    Very awful app! I’ve had this camera system for a while now and whenever I need to see what’s going on it’s so slow and doesn’t even load! I use it because of safety while I’m home alone and whenever I have to see what’s going on, the app wants to be so slow and when it doesn’t matter it loads when it wants! It’s like when it detects something that’s when it wants to be slow and stop working. It’s such a bad app and horrible camera. I’m definitely going to switch to another camera and toss this one out.

    I bought a Guardzilla hd cam and had problems setting it up and 2 days later still no reply from them and also no one is ever on their live chat . I don’t recommend anyone purchasing any Guardzilla items . They only want your money even when their equipment doesn’t work.

    Not always reliable. Have 3 Cameras. Been using for almost two years. App is buggy, freezes and force closes itself. The cameras don't connect all the time when trying to view from the app and I have wifi coverage through out entire house. It doesn't arm disarm reliably. I come home and my phone goes crazy. I need to open and disarm it.

    If you’re reading this, it’s probably too late. You are without a doubt holding a Guardzilla unenthusiastically in one hand while questioning your life’s decisions in the other. Back in March, I bought a second Guardzilla to put in my baby’s nursery. When I set it up, I couldn’t view the camera if my phone wasn’t on the same WiFi network as the camera so I called customer service. Their solution was to tell me there was something wrong with my router and that I needed to contact Apple to have them fix it. Mind you, the first Guardzilla I bought was and still is working fine. Flash forward a few months and I circle back around to the issue—I travel a lot for work and I want to watch my baby sleep while I’m away—and Jason Willis in customer support actually listens to my issue and offers to send me a replacement camera. October comes and goes without a replacement so I ask him what happened. He told me he was personally sending one out the next day. After numerous calls and emails, Guardzilla Customer Support has completely ghosted me, leaving me with a $119 piece of made-in-China plastic and absolutely no confidence in their company.

    This is the worst camera ever. I can monitor it while I am at home. Once away it will not connect to any internet at all. I have re-set the device, uninstalled and reinstalled it on my devices, nothing. I have never written a review because most of the time the item I pay for works. This doesn’t even deserve a one star rating. I will give it that because if anything happens to me while I am in my house the police are might be about to use it. Thank God I have other cameras and security measure in place. This needs to be taken off the market!!!

    Save your money and buy a different brand. Nothing worked to get this set up.....and I run LAN cables and configure networks so it’s not a user error, just a cheap product.

    This is the worse camera-app I have ever had. I have 2 other camera systems in and outside, and they never let me down. I bought the 360 and drilled into my ceiling then mounted the camera. It works for a couple of days, then stops. I have to drag my ladder out from the garage just to hit buttons to reconnect. I wish I never waisted $150.00 on this garbage. I put it outside originally, but the camera always fogged up and I couldn’t see a thing. Until they get it together I will use my Arlo and a Elkin cameras.

    The camera is cheap but worse is the App! Moreover the “chat” help ! Group is the worst. If your lucky enough to talk to someone don’t think your problem will be resolved! They don’t return emails and they don’t refund or exchange there subpar products!! How are they getting away with this???

    I had two cameras for over 2 years. They crash a lot an loose the connection. You have to unplug them or sometimes reset them to reconnect. When purchases they advertised free recordings storage on the cloud for a few seconds clips and after a while this was removed without notice.

    I love these camera’s but the app stability just keeps getting worse and worse. Since this latest update every time I open a camera it is very pixelated and then just closes out. So disappointing they can’t get this right. The concept of the 360 camera is great but the execution is lacking.

    But the 180 indoor outdoor security camera. Set it up and for the first two weeks work fine. Then it kept telling me my Wi-Fi signal is weak. Call the cable company they said it’s not. Played with the app some and somehow got locked out of my app and it tells me I must contact WW.Guardzilla support/ supply .. What a joke I have asked numerous times for their customer support team to help me. All they did was send me an email that I have no idea how to use it. I asked them to call me countless times got one phone call unfortunately I missed it they’ve never called back. Now I’m stuck over a month with a security camera that doesn’t work.. Their customer service/ support is a joke...

    I have two indoor cameras. They are very unreliable and when I open the app they one at a time are randomly unavailable or says connected but I get a black picture. But if a picture does show the picture freezes in a few seconds. Both cameras do this randomly but not together. I have had them a couple of years in the beginning with the old app they didn't seem as bad.

    This product is great in theory but the app has actually gotten *worse* since I first got my Guardzilla. Case in point: try toggling between listen and talk. The talk button will suddenly have its microphone icon and text saying talk replaced by a speaker icon and text saying listen. Basically you have two buttons that say listen. Then the app proceeds to freeze and the only way to view the camera again is to force quit the app. Disappointing given how good the app used to be!

    The auto arm wont function how it used to, when i leave my house it wont automatically arm and when i get home it wont disarm, very inconvenient making it useless for emergencies. Please update this bug asap 12/4/18

    Spend the extra 20 bucks and get ring!!!! I installed it in 10 minutes and had ZERO problems!!!! This guardzilla crap I couldnt even get the camera online !!!! WHAT A JOKE.....     What is the deal with these cameras? The latest update wrecked everything. We paid premium for these cameras. My family has 3 households with camera. If I am burglarized is Will Guardzilla pay my homeowners deductible? What gives? Please advise. Have Ring on door and spotlights outside. Maybe I will convert inside cameras over to Ring?

    I will say the only positive about this system is it has a camera, you can hear broken audio and you can have broken audio come through the speaker. I’ll add that none of these “positives” work very often. I’ve had the system for over a year. I had to call customer service to set it up initially. It wasn’t easy. They have updated the app since. It’s not much more user friendly because despite following the prompts exactly (I’m a Medical laboratory scientist which is a highly trained science professional so I’m perfectly capable of working this equipment) it rarely sets up the camera effectively. Either it won’t connect to the camera, it glitches and closes the app, or it will switch from the GuardZilla WiFi connection before it is finished setting up because it disappears from the WiFi list. It is malfunctioning and not working more than it is. When I finally get it set up, eventually the camera indicator light will go solid blue light as if someone is accessing it and the apps video feed will go black. When I purchase a new video security system, it won’t be guardzilla. Hope they get it together for the sake of future and current customers.

    It worked decent at first but then I was unable to connect to the cameras unless I was at home on WiFi...which is pointless. I figured they just needed to be reset AGAIN but didn’t have time to mess with it. Once I tried to reset and reconnect them a couple of weeks later, they still would not work. I contacted Guardzilla support and they said there was a bug causing the issue. So, there has apparently been a bug for several weeks that all of a sudden appeared and nobody at Guardzilla has been smart enough to fix the problem. Still waiting on that update. I wouldn’t bother with these cameras. I also tried one of the new outdoor cameras and took it back to the store the next day.

    NOT working for over a week now. I called and emailed them. I was told sorry for your trouble we are working on a update...I updated this week! So, no connection outside my home, no alerts, no notifications of activity, no recording of activity but I can watch live FROM INSIDE MY HOUSE!!! Very angry. I have 3 useless cameras.

    I bought 2 of these because the price was right. One for my living room and one for my bedroom. I have a mentally ill adult daughter and a grand child on the spectrum living with me, so I am concerned and need to make sure they are safe. At first, they worked like a charm. Then, after a while, I couldn’t get live feed from one of them, so I switched them and for some reason, it worked. Trying to contact the help line is a challenge. Leave a message. Then the videos wouldn’t download. Now I can’t connect at all. Still waiting for a call back. Don’t waste your money. Buy a Nest. I wish I did.

    You can not see the video unless you are connected to home network which makes the camera useless. I emailed company, and they responded that there was an update. However, no update can be located.

    Loved my Gaurdzilla until now it is worthless. The app no longer works to check my cameras at all unless I am in my house, which makes having it useless. Gaurdzilla did some kind of app update, and ever since my iphone will not connect to the app unless I am on my own home wifi network. Contacted them and they said NO ETA. This is not acceptable and very upsetting, and has destroyed my sense of security.

    This camera worked very well for 3 days,, I could connect anywhere at anytime and view,talk,listen and snap pics,,connection was 100% relatable,,,, BUT THEN After 3 days of use now I can only connect to the camera if I am on my home wifi. Iv reinstalled the camera and the app several times only to be right back to the same issue. The listening button quit as well as the siren.. Complete crap. Do not buy! If you just purchased a guardzilla, return it before you waste your time,,,, Maybe,, just maybe they can get these issues fixed,, I'll retract this statement but until then,,, DO NOT BUY OR RETURN IT BEFORE IT STOPS WORKING.

    Usually this app and camera are great. I would give it 5 stars for how it has performed for me in the past. However, this recent update has made it so no one can see anything once they leave the same WiFi that the camera is on. For example, if I am home the camera works great. The moment I leave home It will not load. FIX THE ISSUE!!!! The point of having a camera is that when you leave, you’ll be able to see what is going on. I’m obviously not the only one effected by this update and the fact that it has been almost 5 days since it started and there is still no fix is absolutely unacceptable. FIX IT. Or I will be buying a different product from one of your competitors.

    Have been waiting for customer service to contact me for days now, camera will stop working out of nowhere then try and get ahold of customer service no answer than what you already know and no phone number to get ahold of someone! But a cheaper one that will actually work.

    Husband bought it to give him and I a piece of mind while our children sleep. The ‘listen’ button only works sometimes. It’s so annoying. Frustrating really. The app is up-to-date and everything. The previous version was loads better and easy to manage. Don’t like the new version of the app. Please fix.

    First off, I bought the camera for $100. It specifically says no monthly fees. Too good to be true. I have to pay monthly to save a 30 second video which eventually disappears. It doesn’t record everything. I have the sensitivity set all the way up. It will go days without recording anything. Even when it does record, the video skips a few seconds. You can barley hear a thing when listening to the videos. I’m really disappointed in the product and absolutely do not recommend you waste your money on this deceiving, misleading product. As of this moment, it’s not even working. It just has a black screen and won’t connect to the screen even though it is all connected. Two thumbs DOWN.

    My Guardzilla worked well the first 7 months I had it. Now it doesn’t seem to connect with my WiFi any more. Nothing has changed. I have tried multiple times to get in touch with customer service and still no response after 3 months!

    I updated my app, now, if I am looking at my cameras on my phone, it does not allow me to listen in, talk, and, I can’t press the “siren” sound!! Why do these features no longer work???

    I have 4 cameras and none of them I can watch for an extended period of time without them freezing and no warning is given that I'm no longer connected, I've had these cameras for several months and I have also been using the Alfred App, it seems to be more reliable than the Guardzilla. I'm sure I'm not the only one that has a problem of the screen or whatever it is, and it just freezes. When can y'all work on this problem, I have already bought the cameras and I'm still paying for the subscription to Alfred so it was useless to buy the Gaurdzilla cameras. Update: now the cameras have all stopped working completely and I can’t even get one person to assist me on the phone, the chat or via email. What is going on here. Says they aren’t online and when i call, the recording says to leave a message that someone will get back to me tomorrow. It’s 11:26 am, this is a normal business hour. Update I want my money back that for these trash cameras, I can’t even view them with iOS. It’s been this way for over a week now, how pathetic.

    First off app as become complete trash Good cameras BUT.... Customer service is unbelievably horrible. Even after waiting on hold one hour or more to talk to them twice and even asking for a supervisor, which I still did not speak to. Just because I was asking a question if they did not know the answer to and was willing to provide them images to help me. Still they were nothing but nasty, short, and completely unwilling to even listen or try to help. I can honestly say I am leaving this review because I have never experienced customer service with any company this bad, not even ones that normally have a language barrier when trying to speak to them. These people speak plain English and are completely nasty, like they do not even want to deal with you. It is completely sad because the product could be very great, only a few quirks that I don't like other than the major one with customer service being nonexistent. If they would fix their customer service, which is going to take a lot to do, The only other thing they need to update is there app just a little bit to make it where you can choose certain multiple cameras to arm it wants by selecting one button when leaving the house. When I leave my house I have to select each camera and individually Arm it because I do not want it pulling my GPS location to auto arm them. You should be able to select which cameras you want to arm when you select the arm button, instead of having to go to each camera and select arm. This would be an easy fix on an app update, but it's going to take a lot more than an app update to fix their customer service issue, like I said I spoke to multiple agents and both of them were completely the same nasty, short and inconsiderate. Sad that they are so horrible it forces me to leave a completely bad review, there is no way for me to describe how horrible, which is sad since the product is actually really good.

    Update to previous post. After last update app is still not working. Don’t purchase until you see the app is working properly. It is useless and will be a huge waste of money. I’m now searching for another option for indoor monitoring 😞

    When the camera works.. it works good enough I guess, I get a lot of weird background noice and it’s choppy. The app crashes quite a bit and heaven forbid if you get a new wireless router! Have fun trying to repair the camera to the app...
  • Unreliable & Terrible Update!!!

    This update “looks” good but that’s all. If you have more than one camera you have to go to each camera to view/delete. Needs a combined “library” to see the records. Also the settings for each camera are a joke. You can set them but as soon as you leave the settings they revert back. Cannot record to SD card because it keeps turning off recording capabilities. These bugs need updated ASAP!!!

    My ex bought the camera for me so we both had it set up on our phones, we broke up I tried to change the password, even changed the email address but nothing worked she was still able to access the camera. I’ve tried to contact tech support to see how to change the password, they are never available. You send an email they never respond. I moved into a new apartment hooked up to new WiFi only for her to still be able to access the camera and see into my new home. This was supposed to make me feel comfortable after the horrible scary break up I had and it just made me very uncomfortable and on edge. I unplugged it and threw it away. You all are a waste of money!!
