  • foto sharing doesn't work

    By ozgur2017
When I try to email a picture from the photos app 90% of the time it doesn't work the first time. I need to do it a second time. When I use the native Mail app it works without a problem.
  • Outlook

    By Banana1929;7
Basic and easy to use. Would love to access older emails when I search through for specific threads though. Seems like it's limited to how far back you can see
  • Address problem

    By akram1980678
Hi. The problem is, when I try forward message and put Email address, the address are not display automatically as like when I compose new email. Resetting of account doesn’t works.
  • Slow, especially Calendar

    By Highlands Mike
I’m trying to use this app with my O365 account. Connects fine and email runs OK, but Calendar is near unusable. Slow response time and seems to sit on “Updating...” status forever. This app has always had performance issues, especially since iOS 13 was released. I like the functionality, just wish it would run better!
  • Can’t change default font

    By Zen367
I don’t see anyway to change the font to something like Calibri or change the font size. The default font and size looks like something a grammar school child might use.
  • Add drag drop for OneDrive

    By AntonStr
Please add drag and drop from Outlook to OneDrive in split view. Can’t have this missing in this day and age, it’s not ok.
  • Still no integration with Siri face of AppleWatch

    By Vernor1
I keep missing meetings and appointments :-(
  • Dark - Light Appearance

    By Maher007
The app works fine for me, one thing I’m having a problem with is it doesn’t follow the system appearance on iOS so it doesn’t automatically switch between dark and light appearances so every time I have to go to the outlook app settings and change the appearance manually from there. Please Microsoft fix this annoying bug. It’s on all my iOS devices, iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
  • Set up a rule to mailing will be better.

    By jtnl2006
    As title
  • More Options

    By Matteixxxxxxxxx
I have started using outlook recently, and I’m enjoying my experience so far. However, I do wish that there was more personalization and options from the desktop application such as scheduling emails.
  • Reason for a 1 star rating

    By crazy e caos
This app works fine however it works separately from my IOS. It’s the only app that doesn’t appear in settings. Because it works separately It won’t notify you when you are receiving any emails. You need to log in on your own accord to see if you received anything . If yahoo figured this out how could you guys haven’t.
  • FIX THIS!!

Imposible to find an option for blocking or reporting spam/other mails! Very annoying when you can only delete without any consequences...
  • Easy to use

    By user1776November3
Great app and easy to navigate
  • Great on outlook especially from work.

  • Badge count wrong

    By _ŒÂ◊
    Updates when opened.
  • Wipes my inboxes every 24 hours

    By PFC Aldayuz
Noticed over the last week my inboxes are disappearing. Extremely annoying!
  • Review

    It’s a very good application.
  • Needs to be updated less intrusively

    By Bs nickname bs
When looking at multiple posting emails it reloads each page now. Has happened several updates and then they update again to fix it. How about you test before post updates?
  • Missing important features

    By Vin787
Please make it where we get notified for new emails that are set with rules to automatically get moved. If not a notification; at least a “badge” showing a new email came so we know to check the other folders which don’t show unless you click on the top left corner. Calendar does not give access to shared public calendar which are shared among departments. Definitely a con of this app; we should be able to access all work features on the go; more so post Covid-19 then ever before.
  • Why

    By buffy f.
Why does Microsoft feel it needs to incorporate a Pride switch in settings. This last update snuck it in. Why??? So stupid, this app is a tool and should not be forcing views.
  • Love the app but awful bugs

    By Schnayblay
Every time I try and reply to an email the keyboard slides away and the view says draft saved. Makes the app unusable.
  • Email

    By zhoule19
Honestly, outlook is the best E-mail since i was a student , now I’m working in a top 500 company, the reason i join is the company using outlook , or base in outlook, that way you might see me crazy, maybe, my way , this is a style! Outlook style 🤣
  • Stay Away - Waste of Time

    By Shucjdjebxjckfjcxbdjsossc
This app is missing some of the most basic features that users expect: - You can’t view or search for messages that are more than 1 month old - You can’t view secure attachments or secure signatures (smime not supported) - When you set your inbox to show newest emails on top, conversations still show newest on bottom, with no option to change it - These issues have existed for a long time and thousands of people have complained but Microsoft shows no signs of fixing any of them. The built in Mail app handles all of these things just fine. I had hoped to keep my work email in a separate app, but the more I use Outlook, the more problems I find, and they add up to make the app a huge waste of time to try and use.
  • Worst iOS mail app

    By Milesritzy
I was looking for a mail app to help me get mails fast and I was very disappointed with the stupidity portrayed by this app. I got a very important email after three hours. Well, I deleted it and I will never even in my next life try to download such crap. The stupid app does the same thing even on windows 10 making me wonder how y’all got so much positive ratings. Crappy!
  • can’t download email after updating outlook on ipad

    By outlook update bugs
I just updated my outlook app on ipad and it turned out not only the previous emails were gone, but also on email can be sent out. The main page always showed “updating ...”. synchronization totally didn’t work. How could that be possible? Another upgrade bug?
  • No control over storage or days to sync

    By ghkhvdhsbsbb
App is great but no control over storage being used or days of email to be stored
  • Still Second-tier

    By drjwr
Now sadly forced to use this app since my hospital moved to Win 10 and Office. Ever since MS cannibalized Acompli (mail with focused Inbox) and Sunrise (calendar) to cobble this app, Outlook has failed the professional standard of other MS apps: When MS finally awakened and realized that a real monthly view was needed and added that to the calendar section, the calendar was much improved; only to be much diminished by juvenile graphics that can’t be toggled off, such as Google calendar provides for its users. For example, Outlook displays a mortar board with tassel when an “eye exam” is scheduled. The July 2017 rebuild of Acompli gave us a clunky, sliding shelf apparatus that obscured the inboxes, and came with other cutesy changes that made life more difficult: Google mail accounts all were marked by the Google “G” rather than email name, which meant that they couldn’t be distinguished one from another — can you say “asleep at the wheel”; and, “reply all” was the default reply. Customer howling forced these latter two problems to be somewhat corrected — distinguishing the Google accounts received a dog-ugly solution — but the nauseatingly busy shelf remains. Poor grammar? See an empty mailbox that says, “Nothing left to read, well played!” That’s a comma splice, which usually gets corrected by junior high. The text does, however, match the goofy background artwork. Are there any positives? The search engine works well and the app integrates well with other MS apps. Speaking of other MS apps, were I on the Outlook team, I would be embarrassed to meet with the teams from Word, Excel, or OneDrive.
  • Good but heavy/slow even on new phones

    By justletmeenteranavailablename
They combined calendar and email but left out tasks... (I’m aware of ToDo but that’s much less functional than outlook task feature or ToDoist). It works but hangs up ALL THE TIME! To the point that finding and logging onto laptop is better.
  • App closes when searching email

    By Justin19921992
    Please fix
  • aliases?

    By ImranMoney
What happened to adding/using email aliases for iCloud? It just disappeared. Please bring it back
  • Always saves replies as drafts

    By iDaveG4
Great for receiving messages, but it doesn’t seem to want me to reply. While typing replies it closes my message and saves it as a draft. It’s infuriating! Doesn’t seem to do that on iPadOS - just iOS.
  • Great for Organizing

    By StellarHades67
This app is wonderful for keeping organized while on the go, I have a few emails that I like to keep a constant eye on, and outlook allows me to check multiple emails while out of the house.
  • Absolute garbage.

    By ZoeDrae
I don't know what all these great reviews are about, Outlook has caused me nothing but trouble. I've had to delete and reinstall the app twice because I stopped receiving emails (important emails I cannot afford to miss.) I also can't open additional inboxes when I use Outlook on my laptop, and instead receive an error message. Every time. I've tried to sign out and sign back in to my other email so I can view my inbox but once I type the second email, it takes me to a page where I need to provide my password, only to greet me with my first email. I can't even do a simple thing like sign out and sign back in so I can view different inboxes. Outlook is absolute garbage and has caused me WAY more trouble than any other email service. Gmail is the best email provider ever and I highly recommend using it to save you hours of headaches and frustration and missed emails.
  • Great but...

    By AdamC101991
How are you guys missing the high importance or confidential options for emails??
  • Keyboard

    By Iobxchick
The keyboard disappears while I'm trying to type an email.
  • Contacts

    By TxEngr
I just can’t understand why Microsoft wouldn’t have a feature to sort contacts by last name like can be done on both and outlook desktop. Alphabetical sorting by first name is just dumb imho.
  • Contact avatar is not supported as advertised

    By Midwilshire
From the support team: Kindly know that syncing the avatar is not supported. The app may sync avatars of the GAL contacts, i.e those contacts which are on the same domain However, you can suggest this feature through our user voice forum (Settings > Help & Feedback > Suggest a Feature). If there is anything more I can do, let me know. Thanks. Please make sure to update your app screenshots, and not falsely advertise add picture next to the email message.
  • Better but needs a few things

    By 801tkpc
Updated 07/05/2020 It is so much better than it was. An improvement would be to imbed contacts on the iOS version. Contacts are impossible to manage coming from so many different sources. Updated 08/08/2017 It is difficult to tell as it is constantly updating. This is worse than the blue screen of death. Your software engineers need to walk in my shoes as I now go on google and access my mail on exchange server as I can get your software to stop going blank and coming back either on my iPad or iPhone. Update 07/14/2017 Latest update is in constant update. Such a shame for a product hat was better than Apple, but now gives me pause to wonder why I am giving it so much slack. Needs plenty of help. Update 03/05/2017 From Cumbersome to terrible. It is hard to believe that something that was just OK can suddenly turned into something that is worst than mediocre. I am no longer able to forward a message without an error and a constant message reminding me of the problem. Please fix This software from the standpoint of a calendar has a long way to go to come up to the standard of its replacement. Microsoft should hang its head in shame to buy out a company and place a deadline of the software and then have no real alternative. The mail server function is difficult and hard to get around in. It is not a patch on the Desktop Outlook and should not be named Outlook for this reason alone.
  • App deleted all of my mail back to 2018

    By holosys
App deleted all of my mail back to 2018. If you save your email for archival purposes and spent a lot of money on extra storage space for storing mail, avoid this app. This app will cost me weeks of recovery.
  • Worst email service.

    By lordmats0o
The only email service where you can’t block people. No option to block anywhere. What a ghetto service. Yahoo email is even better.
  • Outlook eMail

    By ironman-12
Easy setup for multiple accounts, spell check and Focused mail. Love it
  • Ghost notification

    By picked an apple
Intermittently keeps showing a notification for emails that are not there. For example it will show a notification of one unread message on the home screen icon and then when you open the app there’s nothing there.
  • Emails staying in outbox

    By buttersnappers
I don’t know what’s going on. But every time I send an email it either stays in outbox and never sends or takes HOURS to send. Completely ridiculous and happens everywhere I go so it’s not an internet issue
  • No Notifications for folder

    By Spiegal's Dad
Add an option of getting notifications for folder or group similar mail from same id in a single mail thread as gmail does for 100 mails from the same thread.. this is so frustrating that emails are not grouped and if you put them in folder there is no option of turning on notifications in ios
  • So so

    By scruffy review
I don’t like how the app doesn’t let you file to a specific folder.
  • best application

    By yazeed aloqaily
but lag and when i open applications it’s slowly we need improvement
  • Terrible search

    By megaman422
Not possible to search a folder. All or nothing
  • No drag and drop?

    By Dvlrbbt
Maybe I’m missing something here, but as far as I can tell Outlook does not allow dragging and dropping of files with either the Files app or Google Drive in split-view. The focus/other view is not well implemented, and often made seeing email harder rather than easier (although not being able to see an email is I guess a form of dealing with your inbox overload). There is an email filing integration with another web app I use that is available on the desktop version that is awesome, but unfortunately it appears that integration isn’t available on the ipad and ios versions (not Microsoft’s fault, it’s a third party integration, but really disappointing nonetheless). In the absence of a unique feature (i.e. some integration only available with Outlook) the other third party mail apps such as Spark or just the stock Apple mail app seem like much better choices for ipad and ios. I’m not sure why this app gets the overwhelmingly positive reviews both here and by tech reviewers online as it doesn’t really seem to be anything special and appears to be missing some core ipad and ios features, although again maybe i’m just missing something.
  • Issue with gmail

    By berta1D
It won’t sync to my gmail. My emails aren’t loading.
