    This app needs work! Every time I get an alert I try to log on to look and it won’t pull up app and when it does it won’t show live feed and doesn’t record anymore either.
  • Not working correctly and no CS

    Sometimes the auto alarm works but most of the time doesn’t have to set it manually . I emailed CS because their number goes to VM and states it is full. One time they said in an email to reset which didn’t work or reboot. I deleted the app reinstalled and set the cameras up again. Still doesn’t work. Hopefully you are reading this before you buy. I strongly recommend that you buy another system that does what it is suppose to and a Company that has reliable CS, I am tossing mine

    If you want to just be able to look inside your home while not home this will work. However, don’t expect to be notified if someone is there. The sensor doesn’t work to detect someone has entered even at max sensitivity. I have walked directly in front and put something in front of the camera intentionally without it notifying me motion was detected. There seems to be a glitch now where it wants you to constantly log into the app now. I will not recommend this as an actual security system as it is far from reliable.

    I have no idea how to eliminate the monthly charges on Apple. I sent an email to support with no response. I can’t remember signing up for monthly charges nor professional monitoring. I want out and have no idea how to do it. I gave a 1 star for ease of use.

    This app and also the camera are junk don't waste your money. The alarm didn't stay on, doesn't even notification when motion is detected. Super glitchy and not happy at all with software.

    I keep hearing “Guardzilla is initialized” and “pairing successful” both are lies havnt been able to bring it up on three different phone. For two hundred bucks you can do a lot more with your money. elsewhere

    When I first got these cameras they worked great. Now most of the time you can’t get the app to work, when it does it takes forever for it to sync with the cameras. If they don’t fix the problem I will have thrown $200 out the window.

    I will open the app, it takes 30 seconds - 1 minute to show the status of the camera if at all. Double tap home, close the app, open it again, it asks me to log in. Close the app again and restart, and I’m logged in again. Sometimes the camera doesn’t show up and the app freezes.... I’m trying to use this to keep track of my father and its just causing more anxiety.

    Bought this & still wont connect. After doing some research I found out the company & Camera is a scam. Nobody answers the phones, nobody emails you back & nobody returns your product back when u send it in. Now I’m out of $99 & my Camera. Total BS & these people are getting away w it! I will be reporting Guardzilla to the BBB 🖕🏻🤨🖕🏻

    Whatever you do, do not update this app If you have an earlier version. I had zero complaints really until I updated the app. Now I have to log-in almost every single time I open the app, then it tells me my password is incorrect until I tap “log in” 3-4 times, once I’m actually in the application sometimes my cameras do not appear or it’s very sluggish and I have to start the process all over again. They need to fix these glitches immediately, until then it’s going to be a 1 star from me..

    I used to get small recordings but no longer can get them. Also, after the update it is difficult to talk and listen back and forth. Once I have talked I can’t listen.

    I have two of these cameras. Both stop recording all by themselves, which is not acceptable. So it's basically a baby monitor. Every "update" for the app just gets worse and worse.

    At first we thought we need to get use to the problems or it was our home wireless, and then it got worse. Even with updates the app continues to crash, take forever to load etc. I am now unable to use the siren through the app. Auto enable stopped working some time ago and I contact tech support for resolution. IF I receive a response it is normally my problem to resolve by resetting the cameras or reinstalling the app which has never worked. Very happy I invested $200 so I could have more stress in my life. They will be going into the recycling pile.

    I bought a pair of these cameras. They started out fine then one issue after another . The only thing worse than these pieces of crap is their customer service. They actually told me that the two units were incompatible together yet they came in a two pack? I can’t overstate how bad their customer service is, they do not want you to contact them, when you email you always get the same canned support info in return that is useless.

    Ok no auto arm in 5 weeks this really shows me how I do not need their cloud video storage plan. Really disappointed in the lack of addressing this issue Been using 2 of these for about a month no real issues. Since update notifications turn themselves off constantly. 1st Update now defaults notifications to text,email,push no way to stop this without turning off notifications completely. Getting tiresome 2nd update Stopped working can’t connect as of 1/18/2019. I pay for this service?

    Cons - Constantly crashes the app on the iPhone. Choppy audio and video even next to the high-speed wifi source. Alarm won't sound even with appropriate settings being selected. Pros - App has greatly improved layout for cameras. Easy to customize settings.
  • Auto arm issues

    I have 2 cameras. One is outdoors and I leave it armed. The other in indoors and I was using the auto-arm feature on both my wife’s phone and mine. Around the time of the last app update it quit auto-arming. I contacted Guardzilla and was told to reset the unit. I did what they told me and it did not work. I replied to them twice that it did not work and I have never heard back from them.

    I love having the ability to view the camera from my smart phone and the easy set up is a huge bonus. However, the app crashes pretty frequently. Specifically when loading motion event clips and when trying to share the cameras with someone. Haven’t been able to get a successful email share sent for days.

    Bought the Guardzilla as a simple monitoring service that I could use for our infant. Everything was free on it, only difference was no cloud but everything was free. Flash forward now and if you buy the system all you can do is see, no voice and no hearing off it. How is it legal to market a device and then switch on those people who actually bought your product. Absolute garbage. I bought a blink system for my outside and it is excellent. Trashing the Guardzilla and buying a blink for the inside. I feel cheated by this company say the least.

    This system was I say WAS. I WAS going to buy 4 outdoor cameras. That’s how happy I was with this. But nope not now ! The system worked. Alerts video alarm talking listening. Push to talk then push to listen a pesky but do - able Then your app upgraded and it hasn’t worked since. It’s a disgrace It won’t connect to my WiFi. Now it won’t recognize my camera. I cant reset it. I even called my WiFi provider. ! It’s not them!!! Everything else is working all Running perfectly!!! It is not working your customer support stinks no answer no message. NO HELP NO SUPPORT! Your set up keeps staring over when the light doesn’t come on green steady. It keeps making you start a set up over and over and over again and again. 2 1/2 hours. Plug in plug reset set up over and over again. !!! Hey it took less time out of the box! I don’t have the time for this. I don’t have my receipt or the box. I work and see thousands of people every week. I’m telling them all if this isn’t resolved oh boy am I going to tell ÁLL I meet

    Crap app and the gear doesn’t work for long if you do get it to work at all. Unstable, undependable, waste of money. Mine worked for about a year and then didn’t. Apparently they can tap in and spy on you as well because of the wording of the licensing agreement. Again. Do not buy.

    If you want a reliable camera app don’t buy this one. Save yourself a lot of frustration and buy a more functional and user friendly camera system. I’ve stuck with it for a couple years hoping it would improve, but it just hasn’t. When I installed my first camera, I stumbled across a bug that let me see the live view from other people’s cameras at random. When I contacted their customer support about it they didn’t believe me until I sent them screen shots and told them how to replicate the issue. They fixed the bug but it surprised me how amateurish their understanding was of their own cameras and app. The cameras don’t start capturing video in time to see activity, so they can’t be used to record anything useful in terms of security footage. Then they charge me for storing these useless 30-second video clips. They seem to delight in making the user interface more difficult to use with every version. The current version has a login screen that uses a background which makes it impossible to see what you’re typing for your user name and password. It’s comical. The audio only works about half the time. And, when I get a motion alert and go to look through the camera it NEVER has connected to show me what’s going on, and that’s when I want to see it most. Then it only stores the clip about 25% of the time (clips where the camera wakes up too late to capture anything important.) I’m not going to advocate for a specific alternative. Just know that Guardzilla is pretty much useless.

    Have owned this camera for about 2 years now. Each time they update the app the usability becomes worse and worse. During this last app update, or should I say downgrade, nothing seems to work correctly. Auto arm has not worked since after several restarts and troubleshooting. App is one of the glitchiest useless apps I have ever used. Please finally pay professionals to develop a better app. It really is a shame since I think the physical camera is nice and has potential.

    The outdoor one wouldn’t even connect to my WiFi that was right outside the window. Not only that, when I installed it, the indoor ones would no longer work. There is nothing from keeping someone from stealing the outdoor camera because it’s just held on by a magnet. I took the outdoor one back the next day and got my money back. The indoor ones are not dependable at all and only work half the time. Time to toss these where they belong (in the garbage) and get something more reliable.

    This is the absolute worst camera ever, it doesn’t stay online EVER it’s useless for 100.00 you can get a much better quality one and cancelling is a joke. Seriously you have to go through all this research to find out you cancel through apples App Store. If I could it would receive negative 5 stars

    Very awful app! I’ve had this camera system for a while now and whenever I need to see what’s going on it’s so slow and doesn’t even load! I use it because of safety while I’m home alone and whenever I have to see what’s going on, the app wants to be so slow and when it doesn’t matter it loads when it wants! It’s like when it detects something that’s when it wants to be slow and stop working. It’s such a bad app and horrible camera. I’m definitely going to switch to another camera and toss this one out.

    I bought a Guardzilla hd cam and had problems setting it up and 2 days later still no reply from them and also no one is ever on their live chat . I don’t recommend anyone purchasing any Guardzilla items . They only want your money even when their equipment doesn’t work.

    Not always reliable. Have 3 Cameras. Been using for almost two years. App is buggy, freezes and force closes itself. The cameras don't connect all the time when trying to view from the app and I have wifi coverage through out entire house. It doesn't arm disarm reliably. I come home and my phone goes crazy. I need to open and disarm it.

    If you’re reading this, it’s probably too late. You are without a doubt holding a Guardzilla unenthusiastically in one hand while questioning your life’s decisions in the other. Back in March, I bought a second Guardzilla to put in my baby’s nursery. When I set it up, I couldn’t view the camera if my phone wasn’t on the same WiFi network as the camera so I called customer service. Their solution was to tell me there was something wrong with my router and that I needed to contact Apple to have them fix it. Mind you, the first Guardzilla I bought was and still is working fine. Flash forward a few months and I circle back around to the issue—I travel a lot for work and I want to watch my baby sleep while I’m away—and Jason Willis in customer support actually listens to my issue and offers to send me a replacement camera. October comes and goes without a replacement so I ask him what happened. He told me he was personally sending one out the next day. After numerous calls and emails, Guardzilla Customer Support has completely ghosted me, leaving me with a $119 piece of made-in-China plastic and absolutely no confidence in their company.
