  • Wish there were new episodes

    The FAQ says there are new episodes every week. While this is technically true (well, it used to be - there have been no new episodes since the last update ~4 weeks ago), the “new” episodes are actually the same ~20 recycled over and over. Paw Patrol only plays Season 2 episodes (there are now 6 seasons, I believe) and Blaze only plays Season 1, I believe (there are 4). I’m not expecting the newest episodes, an embargo of even a year would be completely understandable, but some variety would be great. We’ve been subscribing for over a year, and I’m VERY tired of the same shows over and over. It’s not worth paying every month just to get the same content.

    I just started a weeks free trial today. It’s as other reviewers have been saying for months, the app closes after every episode. It does this on both my roku TVs and my iPhone. Good shows, but I will be canceling before my free week is up if not fixed. Update: Worked for a while, now not working at all as others have posted. I’ve contacted tech support and they say it’s been rectified. Not hardly. Good shows but I’m canceling my subscription. What’s the point of paying for something you can’t ever use. :(

    My childhood is back. All that I only need is for you to get rid of Blaze and Paw Patrol because they are already on Nick Jr’s App, and where’s Wow Wow Wubbzy? It’s a Noggin show (And my favorite Noggin Show), and it’s not there.

    My granddaughter loves this app and came for several days and we tried it several times .Just did not want to cooperate! But when it comes back or problem is resolved we give this app a 5 star rating!
  • Latest update no longer recognizes Apple subscription

    The latest update no longer properly links to your subscription under your Apple ID. Keeps asking for login info, but does not recognize the email address associated with Apple ID. Even their help does not know what is going on and unable to get us going. They really need to fix this quick or refund our subscription.
  • Buggy after recent update

    After the recent app update, the app keeps crashing. It will stop playing after a few episodes and no buttons work (play, pause, rewind, forward). I have to force closed the app and start over. There are many times also that it does not start right away, I have to restart the app few more times before i get to the menu.

    Don’t download. All this app has to offer is shows that are very limited. We tried the week trial to which my daughter(3yrs old) found very boring. I canceled the subscription and moved on to another app THE SAME DAY. Then 2 weeks later I get charged the full $8.00 for the app! They won’t give me a refund because we didn’t meet the conditions for a refund. It’s a joke.

    We’ve had the app for months on our Roku, but since the update every time we want to watch something on Noggin we have to log back in with an email address and password. It wasn’t like that before the update. I’ve looked at the other reviews and it seems I’m not the only one having this problem.

    Love the app for my kids but it won’t stay logged in on my Roku. Every time I power the TV back on I have to sign in again. That didn’t happen before this last update in June 2019.

Noggin pre-school is the killer app that could end toxic public schools. This app shows that the market will find a solution to the vile obscenity of socialist government excess, beginning with the biggest money waster- schools and teachers.

    New noggin update has come with a ton of bugs on my Roku ultra. Constantly signing me out and won’t load unless I go back to the home screen first. Wish I could revert to the old design
  • Charges you for the app, then won’t open

    It keeps telling me that I can’t use the app until I verify my email address, but then won’t send the verification email. I tried clicking on “forgot password”, and I got an email to reset the password. But then after I reset the password, it starts all over with wanting me to verify my email.

    The new noggin is amazing so far. It looks better and seems user friendly, but one of the highlights for me was the intro music on the app and TV version. My daughter would dance to this until her show started and now there is no music. Great new look, but bring back the background music! I honestly do t use the phone app much but imagine a lot of parents would like to have it for their kids. I use the TV app because we don’t have cable.

    Would it be possible to add a section that is dedicated to each season or holiday? Too many changes all at once make life difficult for children on the spectrum, and your app changed everything at once!

    My daughter loved this app and so did I, but after this new update it is horrible. It’s so hard for my daughter to navigate and it is so buggy. I mean we are paying for a subscription and it’s just terrible now. Please fix these issues.

    We have been subscribed to noggin for 5 years now! We have loved it and it’s come in handy. My autistic son despised the update. He cries and gets angry. He misses the wheel. It’s overwhelming how there are all shows at once and you removed some of the favorites and it’s mostly games now

    Now the app continually states it / I am offline (and therefore can’t access any online content) despite my iPad being connected to a fast WiFi connection and being able to use all other apps normally. Was planning to download a bunch of stuff for our daughter to get her through a 12.5 hour flight, but can’t do it because of this buggy update!

    We have subscribed to noggin for awhile and have enjoyed it. Since the most recent update we find ourselves having to login every time we wish to use the app. It is very annoying. Is there anything we can do on our end? We are cord cutters & are using Roku. Might that have something to do with it ? Look forward to hearing from someone. Thank You
  • Hate the newest update

    The previous version of this was great. It was very easy for my 2 year old to navigate and find her shows to watch. Now with all the added games and extra stuff, it makes it very difficult for her to get to her shows like before and she always clicks on a game because she doesn’t k ow any better. Sadly, I’m going to be canceling my subscription to this and sticking with PBS kids and Disney now.

    The app has crashed more then 10 times on my son and myself. It randomly freezes. Also who decided to change the layout of the app so much? Ugh.

    We have the Disney Appisodes App and the subscription fee is $5 cheaper a month! It has the same interactive features and educational benefits in its varied tv shows plus it has a library of books that are also interactive. I just don’t understand if they are the “competition” why the price point wouldn’t be more competitive. We won’t be subscribing again until it is.

    I absolutely love the app for my boys, but before this most recent update it was super easy for my son to navigate on his own. Now it’s a bit more confusing for him. Plus it doesn’t always play the next episode and you have to pick another. Miss the old noggin. But love the app in general.

    My daughter and I love this app! It keeps her occupied when I need her to be. It’s educational and all her favorite characters. The only downfall, is it doesn’t seem to work without WiFi. I live in a rural area where good cell connection is hard to come by, and sometimes I would like to be able to bring the iPad and let her play games on a long drive. She always reaches for Noggin, but it never loads unless on perfect signal or WiFi. I would love to see an update that allows it to be played and watched without cell or WiFi service, or even work better on limited service. If I don’t have LTE it won’t work at all, not even 3-4G. Otherwise we love this app!

    The newest version keep asking me for internet connection even though it’s available for use. At this point I can’t play with the content (Which paying a subscription for) in any device I have. I’m doing my part... paying for goods. I’m expecting the developers to do theirs... provide quality products. 1 star for the app. The content is not being judge here.

    If I could magically give this app no stars I def would. Cancelling our subscription since we live in South Korea on US territory so our wifi connection is as if we were in the states. This app was the only one that would work for my son and since it updated it, it no longer does. I dont have to pay for a vpn for my other apps since I am on US grounds so I dont feel like I should have to for this one.

    The new layout of Noggin is far less whimsical and imaginative than the old one. One of the biggest draws of the old app was its inviting menu music and circular menu wheel where you could only see one show at a time after being greeted by Moose and Zee. This new layout now reflects pretty much every other kids streaming app where you see a multitude of little boxes full of shows and episodes. By offering up many shows at once, it takes away from focusing more intently on one which I think is very important for children’s apps. Not opposed to seeing this app evolve; but just from the icon change you can tell it’s focusing more on the “popular shows” over its original beautiful branding.

    I gave this review two stars because of the app, not because of the shows. I LOVE all the shows feel confident in my child watching them knowing there’s not going to be anything crude or inappropriate. I LOVED THE APP LAYOUT BEFORE. I wish they kept it the same. I seriously was so bummed out today when I went to let my little girl watch it and it has been changed. I thought it was great the way it was and was so easy for my child to understand and navigate. I wish it had remained its old self. 😭

    My special needs daughters love the old nick jr shows that you have on the app, Gullah Gullah Island , Allegra’s Window , etc. will they still be on the newly designed Noggin app? If not you will lose this customer and break my daughters’ hearts.

    The newest version is terrible to view. What used to be a beautiful app to view and use has now been cluttered. I would like to know who thought the new layout was fantastic because they clearly have not read ‘The Magical Art of Tidying Up’. Leave it to Nickelodeon to ruin something great - just like their developers have done with everything else.

    Good app. Kids definitely love it. I like that they added shimmer and shine, but if they could add a few more of the recent shows that would be great. Plus they keep the same seasons on. I have yet to see any new episodes or seasons. I would be bored with the app by now, but I guess I’m glad my kids aren’t.

  • Massive change

    I noticed the app has been recently revamped and my two year old doesn’t seem to like the new layout. She learned to navigate the new layout but she would always get excited when she opened the app and it played it’s classy tunes. Now that it’s silent once opened is a little disappointing. Have the app for awhile now but not sure if I’d keep it with this new layout . I feel the old one was better!

  • No sound after most recent update

    (Dropped to one star) The update seemed relatively nice but quickly noticed the games that were newly added had no sound (bubble guppies) specifically. Not sure of the others since my daughter only likes guppies. All previously downloaded content was removed which isn’t a big deal but gets annoying having to download everything again. Meant to update sooner, most of the applications interactive games no longer work after the most recent update. Canceled subscription until issues are resolved.

    The new layout of the Noggin app is disappointing. I do wish the developers would consider the fact that small children and those with disabilities like structure. Changing everything around and offering an update of significantly less quality will amount to a loss of use.
