You want us to pay $48 for a few games on our phone that we may play in the past time? ...really?
  • Absolutely intriguing!

I love the challenges and way better than any other app even though I do not play games on my phone! Well worth it and would recommend it to anyone!

Subscription options are over priced and auto renewed. Games are not worth it.

Please fix background of game called masterpiece. it’s too dark to enable any visible difference between geometric shapes and their proper placements. Thanks, otherwise, for a wonderful game.

Lumosity is a treasure. It is so engaging. So so engaging! Playing Lumosity feels like exploring your Brian labyrinths with a bright torch. It’s such a happy way of learning. I never imagined that learning can be this fun!

There is something wrong in the last paragraph. There should be two corrections. I got the first one, but there does not seem to be a way to get the second. It seems that science fiction is incorrect, but it is not accepted as incorrect, and nothing else works when tried.
  • I like it very much

It is really fun. I like how the ask how you are feeling at the begging of your training, but I don’t like the amount of stuff that is a premium only thing.

I think you should give directions before a game has to be played each time. It’s nice to know what it is testing but if you aren’t sure about what you are supposed to do it’s frustrating.

  • Not technically free

I like the concept of this app. But out of 50+ games, the free download only gets you 3. And premium is not cheap. For students like me, we need these brain exercises but hope it was not at a cost! So I would say, waste of time downloading the app.

I love this app and it really helps just get my mind working. It’s definitely worth a try if not a premium subscription.

  • It’s Really Good, But too expensive

The game itself seems really good! The games are interesting, it’s challenging, and fun! However, there is a MAJOR flaw; you have to pay 12$ a month if you actually want to give your brain a challenge! I think this is way too much, not to mention I’m not old enough to pay that every month. I think there should at least be 5 games every day, or maybe 3 new games every 3-4 hours or something like that. I want to challenge my brain, but those 3 games just aren’t enough.

I liked the look of Lumosity, until they said it costs $47.00 to have the premium. I was so exited to think that it was free. Great game, but maybe rethink the cost. Maybe make It free to those who don’t have money. Or are kids who are trying to learn because their parents refuse to teach.
  • Stressful

For a game that’s supposedly a mind strengthening exercise I found it nothing but stressful. Another beat the clock type of game that I can’t be bothered with.

I am a trauma victor, with this, I have lost a big portion of my short term memory- remembering names and passwords are hard. Lumosity helps me exercise my brain- like any other muscle in my body. I love it!

I would recommend these games for everyone, (young and old especially). These are the kind of exercises you need to do daily to keep your brain and motor skills firing on all cylinders.
  • Great brain exercise!

I’ve noticed over the years my brain isn’t as quick as it used to be and in looking for games to work my brain I came across Lumosity. I only played the free version a few times before deciding to buy an annual subscription. I play through most of the sets they have and then play some more just for fun. I’ve recently started listening to the mindfulness sessions as well and find them to be calming and helpful as well. I try not to spend a lot of time playing silly games on my phone but I don’t find this one silly at all! Thank you to everyone that makes Lumosity and I look forward to playing new games as they come out! Yes some of the games aren’t as challenging as others and some seem like they could use a tweak or two but I’m sure someone is working on that and I will continue to leave my reviews and suggestions when prompted to do my part! I hope come renewal time I will find another deal because I’m not the type to spend money on a game like this but this was really a Christmas present from my husband who kept telling me to get the full game! Thanks again Lumosity creators!

You shouldn’t need to pay to train your brain. That is what college is for.
  • good fun but that’s all it should be

    By Ugh_Its_Bryson
these games cannot make you smarter, no matter what they say. it’ll train your brain sure, but only on the activities they show. also a lot of these games have to do with color, and as a color blind person i find it difficult to distinguish a lot of these colors. but i love brain games and if you do, you’ll probably like this game
  • So annoying!

I hate this game I don’t know why but it never loads, I have a iPad Pro Air and I got it last Christmas! So it’s not like it’s old and I keep trying to download it and it won’t let me get on. I am so glad it is free. Cause it would be a waste of money!!! 🙄 But it looks so fun so it’s kinda a bummer.
  • it’s a good game for your brain, but one problem

i just got this app today because i saw this on a ad, and i thought i can train my brain a bit. and i trained my brain, i was shocked that i could do that stuff that i thought i couldn’t do! but the premium is way too expensive!! i don’t pay stuff from games because i thought it’d be a waste of money, i don’t know why you have to pay so much for a game. but this isn’t a game. this is a app that trains your brain and doing better with your brain. but, it wouldn’t be fair for other people to use this app, and they couldn’t afford that much. i think the price would have been lower, like maybe... 5 dollars a month and 15 dollars for a year. that could be a great deal if you ask me. well, i’m not asking you to actually do it. i just recommended you to do that if you want to. sorry for wasting your time from reading this, have a great day!
  • Miss the whole screen trophy

    By Jax_Lady, Florida
I really like the app except one change. Now when I get a highest score I don’t get the whole screen (large) trophy. It’s just a small one to the left of the score on the screen. I’d work towards the larger/ full screen trophy’s. It gave me a goal to work towards.....seeing the big trophy. It gave me satisfaction. Now I don’t get as much satisfaction from playing a new game or getting better at an old one. Please bring them back....
  • AWESOME GAME

I love this game so much I love how much detail goes into each individual level to make the game fantastic! I also love how you can feel yourself feeling getting into zen mode! I LOVE IT
  • Love the app but not the price

I love this app, but I can not pay a monthly fee for any sort of app. It would be nice if you could at least replay games from the past few days on the free version.

Love the app! However there is no way to allow music to play continuously while playing games (train of thought in particular) and I would like to listen to music while playing this game.
  • Physician Rating of App - TrueMedicine

    5
    By DocGolf72
As a physician, I’m always looking for better methods to help my patients. Modern society is causing a tremendous amount of stress for the unaware, which is leading them towards serious health problems. This App is helping my patients improve their mindfulness and mental acuity. Regular training with this app is becoming a weapon against the ills and pressures suffered by those who are active within modern society.

You get three games without spending money. -Memorizing patterns -Directing trains to their station (which trains your attention) -Differentiating from word meaning and color of the word with a time limit There’s also a mindfulness part, which is nice. It trains your brain for a day or two, but after that it can get monotonous. There’s many more games and it personalizes the games if you get premium, but if you aren’t planning on spending money, it isn’t recommended. Seems like it would be a good app if you got premium, however. Also, you must be 13 to play. Just thought I’d put this in.
  • Need more games

I’ve done Lumosity going on 3 years. The middle one I paid for and I used quite a bit. Almost got addictive, the trains! I enjoyed the math. Hated the English ones, just my choice, but I learned and tried them once in a while. Had trouble with and didn’t feel like pursuing the meditation parts. I got better and hit a plateau with most of the games, speed and logically. Agree that the beach one I did not choose in Premium. All in all, I enjoy and would recommend for use on iPad. My challenge is to remember to play each day! 66 and aging fast!

The app says that it is for 4+ but I tried to make an account and as an 11 year old they said I wasn't eligible to make an account. I thought this would a great thing for in between doing homework, but I guess I won't know.

I have a closed head frontal lobe injury from an automobile accident Nov 27, 2006. It was described to me as similar to Shaken Baby Syndrome. My memory, especially short term is very impaired. My car flipped several times, mangling my arm to where it had to be amputated along with part of the shoulder socket.

I got this because our daughter thought it would be good for us. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is I’m still learning it, and my way around it, but it looks to be pretty incredible!

This app has taught me how to interact with my surroundings and train my brain to all sorts of things. At first the game was annoying and hard, but when I kept playing it I felt smarter and smarter. I am know better and problem solving than I ever was, and my flexibility, memory, and attention boosted. I love this app and I wouldn’t change anything about it!
