  • Great look. Not so great performance.

    By Thunder Abraham
My app consistently has a massive issue with updating times of notifications. If I switch it from AM to PM and or change the actual time it doesn’t update on the first 3-4 tries. This gets so annoying and frustrating when I am on the go and need the app to actually be responsive and aid in my productivity.
  • Love this app!

    By Lyndzee13
My favorite calendar app yet. I just wish they would add more views. 😔
  • CarPlay support needed

    By HawkEye1194
    Please add CarPlay support.
  • Love your apps but having problems

    By davbran
How do I prevent Fantastical on Mac and iPhone and iCloud from creating duplicates? I checked support but there is no article or link to ask for help. A lot of money to find no one there when I need it. That’s where the one star went, no real support.
  • Okay, but glitchy

    By RLSinSF
Have reviewed a previous version of this app before, but a recent update caused a new and bigger problem. My individually scheduled items (not the recurring ones, but one-time entries) in the past disappeared when I accepted the updated version. This is a huge problem, because I regularly need to look back at previous client appointments when booking new appointments. Why would they think this is acceptable? At the very least, you should be warned in advance. Awful.
  • Very efficient app, but needs more personalization

    By KT@WNY
I moved to this Calendar from using the Google Calendar. Fantastical 2 is definitely faster thus more efficient, but they need to offer the ability to personalize it with color coding events, like the Google Calendar. I would also appreciate the ability to input the location of events so that it syncs with my navigation system. I’m new to this calendar app, so hopefully these features are available and I just don’t know how to fully take advantage of it yet. Overall, so far this is the best Calendar app I’ve seen!
  • Smarter and quicker than Siri

    By Alpine Meadows
Fantastical 2 is my go-to app for creating appointments and reminders and for looking them up. It understands natural language much better than Siri.
  • Easier to use than Apple Calendar

    By Phaser34523432
Short learning curve. Especially like list of upcoming events.
  • Great Calendar

    By G35567
Please add support for location based weather and shared calendar updates from other users.
  • Duplicates all alert notifications on iOS 12.

    By HelloPretzel
Great app but it duplicates every single alert notification on iOS 12. Now, all my events have two “5 minute before” alerts instead of one. I’ve used multiple calendar apps and never have duplicate alert issues. As soon as I add Fantastical on my iPhone, all events get a duplicated alerts. If I remove one of the alerts, Fantastical adds it back.
  • Best in class calendar app

    By NSDmitry
I bought this app on all of my devices. This is the best app that combines default Calendar+Reminders for you. One outstanding thing - it doesn’t need your credentials, they’re pulling data from your default iOS Calendar app, so they are always in sync. P.S. New watchOS complication that has a day of the week and date in the same field is excellent! ++ for that
  • Won’t sync with work

    By DonRC5
Make sure your administrator will allow access before purchasing
  • Big disappointment

    By Wish horse
My partner and I are very busy people and we both invested, wanting an improvement from the Apple calendar. She gave up on day five, finding the new way to enter appointments no easier. Fantastical didn’t “learn” things the way our normal calendar did, so the possible addresses and info didn’t fill in from the words of the activity. After weeks. And the reminder list is nowhere near as sophisticated as wonderlist. Money wasted because we went all in. It took a bit to get the calendars coordinated through the cloud for IPad and phone coordination. Looks pretty. Save your money.
  • Love it

    By phatbhuda
I love this app and the Mac desktop version. Works the way a calendar should.
  • Almost

    By brandyyyy34
I love this app and although it regularly updates, I’m looking for something bigger. A redesign of the app would be great! More themes
  • Final Touches

    By Urbina68
I tmhave been using this app for almost two weeks now and it has completely transformed the way I interact with, and more importantly, how often I actually use my calendar! I’ve actually purchased several other calendar apps and while they all were supposed to be “amazing” ( at least according to the reviews), something about them made it seem too... daunting. Enter Fantastical. It’s really a big improvement over the standard calendar app and it is definitely worth the money. I love the natural language input function and the overall functionality of the app. It works extremely well and has many handy features like automatically adding an event to you calendar when it’s detected in your inbox (think: you purchased concert tickets and once you receive the confirmation email it will auto-create a fully filled in calendar event) With that being said, I would love some customizability in terms of the color scheme and the window layout. Also, GET RID OF THE “DOT SYSTEM” for tracking events. It’s really confusing and unacceptable to look at.
  • Was skeptical at first..

    By Zachy8
I wasn’t sure if I wanted a calendar app but have been eyeing this app for quite some time now. Let me just tell you it was the best decision I could’ve made! I love being able to write a sentence in and it gathers all the info and makes it into an event for me! Plus having my reminders right there and being able to add new ones just makes it that much better. Didn’t know a app could help my organize my life like the way you guys did! Thank you! 💙
  • Looks so good

    By AIK2015
Easy to use, Siri shortcut is amazing, smooth. I like this app so much.
  • Needs Dark Mode

    By PlayBrad4Me
Pretty much everything about this app is great. It’s stable, the animations are great, dragging and dropping a events and task onto new days on the calendars is awesome, and it’s great that it integrates with apple reminders. But come on, it’s seriously time to add a dark mode to the Calendar screen. It’s just too white and hard to see colors on that white background.
  • Everything I’ve Been Looking for in a Calendar App!

    By GypsyVoyager
For years I used Calvetica calendar until support for later iOS versions was dropped. I then bought Calendars by Readdle which was a good app, but it lacked the dual mini-month / daily list split-view that is absolutely essential to me. I’ve only found a few Calendar apps that actually offer this dual view, and most (if not all) of them want recurrent monthly/annual fees. For some odd reason I never saw this app in the App Store when I searched for “Calendar”, but fortunately I stumbled across it while searching for a Calvetica update. The one-time fee makes it a great choice and the app does everything my obsolete Calvetica app did and more. Hats off to the developer! 😃
  • So far, so good!

    By uncletimothy
I’ve tried using this app for the past 24 hours and have already found several things I like: -the dark background -the scrolling days across the top -easy to get back to today -being able to set google apps as defaults to follow links, maps, etc -being able to set the icon to show the current date -having events and reminders in the same app/calendar (google calendar does this, but I couldn’t figure out how to do it with the iPhone calendar) -more options for organizing reminders -the simple pull down window shade action to see the month and to go back to schedule view (iPhone calendar kept me guessing what view would pop up and how to get back) -seems to fit my needs in a calendar app and is visually more interesting than others -I have a feeling I’ll discover other things I like as I use it more
  • Could be better

    By anon eee mouse
Been trying to love Fantastical, but the "natural language" approach ignores how humans actually use the app. Trying to move / update events from lat week of December '19 to January '20. Seems like a simple operation, right? Nope! Each time I complete one of these changes, the event is ERASED. Poof! Gone. Forever. Disappeared. Search function can't find them either. Have to re-enter each one manually. Not good.
  • Show date on App icon

    By KenyaJazz
I’ve been using fantastical for a few years now. Solid app. My main complaint is that you must open the app to see today’s date. Why can’t you show today’s date right in the app Icon on the phone instead of launching the app? Hope it’s something to bat can be remedied with an update. I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels this way. Other than that great calendar app with integration with reminders.
  • One important lack: only 1 alarm per event

    By since HP80
On other calendar apps you can set two alarms. Thus you can have e.g., a 1 day warning and a 15 minute warning. Fool-proofs a lot of events. Wish you had this.
  • It's a calendar app

    By ArkieLad79
I really don't get the hype. It's a calendar app. It doesnt do anything magical or mysterious. It shows you your calendar. It's not bad, but I don't get people raving about it.
  • Don’t get this app.

    By Brb 616
I’ve had this app for over a month now and have been an avid user of it for all of my appointments, meetings, and reminders. I’d read so many people’s reviews and articles on how this app is so different and better than any other calendar app. I’m deeply disappointed that I wasted $4.99 on an app that does the same things google calendar does for free for me. I have since deleted this app bc it takes unnecessary space on my phone. Don’t get this app.
  • Love this app!!!

    By Don C from Virginia
Syncs with all my calendars (personal, work, sports, holidays etc). Easy to use.

La mejor App de todas 10 ESTRELLAS
  • Suggested improvements that would really make this app shine...

    By ej0287
    1. Adding the ability to chose different colors to various dates and reminders. 2. Adding the ability to “grab”, some and/or all of the previous appointments from a particular date and transfer them all at the same time - in one swoop. 3. Offer a decent discount in that once a person has brought one of your apps - By offering an incentive to buy the same app - let’s say, for your Mac, etc.
  • So intuitive

    By ConHarv
The layout and design of the Fantastical is so intuitive. Love it
  • Love this Calendar

    By JBandrew
iPhone app rocks and the Mac version is just spectacular. It would be nice to be able to change the appearance. Not a fan of the red theme. Functionality is tops.
  • Awesome

    By Martyg110
Smooth, practical, and easy to use.
  • scheme request

    By warehaus
can we have a all black scheme? getting rid of the red which really make me go nuts by looking at it all the time, also because of the red make me want to use it less. please!
  • Julian Date?

    By allllllloverthemap
One of my favorite and most-used apps. Would it be possible to add an option for the badge to show the Julian date (how many days into the year it is). That would be extremely useful to me. Thank you and keep up the good work!
  • Needs to save reminders when date has passed

    By Ugogirl49
Overall, I like this app very much but would like something fixed. When trying to remember when I did something something in the past, I check thru past dates and the events I’d added are no longer there. Can this be fixed?
  • Good Search Feature

    By Ruhcel
This app is a huge improvement over the native iPhone calendar. I bought it for the search feature, and am most pleased. It can find events from years ago. I appreciate the duplicate event feature also.
  • Five Star with a Suggestion

    By tonymcw
Fantastical stands above all calendar apps. A big reason is the inclusion of reminders into the calendar, making it unnecessary to open two apps for to view/edit reminders and events. A second is the fantastical layout. One suggestion: make the calendar at the top also dark in dark mode. As it is, the white calendar is jarring against the black. Thanks for a great app!
  • Better than Apple’s...

    By t_strudel
I definitely recommend a 3rd party calendar app like this one. This one is great, but could use just a little work. I think I like the widget more than the app itself, and having the Reminders app sync with this is awesome. Suggestions: Add the current month/day like Apple’s calendar app has for the icon so I don’t have to lock my iPhone to check the date. Add the ability to see the whole calendar year & future years on one screen like Apple has where we can scroll up and down. You have to slide month by month to get to your desired one, or you can use the “Go to”, but none of these are useful since they’re time consuming and I don’t know what day of the week a particular date will fall on with the “Go to”. Lastly, I emailed customer support for the first time, and they’re more like- “ok thanks bye”.
  • First Time Reviewer

    By Uncle cosmo
fantastical is a great app. I don’t use iCal anymore as fantastical is easier to use and better to look at. Great product!
  • Needs a refresh

    By AB_Preach
I stopped using it. It’s solid, I purchased the IPhone, IPad and Mac version so was pretty invested, but it’s just old and needs a refresh. I find it to be cluttered with things that have nothing to do with the information I need. Dots, dots everywhere. Also, I find it hard to read. You can make some adjustments, but it doesn’t full take advantage of the iPad or iPhone screen. The Mac software is better, but pricey.
  • Not Worth It

    By Alisabbas
At one point I loved fantastical, but have since stopped using it. Now that our screen sizes have gotten so much larger, it really it impossible to not prefer an app like outlook or google calendar, that enables you to utilize your screen with a full month display. You can’t possibly realize the value of a full month display without trying it, but once you do, you won’t want to use fanatical again. Regardless, that which you get in this app, you can get almost exactly as functionally but in a much more gorgeous and pleasing presentation, if you use something like google calendar.
  • Looks nice.... however...

    By Elezebethe
I wish I would not have paid for this app. I do not see any way to connect my google calendar. If can figure out I will gladly change my review. Otherwise, I would like a refund please
  • Amazing but missing one feature

    By Ruminate42
This app is fantastic! But I’d love to see calendar sets similar to achieve parity with the desktop app.
  • I have used this calendar for years

    By mimimomo
However they have been including Islamic celebrations as US holidays. I’m deleting the app and moving on.
  • Wish there was Travel time!

    By go4gonzo
Love this calendar that I’ve been using for over a year now. I just wish they added travel time like in the iOS calendar app where you can know when it’s time to leave based on the events location. If that was there, I’d make this my main calendar. This feature is critical for me. Other than that, love it
  • Finding an event

    By chhai bahar
How do I find an event? I searched in google. It says there is an icon next to plus sign. I don’t see any icon. Please help.
  • This is my Go To Calendar

    By Cheryl's iPhone 6 Plus
Love it. Glad you’re fixing and enhancing it. Thank you
  • My favorite iPhone calendar app

    By David J. M.
As of this writing, I am using an iPhone 5S and Fantastical is my favorite calendar app for such a small screen.
  • I love the app

    By Maybach777
Been few days since I download the app, so far had no issues until today when I was looking for a date on my calendar and this app has no date. “Well I received replay from developer and he explained that Apple doesn’t allow third party developers to put date on the app”
