!

    I was on my 3rd day of my (7 day day FREE trial) as with any subscription even if you get a free trial you have to CANCEL it before the trial ends so you don’t get charged. THIS APP makes it ALMOST impossible to UNSUBSCRIBE. The Number on the website is an ACTUAL scam that doesn’t work. I’m on IPHONE and the robot/instructions tell you to go to SETTINGS/ITUNES/APPLE ID/ SUB.. ETC the app doesn’t show up there not just for me FOR EVERYONE. you have to go to where ever you Subscribed from ( which for one is DUMB but obviously it’s to make it harder FOR ANYONE TO CANCEL) I figured it out because I’m 18 years old and I have my ways with technology but I’m sure even the younger people would have trouble canceling. AS FOR older people never in ONE HUNDRED YEARS would they find a way to cancel. The APP charges you $8 and then when you finally see it in your bank account you’re able to unsubscribe. A LEGAL SCAM is what this is. YOU SHOULD ALL BE ASHAMED OF THIS COMPANY. ( ALSO don’t get fooled by the TEXT colors when trying to cancel they also use that to fool you.

    The app looks so far so so good since I am new to this subscription. My only issue is when I go back to watching my show, it doesn’t save were I left off. It plays previous episodes I already saw when i click play at the top.

    I have DirecTV and even though it says DirecTV is a provider for the app, I cannot log in at all. I’ve deleted and re-downloaded the app multiple times, but I cannot get it. Please provide assistance.

  • Clunky & Rarely Works

    The iPad app is ill-developed, not user-friendly, only works in landscape, and downloaded programs often do not work. Downloads are deleted randomly. It is so ridiculous and frustrating. Out of all of the streaming apps (e.g., Netflix, HBO, Showtime, Amazon, etc) this is BY FAR the absolute worst.

    In an era when a new TV channel appears about once a month, the original content on STARZ is as good as any competitor and better than some. The existing content chosen is also excellent. My only suggestion: could we please have a Marvel Comic movie review?

    Almost makes the subscription not worth it. How is it possible to force your customer to also watch an ad before every single video they watch? Slow, unintuitive, and basically just awfully developed and conceptualized. Am quitting my subscription due to the app and continuing with only Netflix and Disney +.

    I don’t understand how this late in the game STARZ has such a terrible app. The interface isn’t good but the part that is most frustrating to me is that it’s nearly impossible to fast forward or rewind a show/movie. Dragging the bar at the bottom does not work to rewind/fast-forward, it just freezes the video then you have to hit pause then hit play for it to jump back to where you started from. I’ve had to use the 10-second jump feature to fast forward or rewind large parts of a video. And the best part is, when hitting the 10-second jump repeatedly, instead of rewinding/fast-forwarding 10-seconds, it only goes 6-seconds. I’m not paying for a streaming app where the basic features don’t work. The ability to rewind/fast-forward is something I’ve always taken for granted because no other streaming service has a problem with this, it’s such a basic functionality. I just paid for the first month after a free trial, but this is not worth it and I’ll be cancelling. There’s way too many other options with good content out there to pay for an app that has a lazy, outdated interface and lacks basic functionality.

    I wish I could hit just 1 button to skip the recap and the intro. It’s so annoying to have to push the 10 second fast forward (which isn’t actually 10 seconds). And if I want to fast forward with the timeline, it doesn’t give a preview like Netflix does. I only tolerate it because I have 1 show I watch on it. Otherwise, I would cancel for sure.

    I am able to log in to other premium channels using my ATT U-verse log in but not Starz. I get an error saying provider is not supported but it is on the provider list.

    At first I thought the app was a lost opportunity to the latinos living in the US and its territories, but that’s changed. Ever since the most recent version the STARZ app gained support for various languages in the app, and the option to select the audio and subtitles. This feat used to be reserved only for Roku and Android TV. Way to go STARZ. The app has improved too. It feels snappier.

    I see stars is the only company that has good times I love good Times that’s pretty much all I watch is the old shows. I like A team,jeffersons. The Andy Griffin show I’ll give it five stars as long as I can see though so I’m happy with STARZ and I get to look at some movies too

    Never saves where I’m exactly at in an episode. I will pause close the app and come back to it being in a different spot then where I left an episode. I waist a lot of time trying to find where I’m at again. So now I try to watch till the end of an episode so I know where I’m at. Inconvenient.

    The app has a way of not showing the cancel button area. I have an ipad and an iPhone no matter what device i log into the cancel area is not there. When you go to the desktop site it jumps to the app so you cant cancel. I was charged even though I managed to cancel my subscription last Saturday they charged me today. Read fine print no refund policy. I canceled a day ahead of time and they kept charging my cash app card until someone sent me $20 they managed to charge me as soon as there was money available.

    The pause / play has trouble occasionally, and after watching (binging) for about 10 days a pop up window opened that stated It couldn’t stream on more than 4 devices at any one time. After reading on line I found a quick fix by deleting and reinstalling the app. Hopefully this bug can be fixed in the future. The app doesn’t open and keep the spot you were in your selected show some of the time. It’s random, weird.

    I got the STARZ app to watch Outlander seasons 3-4. I’ve had nothing but problems with it glitching and having problems loading. It takes me forever just to watch one episode. Wish this could be fixed and it would be a good app.
