  • Fantastic

    By Votsgirl
My five year old twins play this game everyday to develop levels. However some recent changes now prevent them from playing the same time on our account. They log each other out. Also more learning games to earn money for level components would be great. It’s a real motivator.

  • Good but not functional

    By Hiperdash222
Let’s start we’re I could not log in when my account was still paying my mom. And then I went to school and the same things happening and a special student gets his OWN account, really codeSpark. REPLY WHEN READY TO FIX THIS BUG. ❗️
  • I love code spark!

  • My note

    By yui conn
Hi, I’ve bin having a lot of fun on code spark! I think you could add some real code throw 😀. So when people get too this type of code they can get a step up. But it would need to be fun at the same time! 😒 I just wanted too add something, but I like it this way! Oh, and my name is violet. Nice meeting you, bye!
  • Best game in the universe!😀😃😄😁😆😅 glad it is a game.

    By Aidyn jane loves games
I love love love love love love this game. Only....... I have completed everything on the game. It is kind of getting boring. Could you add more land in puzzles? I would love it.
  • Kid loves it

He loves making his own challenges.
  • Does not work

    By Alex in S.F.
Won’t let me set up a free trial (I have tied multiple times and it is frustrating). Too bad - it looks like it could have been a good game.
  • Great for parent and teachers

    By Flash Bruce
As an elementary school tech teacher with young kids in my household, I can say this is both great at home and in the classroom, particularly Kindergarten through 2nd grade, though older kids like it, too, even my high schooler.
  • Scammy charges! Must call to cancel

    By CyreneT
Won’t let you cancel. Tried it during “free” period then cancelled subscription. You have to cancel it 4 ways for them to stop charging you: 1. Cancel iTunes subscription 2. Email company 3. Call customer service 4. Wait 30 days, pay a second time and then cancel subscription again. For the record, I still have no reassurances I won’t be billed again.

  • Wonderful for primary grades

    By CAG15
I’ve been using CodeSpark for 2yrs now with 1st graders, but not until a few weeks ago did I take advantage of the free PD weekend. Now I feel more confident guiding my students. My students LOVE codeSpark! They constantly ask if they can use it. I notice it helps them to focus and motivates them to problem solve. I enjoy coding myself! :)

  • App crashes, too many ads for a paid app.

    By rmavt
I was really disappointed after spending money on the subscription to see adds for merchandise and a focus on coins to buy things in the app. I don’t this this is as educational or as fun as it could be. The app also crashes frequently on the iPad.
  • Not working

    By qawsedrftgyhukolpi
With the new update, some of the items don’t work. The first item is the doors. When I played a few games (to make sure that they all did that) I had all the jems but they didn’t open. Usually, the doors would open but they didn’t. It said I had all the jems or coins but it wouldn’t open. Next thing is the blocks. I don’t know what they are called but, they are like a block that is cut in diagonally. When I step on them they are just clear. When you try to step on it, it’s not stable.

  • Mostly Great

    By Nemurineko-chan
So far the app has been pretty good. It does occasionally crash for no reason but that’s been a minor issue. I do wish there was some sort of explanation of the various pieces you can “buy” with the coins you earn in-game, as it is sometimes confusing what they are. Even a single explanatory word above each menu would not be out of place, and you could still keep the picture icons for the kids who can’t read yet.

    By nrgrgdrth
As of the year of the pig update all ramps cannot be moved or coded in the level maker. And, while playing any game, the player cannot make contact with ramps. Instead of touching the ramps, the foo passes through them like a ghost. Please fix so I can fully enjoy the foos again

  • A Teacher’s must have!

    By TimKnorr
I’m a teacher and this is truly the best coding app out there. It’s engaging, student friendly, with a range of difficulty from simple sequencing to full game development. My students love CodeSpark!
  • Great App for teaching coding!

    By Elf322
I love this App!! I’m using codeSpark to teach coding to my early grade students and they love it!! I love that the app can be used on iPad 2 as those are the only iPads we have. It’s very simple to set it up and the students love getting on the app.
  • Colorful and Engaging!

    By GBoston52
My K-1 students and I love learning to code using the Foos! They love solving the coding puzzles and meeting new Foos as they move to new levels! We were very excited to see the full web version offered to schools and that it was free to educators! This program is fantastic!

  • Have Fun and Code

    By Read 2 Succeed
A fellow teacher invited me to signup for the free pd that codeSpark was offering. I’m glad I did, I learned a lot. Most importantly, I introduced my students to the app and they love it! They are learning how to code and having fun at the same time. I like the app because it’s simple enough for my 1st graders to use it and challenging enough to keep me engaged.
  • How much I enjoy it

Ok this first sentence or two is about fun requests. I was thinking 💭 maybe you could add more levels to Puppy Problems. When I saw there was no more to it I stared at the floor in disappointment. I do also have another idea. If maybe there could be a male and female character for every skin. But of course that’s not important. To me it is for some strange reason. Though of course it glitches. But it only glitches every once a year for me. Though I believe it’s for a younger age group than me but how they make the coding as if they were games is really intriguing and also never gets old. At least in my case it never gets old. The developers in my opinion take their time to really make this app special. I really do thank the developers for making this app. (Meant to say app). THIS IS MY FAVORITE CODING APP.💻🥳🤩
  • Review for Code Spark

    By WES JB
This app is amazing! The students love this game and I’m so thankful for the opportunity and access to utilize this for my students. They enjoy the game and don’t even realize the benefits they are gaining just by playing! The problem solving skills and experience is so enjoyable and valuable. Thank you for making this available. Ms. Bain

  • Excellent

    By stewie-boston
This app is probably one of the best ways to introduce kids to the concept of coding.. just by using the app and with not much direction the kids are able to learn concepts such as loops and conditionals. I took away one star since its pricey
