    If i could give ZERO stars i would. Today marks the THIRD time my food SAT at the restaurant waiting to be picked up. No drivers answered up so the wait time gets longer and longer and longer. Well over an HOUR i waited for something that was just across town, I ended up going down and picking it up myself. By then the food was COLD. As i was leaving the driver shows up. I refused his service and told him to leave. I could not get ahold of any help, no links or phone numbers to any live person. It was horrible. I have cancelled my profile and will never use this app again.

    I had put in an order and waited a whole hour for it to just be canceled. The restaurant had confirmed it and it got canceled last minute. I had to place another order and had to wait another hour to get my order. I should have just ordered it from Uber eats smh.

    it’s good how the confirmation codes and text messages are on here but i’ve ordered from two places so far a mexican restaurant and madeline pizza and pasta when i order from the mexican restaurant i ain’t even get the correct food nor the salsa my drink was watered down i just feel like if i’m spending money o delivery fees and a 2 dollar fee if it under 10 dollars my food should be correct i should have sauce for my tacos and napkins forks all the extra i should get it right?

    I ordered at 9 pm and it stated food would arrive within 30 minutes. First delivery driver stated order wasn’t received but that it was being prepared. Order changed drivers 3 times and finally 1 hour after my order was placed and after the restaurant closed my ordered was canceled.

    I have been a fond patron of doordash for almost about a year and I used to prefer them for all my ordering needs. I had a hiatus and when I logged back in I WAS BANNED. I contacted their support and all they said was I violated terms of service. They didn’t help me recover my account or anything. If I were you STEER CLEAR of this business. I didn’t think it would have to come to this but this business is shady and does not care about their loyal supporters. USE POSTMATES, UBER EATS, GRUBHUB Or any other delivery service but STAY AWAY from this app

    Placed an order with this app, gave me an estimate of 35-45min. After waiting 15min it says my order is being picked up, but It keeps saying that for 30min and showed my driver driving around but not at the store. then after waiting for over an hour and a half for my food it cancelled my order. If it had canceled it soon I would have at least been able to make other arrangements, and there is no way in the app to complaint when this sort of thing happens. The apps FAQ says you get refunded for this, but I’ve seen no charge reversal. Uninstalling for good.
  • Two Hours for a Cold Soggy Burger

    The first time I placed an order it took an hour but I was pretty patient and understanding because it was the middle of the night and I had nothing planned. Tonight, I ordered one burger at 7:00 which did not show up until 9:05. The original delivery estimate was 45-55 minutes. I waited TWO hours. For a burger. The restaurant is a 15 minute drive from me. It took 15-20 minutes before the restaurant even confirmed the order. At one point (either before or right after the order was confirmed with the restaurant), I wanted to cancel because I wanted to be at the gym by 9:15ish (it closes at 10) and wanted to have time to let the meal settle first. And I thought I’d be cutting it close. But of course, you can’t do that. Once you order, you’re committed. Anyways every time I looked at the progress bar, it barely moved and the delivery status stayed relatively the same for long periods of time after every checkpoint. So after waiting two hours for one burger, it finally came. Two hours later. As I feared, it was insanely cold and the burger was entirely soggy. Gross. Worst delivery experience. I rated the experience itself and was offered like $5 worth of credit for the food being cold and another $5 for the delivery being late. I don’t think it was the restaurant’s fault, and possibly not even the driver. But if the platform makes drivers do multiple deliveries of hot meals, it makes it so that someone’s gonna get their food cold and old. That someone was me this time. But after I accepted the credit, I changed my mind and decided I’d rather lose the money, than to make another order with them in the future and lose 120 valuable minutes of my time. Believe it or not I’m usually very laid back about stuff like this but this was just insulting. Back to Uber Eats I go.

    The entire system broke down. Waited for my order for two hours then called customer service and talk to a woman who refused to refund me and give me extra credits. And up on her and called back and talk to a very nice woman who helped me out but overall do not trust DoorDash anymore.

    Every. Time. It’s unbelievable. Every time I try DoorDash it never comes. There’s ALWAYS some issue and the food never comes and support is impossible to reach. Save yourself the hassle and get Postmates or UberEats or literally anything else instead of this. The. Worst.

    Hi my name is David. And I’ve been dashing food fast and Efficient. I am a desert storm vet who lived in Baytown in when I got out in the early 90’s. You want fast hot food. You got with it me. If I don’t have app issues on the other end. I love meeting new pizza and my truck not smelling like just dominoes. However. I called door dash. Over 58 times. I know it’s a lot. But they weren’t answering the phone. Yet I the comany itself to work for. Is a night mare. I hate calling for help. They never do. I have had customer support tell me I shouldn’t of taken the order if I didn’t want drive that far. That’s b s. The customer pays her to blame me when I try to help. It’s hard. They blame me for their issues.

    Door dash used to be better than grub hub, but no more. At least grub hub has a number you can call when there are issues with your order. Door dash has a “contact customer service “ message, with no way to contact customer service, besides an email that will be responded to “within 24-48 hours “, or a “chat” button that doesn’t connect you to anyone because there is “nobody available to chat “. There’s no phone number, and even the bogus chat button was difficult to find. I give 3 thumbs down.

    My order was 30 min late, so I contacted the support. I had to wait about 15 min before I was even connected to someone on a support chat (no phone number of course!). The “support” told me they were experiencing technical difficulties and asked me if I wanted to cancel my order. I told them I still wanted my food and asked for an eta. I was told the food would arrive in 15 min or less. After the additional time ran out, I contacted support again...another 15 min wait. This time they told me the system had canceled my order and I would see a refund in 3-5 business days. I have a feeling that I’ll have to contest the charge on my card after a refund doesn’t show up too! I would rather deal with DMV than this app.

    Tonight my daughter in law ordered a pie for me using DoorDash . According to their app we should receive our order within an hour. Over an hour later still no pie. We called the restaurant and they could not cancel our order as they are third party. We couldn’t cancel on the app as they said it was being prepared. There is no phone number to call for information on your order. Finally after a little over two hours my order showed up. Don’t waste your time or money with this service. The tip is added in as you order. I don’t blame the driver I blame DoorDash for lousy service. I’ve used them twice and don’t think we will be using them again.

    App being down resulted in miscommunication and running around town to pick up my own food. Spent hours waiting and customer service had me on hold for 40 minutes just to tell me they couldn’t cancel my order. I didn’t get a refund and I paid for my food on top of buying food after waiting for door dash. DO NOT GET THIS APP... just use uber eats.

    Friday night— Dasher cancelled order and did not try to notify until over 40 minutes past estimated delivery time. When trying to speak to customer service chat was over #361 in line AND once got thru to someone was cut off. Even pickup orders not available due to volume. Only way I got to order was to call the restaurant myself. Not worth the fees or the hassle.

    I placed an order on two occasions and both times after a 2-hour wait, that’s right 2- hours, my orders were cancelled. I tried for 45 minutes to cancel the order but their app was down. So I tried looking for a phone number and there is none to be found. None that work anyway. Save yourself the hassle and go pick up your own food.

    First of all, the app is way too slow to load. Secondly, even when I did get it to load, whenever (by which I mean, “EVERY TIME”) I tried to add an item to my cart, the app gave an error message suggesting that the item couldn’t be added to my cart—which was a bald-faced lie because it turns out that those items WERE getting added to my cart. This led to my third problem; whenever I tried to remove one of the four orders of enchiladas that the app had tricked me into putting in my cart, the app got stuck on a loading wheel. Through a tedious process of going back a page and clicking on “My Cart” repeatedly, I was finally able to remove the extra items and add the item that I wanted to (after sitting through the aforementioned load times and BS error messages). Then, when I tried to checkout, I got an error message that just read, “Oops.” I kid you not. After confirming that this error message was telling the truth, i.e. that my order had not gone through, I tried again until, by some miracle, the order went through. Or so I thought, because as I was in the middle of writing this review, I got a call from DoorDash saying that my order was cancelled because of problems on the restaurant’s end. Luckily, they offered a full refund. I’ll give them a second chance, in case they weren’t full of it, and the problems were caused by the restaurant (I’ve read online reviews that strongly suggest otherwise), but I would not recommend that anyone else give them a first.

    The app is slow, and at some point after I ordered, the system crashed. I received more than 20 notifications that my food was picked up, AFTER I already had dinner. It was my first order, it could be my last. But I have nothing to complain about the driver or the food.

    I put a complain in a couple months ago for large pizza and 2 cannolis , I watched the map on app and the car did not leave for the an hour so I called driver he said he had other runs and I sId my food going to he cold he said no it won’t he said he calls 10 minutes before pickup so it’s hot , so i said ok , now waiting another 45 minutes and I called pizza place and the food has not been sitting there for 2 hours the driver lied so I tried calling the driver back and he would not answer his phone , now been waiting over 2 hours and his car still did not move , wanted to cancel order but my phone died so I went upstairs to put phone on charger and then went downstairs to our lobby and the food was on the dirty floor in the vestibule where people walk and walk there dogs. I did complain to door dash and never had anyone call me about this serious issue , they gave me a $10 credit abc I paid 23.00 and all the food went in the trash ! As a food company how could you just ignore the service I received and not called to follow up ! I run resteraunts and someone would be fired for this kind of service !     Literally the one and only time I tried to use this the app crashed. Waited 30 mins past the estimated time, couldn’t text anyone, finally got through to the restaurant to tell me it was cancelled. Unexcusable - garbage website and garbage app. I should have known before I even placed the order the load times were such garbage.

    The servers went down 20 minutes after I ordered my food and the app kept giving me bogus names for drivers even though it was the same uncallable number based out of San Fransisco. I never got my food after waiting 3 hours and reading online that this is not the first time that the service has went down on a busy night. I will never use Doordash and I definitely recommend this app to absolute no one!!!

    I made a $175 order two hours ago for a group of friends. DoorDash said it would be delivered in about 40 minutes. I tried to Cancel the order about 30 minutes ago because doordash said the order was still being prepared. It wouldn’t let me cance the order. I tried calling doordash, it said the wait time was over 30 minutes (I’m still on hold 25 minutes later). I called the restaurant and they said the food has been ready for a while and they are just waiting on a “dasher” but the line is busy and no one is showing up. Now my wife is going to pick up the food at 9:15 at night. Piss piss poor doordash. This is

    I never received my order. The app was also telling me to contact customer support if I hadn’t received it and i was unable to on the app. I called the restaurant and the order had been ready for an hour and they said I have to get a refund from the app if I came to get it myself because I would have to pay for my food there. The restaurant is about to close now and they said I was the second customer tonight with the same complaint. So much for eating tonight.... thanks for nothing.

    The app was lagging but I decided to order food anyways. Waited over an hour while the eta screen continued to say, “confirming your order.” Called my driver, didn’t answer, then I called every support number I could find and each line was busy and I wasn’t able to connect to anyone. I received a text message that said my order had been cancelled, but when I got on the app it was still an ongoing order and it wouldn’t let me cancel it myself. Very frustrating and the app has lots of problems.

    We placed our 1st order on DoorDash at 7:15pm, eager to eat our dinner from Buffalo Wild Wings. Estimated arrival time was 50 to 60 minutes. We are sitting here now at 9:15pm 2 hours later and still no food even though the restaurant is only a few miles from here. We have been checking the app constantly, and our “Dasher” has now been switched at least 2 times. We called the restaurant and they told us our food has been sitting there waiting for pickup for an hour or more and no one has come to pick it up yet. New “estimated arrival time” now 9:50pm which would be over 2 and a half hours after we placed the order 😡😡😡. Was very excited to use DoorDash for the first time but now am tempted to tell anyone who asks to avoid this app like the plague due to a terrible 1st impression. Very disappointing.

    I kept being told to download this app because of how easy it is to order. Finally caved. The app won’t even work. It just keep saying technical difficulties. Every time I try to add anything to my cart. I gave up after trying for so long that the restaurant closed.

    The app/site is down and there is no way to get ahold of support since it’s all chat based. I cannot receive my order or speak to anyone to receive a refund. I attempted to complete a form requesting support and it says they will respond within 24/48 hours. -_-

  • Poor execution/Punishes customers

    I have ordered through DoorDash a bit, and I’ve noticed that orders are often not correct. I finally got the courage to let them know they got my order wrong and I got a partial credit when the whole order was wrong (they don’t have an option that I could find that flags that I got the entirely wrong order). They gave me a partial credit (less than the price of what was incorrect). I don’t want to be rude so I accepted. Now the app doesn’t work when I’m trying to use this partial credit. I find other food delivery apps are just more accurate to begin with, and you might be more satisfied using those.

    My last order threw door dash was 2.5 hours late and the food was cold. I can’t believe I paid money for this and there has been not compensation for the shy service. This must be corrected or I will never use this app again.
