Poor responsiveness compared to other weather apps. Few features. Very slow to zoom in or out. Right now Ventusky is much better app for tracking storms. Can’t get any useful information for an approaching storm due shortly. Why did they mess with this app? DELETING FROM MY DEVICES!
  • Garbage

    By Shield Anvil
Garbage You have the nerve to ask me to pay for your app before I can even use it? Uninstalled. Kill yourselves
  • Not the same

Don’t like the new version will be deleting
  • Recieve

    By katytambou
If you want more then the basic which you can get at any app but they give you more then basic free of charge. But on this app there is a charge and not worth it
  • Does not locate

    By BrinahMorgan
It continues to show me in a city 20+ miles away, even after clicking the locator arrow.

    To expensive
  • Not worth the money

    By dionysusindc
It's an OK app for sure, but I pay for the premium and it doesn't even give you ANY storm information. No projected path, no information, nothing. If a storm or Invest is out there, all you can do is click on it to see it's name. The apps should be linked to their website at least!
  • I am deleting this app.

    By irritated31
you have to pay for the weather other than the last few minutes, right now, and like two minutes ahead? Get real. I have a door and a window. I know if it is currently raining.
  • Nothing in the free part of the app

    By PitmanBill
Could only see map of the US in the free part of the app. Any other buttons require paid subscription.
  • Add a feature, add a charge

    By Queenoftheroad
Other apps provide info with all tha extra charges. Not worth it.
  • Finally

    By goatnutsasssweat
    A great weather map
  • Worthless app

By this is a piece of trash
Pitiful. Unable to use features because of constant sales pitch to upgrade.
  • Nice App But Forces You Into In App Purchase

    By Skheight
I could not open the app without signing up for a “free” 7-day trial. If you don’t cancel the trial, you will be charged a weekly subscription fee. I don’t care how useful an app is - I don’t think consumers should be treated like this.
  • Remember that nothing is free.

    By love💗sissy💗
Wonderful if you can afford 20.00$ per month. I thought it’s part of our phone. To many hinting places to put stuff you think goes to the phone. Wrong people. Read really careful. Peace ✌🏼
  • $$$$

I just want to track and watch hurricanes but I keep getting asked to pay!!
  • A goverment agency NOAA

    By brokepilot
Yes and why, after contributing tens of thousands of dollars annually to the federal government coffers should i pay for this service which i already paid for? Update: I have been paying $2.99 per week yet it’s not available on either of my 2 iPads nor my iPhone so where is it?
  • Accuracy abound

    By willshill
This app is a great lightning detector/warning system. The forecasting accuracy and information in real time is amazing. A bit pricey, but a well functioning app.
  • Why we can’t have a ...

    By ssjas472
Weather app that doesn’t cost us money..everyone wants you to pay for an app. WHY? All I want to to keep up w our daily weather Plain and simple between you and other weather app same ole crap.. money money money I don’t care about ads ... tired of it
  • Beware automatic subscription

    By Dwchambe
Beware. I did not click on the $2.99 a week option and it automatically registered me for it. I immediately canceled. Hopefully it took. I hate scammy things like this.
  • Very strange tactic

    By me839z
I installed this application because it is listed as free in AppStore. Then I can’t proceed without subscription behind the 2nd screen. I will uninstall this application in 1 minute and if I will charged I will report this practice to Apple. I just received a response definitely written by bot. Let me repeat myself again - I DELETED APPLICATION ONE MINUTE AFTER I SEE A DEMAND FOR SUBSCRIPTION. I HAD IT ON MY PHONE FOR 60 SECONDS AND I DON’T HAVE IT ON MY PHONE ANYMORE. SO, I DO NOT EXPECT TO REFUSE ANYTHING - YOU CAN’T BILL ME - I DON’T USE THIS APPLICATION AND NEVER DID.
  • Curious Storm Rotation

    By Mr.Ponk
On this app's "Upgrade to PRO version, the Graphic, shows two bright red, animated, "clock-wise rotating icons", that presumably, represent a storm's center!?! But here, in the US, being in the Northern Hemisphere, is it not true, that tropical storms, and hurricanes, rotate "counter-clockwise"?!? Additionally, if your finger happens to, inadvertently, touch a location, that place gets a "PIN icon", and simultaneously, it immediately, shows weather conditions, at the exact position, of the inadvertent PIN! All well & good, but nowhere, on the app, can the inadvertent PIN, be deleted, and reset, by default, your own location! so annoying. Course it is crowded by ads, that can only be eliminated, by purchasing their upgrade! But I guess, others than those issues, it's better than "a sharp stick, in your armpit!"!!!
  • WTH

    By Tembell
My tax dollars pay for NOAA. Why do I need to pay for this app inform it’s from NOAA.
  • I tried to get a refund

    By christinasevo
I tried to cancel 14 days or seven days after and they would not give me a refund turn on like the app I do not recommend it to nobody I don’t keep their word and give you a trial and then when you ask for a refund to tell you for the first year you got to stay with it Not satisfying at all
  • Who is making money from premium subscriptions?

    By mcstrandy man
If this app was really developed for NOAA, it should be ad free, and all premium features should be included in the free app. I understand that app development costs money, but isn’t that why my tax dollars fund NOAA? C’mon guys
  • 😘

    By antonio collection
  • Nope!

    By cissy nall
This is not NOAA they just use logo and name. Said they had permission to do so.. NOAA weather and alerts are free this is a scam you can’t even use this without paying because of how it’s set up and the adds🤦🏻‍♀️

I am a retained naval officer and I have some proposals to resource the Nomber & the velocity of the thyphones hiring the Carrabian Sea
  • Just an advertisement for upgrade

    By SillyGram
This is a scam unless you upgrade
  • Pop ups and little available features

    By pshaw-
Opened twice and all I get are pop ups and most everything is tied to premium. Meh. Received feedback that (duh) I’m using the free version, and to upgrade to get rid of pop ups. Why would I pay for premium when the NOAA (tax payer funded, no additional fees apply) website has all this information? I already pay to see this information, why would I pay twice?
  • Most everything costs extra

    By chuckofearl
I was surprised that whenever I wanted to know something about a hurricane, I have to subscribe to a service. I can get all this on the internet site for free. So it’s really not that useful.
  • Don’t do it

    By Zedgie Is Now Sad
Like other reviews, the developer deceives the user after accepting the free app. Like other apps it asks for you double click or a finger print to approve the download, but after doing so, you are told that you will be notified of when the next payment will come due. I DO NOT want the paid version!!! You developers need to make the options more clear and NOT make the free verses paid options so confusing and hidden. I WILL NOT SELECT OR PURCHASE ANY GAMES OR APPS FROM THIS DEVELOPER EVER AGAIN AND I WILL PASS THAT SAME INFO ON TO WHOM EVER I CAN!!!
  • No Fake Repots Here

This app is more accurate than WeatherBug for our location

  • New to the app.

    By [email protected]&$1230986
I’ve been looking at the app for literally minutes and I’m just being bombarded with “pay extra for this”..etc. Too much advertising and distractions. Deleting and going back to basic weather apps.
  • Horrible and dishonest

    By DeutschB
The “free” app won’t even let you open it without a trial or premium subscription. There are many other great weather apps out there that provide the same information without you paying for their software engineers. This company still inundated me with adds, so why is it not truly free?
  • Pop-Ups and Ads a Distraction. :-(

    By Patti 🐾
    As I was saying . . .
  • Misleading

    By cchesuodj es
You can’t see anything unless you UPGRADE. I’ll stick with the Weather Channel.
  • Not affiliated with NOAA

    By Rach123556739
This is a fake NOAA app, it’s not actually developed by NOAA, I’m sure they get their info from them but they give you the bare minimum and want you to subscribe for info you could just go onto NOAA’s website for. Don’t fall for it, NOAA does not have an app.
  • It doesn’t even work

    By Singseong
Anything I click on has to be paid for and it barely tells you anything unless you pay for it.
  • I pay my taxes. Why do I need to pay more?

    By rmdobbins
There are many free apps out there. I am not sure why a government organization is trying to make money on apps.
  • DH

    By Weatherdoug
I’m very disappointed with this app.lm using an iPhone 11. I paid $20 for an app with slow loading maps. The timer moves but the weather map doesn’t. The temperature map is a joke. Different colors on a map don’t tell me what the temperature is. Forecasts for our area ( upstate NY ) are never right. Forget about tomorrow and beyond, today’s forecast isn’t right. Then come to find out - these people have nothing to do with NOAA, they just deceive you into thinking they are. Shame on NOAA for letting them do this and weather or not for knowingly deceiving us. I’ve seen much better free weather apps. All I have to do is find out how to cancel my subscription to this one. Looks like I’m stuck with it for the year :/ I wish I would have read the reviews before purchasing this app.
  • To many ads

    By g the bird
    Don’t like all the ads.
  • Awful Update

    By Ewaskul
Awful update! You just lost me as a long time user of your app! All blue, gray & white tone colors?!? Poor choice. Go back to the old colorized app!
  • Weather!

    By gaerisch
Your better off just going directly to the NOAA site using your browser! No ads, just weather. You can get radar images as well. All free! It’s where most weather stations get their information from anyway!
  • Not great

    By thavican
Drains the battery when it runs in the background and now you want to charge for its use. Looking for another app.
  • Worst app ever

    By siding god
Completely off! Says rain when the suns out
  • App Store says it’s free (it’s not free!)

    By Perfect Lob
The App Store says this is a free app, but it’s not. Well, I guess it’s free during your “free trial” period but only after you sign up for a weekly or annual subscription. What a rip off! All this info is available FOR FREE on the web from NOAA. LAME!
  • Did not order.

    By stop interjecting
Cancel. Did not purchase. So not charge me for it.
