  • Problems

    By patmay1229
I had a membership a few years back and had nothing but problems with the website, sending cards and finally gave up. I even bought the software in 2009 & 2011; I found the 2009 easier to use than the 2011. Very disappointed...
  • Frustration

    By Sybaiba
I have been paying every month for the service of cards. e Every time it will mot let me send a card because of my email or password is in working. I want this fixed since I’m paying for it. My email or password has not changed. I’m supposed to send my 88 yearold gentlemen home bound. Please fix the problems.
  • Can’t send via messenger

    By Mrmolin
Of course the day I want to send an E-card from my i-phone via Messenger, it crashes 😡😡! There is no-one from Halmark I could contact to ask for support .
  • Website and app are annoying

    By TheNardDawg
You should at least tell the customers that you have to pay for the freaking cards before they go through all the work of making it. I made a card for my girlfriend who is sick and when it got done and I clicked send it just said “One moment, your ecard has not been sent” then it wants me to pay $30 for a gosh dang ecard thing that I don’t know how it works or even sends. There should be an option for a try for free for your first time using because this is a load of crap. Don’t use this app it's a rip off.
  • Doesn’t work anymore

    By rgyimo,iff
Was pleased with app until recently quit working. No cards will come up. Everything says we can’t find match even under your own categories. Has become a worthless app.
  • Christmas cards?

    By ooooooo39
Are u so PC you’ve forgotten?
  • Clunky addressing

    By Jos ephM
I could only enter an address manually. Though I could open the Hallmark address book, I found no way to utilize it to address the card. I’ll have to return to the desktop
  • Not accessible using voiceover on iPhone

    By ALG7867
Please make this app more accessible two users who are blind or visually impaired. While some of the features in the app are accessible such as choosing a category, choosing the cards themselves is very inaccessible. Please put text labels on the card so one knows what they are selecting..
  • Technical issues

    By jsjl1529
I like the cards and use it quite a bit but: 1) saving email addresses is ridiculous! Need to make that easier. 2) so many times I open the app and I can’t access anything. I’m tired of deleting app the re- downloading!
  • Please add SMS/MMS feature.

    By sacteam
Ecards are nice and creative. It’d be a 5 stars if we can text ecards.
  • Disappointed

    By Chinlee47
I really thought that this app would offer cute cards similar to what you see in the Hallmark cards in stores. I have sent very few that I like because they are generally not funny or cute, or just corny. They have had the same selection for the two years I have had the app, and I just do not see new ones often, and they do not offer a bigger selection. I do like the fact that you can send them to Facebook or the person’s email address.
  • Daily dose of encouragement

    By Havinfun1
This is a wonderful way to send college students encouraging thoughts!! I love it
  • Hallmark app.

    By Nightsigh
I used to love this app. Now all of a sudden I can no longer send a card to someone on FB. It will only allow me to send it to messenger. I’ve tried several times to see if I can fix this with no luck. Don’t waste your money!!
  • In app purchases

    By kittyblack14
Nowhere in the App Store or during the card creation or sign up process does it say you will be required to subscribe. It waits until you hit send and then prompts you to subscribe. Doesn’t even give you the option to just pay for the one card.
  • Problems!

    By TJ sjb
When the card shows up in an email the first choice to play it is “Pick up my ecard”. When I click on it, it takes me to the Hallmark website where a little circle which says “loading” spins around and around FOREVER! After five minutes of watching the circle I quit. In addition, I chose the ONLY Peanuts Anniversary card. One only? This is endeavor is certainly NOT one of Hallmark’s greater achievements.
  • Doesn’t work through Facebook

    By clammac
When I try to post a card to my Facebook account it comes up with this error: “App Not Setup: This app is still in development mode, and you don’t have access to it. Switch to a registered test user or ask an app admin for permission.” Honestly, the only reason I purchased and downloaded the app was to use with my Facebook. I just completed two hours of phone conversations with the developer company and then Apple and iTunes. Hats off to them all for their cordial action. Awaiting my full refund but it may take up to ten days.
  • Poor Integration With eCards Online

    By lwilkin
I have been subscribing to Hallmark Cards online for several years and I have always enjoyed the unlimited ability to send cards to anyone at any time. I was excited when I found out about this mobile app version of Hallmark eCards because I am not always at home when I realize that I have to send someone a card for a special occasion. However, every single time that I have attempted to send an e-card I have received an error message stating that my Hallmark eCard subscription “expired” next year in Feb., 2019. The app will not let me proceed to send my e-card until I “renew” my very active subscription. This app has proven itself to be worthless to me.
  • Not working.

    By Still learning 67
I can no longer send cards. If this is because I need to renew my subscription, I would have appreciated a notice. I thought I was on automatic renewal, so I hope I’m not being charged for an app that won’t work.

  • Hallmark e cards

    By seasundoll
Paid the required amount for one year’s subscription. The app is THE WORST one I have ever experienced. Most of the cards are silly, stupid, and not to the Hallmark standard. And sending one to appear on my FB page is a morning endeavor - if it makes it there at all. Wish it were different because I always choose Hallmark cards to put in the mail.
  • Worst App EVER!

    By xo&$/-867!?k-&$34567
Terrible! Screwed up Mother’s Day becsuse they dont have proper band width and offered lame apologies, but no compensation! Don’t subscribe! Use American Greetings instead! I will fight the bill and never use them!
  • Waste of time

    By jadey803
This app doesn’t work, poorly designed. Lags and lags when trying to set up a new account or reset password. I spent an hour between the website and the app trying to sign in and it’s terrible. After giving up I tried an E-card from American Greetings and it works flawlessly. Hallmark can do a lot better.
  • Charged me money, but doesn’t work

    By Tx_Hobbes
Constantly has errors when trying to send a card after paying for a subscription. Basically, they have not built a system that scales to periods of high demand - which is typically when you would want to send a card. Don’t pay them money. You will regret it if you do.
  • Mother’s Day

    It won’t open.
  • Unsatisfied

Took my money and then I couldn’t send a card no matter what I tried. Kept telling me to subscribe which I checked my subscriptions and it was active.
  • Hello! App is “Out of Service”

    By Kathryn8888
Normally, this app is fine. Today, it’s empty. No cards visible under any type! Until it’s fixed, 1 Star!
  • If You Want Something Funny ... Move On

    By GrannyDar
Unimaginative, boring, unsophisticated, straight from the 40’s, graphics look like 5th graders did them. I found 3 cards and they were mediocre at best. I got my monies worth but how embarrassing for a company like Hallmark. Times must be tough for them to put out a product this substandard. I can’t understand someone who rates these cards above a 1 star. I guess all I can say is you need to get out more and I’m no spring chicken ... pushing close to seventy. The App itself works fine, very simplistic but functional. What doesn’t work is the content.
  • Very dissappointed!

    By St. Bernardus
This app has loads of potential but it doesn’t work, at least for me. The cards are fine. The personalization is fine. The integration/import function with the contacts on your device does not work, at least for me. However the more frustrating problem is that it does not send the cards and reverts to the payment screen even after you pay for a year. I have paid once through Apple and once directly through the website and it still does not work. I have requested cancellation and full refund. I am very disappointed in Hallmark.

    By Dimple Jayne
This is a waste of money. Can’t sent cards off. I wish I could get my money back!!
  • Won't run after subscribing

    By vbchrisj
I subscribed to a year of service (you have to subscribe in order to send the cards), now the app won't even run! It locks up on both my iPad AND my iPhone! Until they get this fixed, don't waste your time or money on this app. Disappointing given that it's Hallmark!
  • Not accessible with VoiceOver screen reader.

    By Hilary Reed
I am completely blind, so being able to send greeting cards without assistance is important to me. While certain parts of the app, such as the iMessage app are accessible, the cards themselves are not accessible. VoiceOver will say things like view a label, or image view a label, which provides no information about the card all, not even what occasion or holiday it was for. Please fix this. I have also sent an email with an attached video to Ecards Support to further illustrate what is going on. Thank you again.
  • They won’t let me cancel

    By Green Bay, WI
I wish I never signed up for this app. The cards in my opinion are not that great and when I try to cancel it will not let me
  • Don’t buy.

    By Cacohen01
The Hallmark ECard app and the subscription is worthless. If it would tell you that the ecard failed to send then you could re-send but it doesn’t. It always tells you that the ecard was sent. You wait and wait for the recipient to open the card. Finally you call them and ask if they got it, they say no. You have them Check Spam. Nope. You re-send to the same email address. Nothing. You re-send to the SAME email address a third time. And finally the say they got it. If you care enough to send cards I recommend American Greetings.
  • Hallmark Ecard App

    By Wobby;-)
This app is so bad, I find it extremely difficult to believe that it is permitted to carry the honorable name of Hallmark! All I wanted was to send my little granddaughter an E birthday card. She never got it, since I learned after trying that I had to PAY for a subscription, I tried again. She waited and waited, but, it never arrived. I refuse to pay a dime of my fee,and as a faithful VIP customer of Hallmark stores for many years, this is a huge disappointment Carolyn Fisher
  • TEXT!!!!

    By Laney1733
I like this app. There's a good selection of really cute cards. I'll even pay $5 a month for it. BUT, I want to be able to send these cards via text!!!. When I can do that, you'll get five stars!
  • Can’t send via text message?

    By Ghouliegirl
Love Hallmark and their cards, especially Hoops and Yo-yo! But... This app says compatible for iPad, iPhone, etc. The only choices I have to send cards are Facebook Messenger, Facebook or email. I have several family members who either have iPhones and/or do not use Facebook. It would be great if I could send cards by regular sms message. When I tried to use an email from contacts, the address didn’t show correctly in the send field. I had to type it in with no spaces, so that was annoying as well. Please add sms message sending and fix the contact email addressing and it will be five stars!

    By hanamuryuh
Have had for one year, loved the cards but few of the cards I sent could be opened by the recipients. Now when I get a reminder by email that my membership is due to cancel and “just click here” it is only a TRICK only to have my membership RENEWED for another year added to my credit card. It involves TIME AND HASSLE! Probably not resolved! People: Do NOT DOWNLOAD!
  • Free???

    By Screamin' Nana
Don’t advertise “Free” when it’s not. It’s free to look at all day long. *sigh*. If you want to send it, you have to pay. I wish there was a designated website just to post apps like this. VERY disappointed in Hallmark. They should be way above all that.

  • Hallmark ecard app

    By Acer587
Mostly I like this app. I did sign up for ecards for a year. I like that you can choose when the card is sent, they notify you that it has been sent and when it has been opened. There is a decent selection of cards, but I don’t understand why there are other holiday cards mixed in with the Christmas cards. The only thing I don’t like is that you can list all of your email addresses on the contact page, but the card doesn’t access that page when you need to enter the address to send the card. I still have to go to my contacts in my address book and enter the entire address on the address line. The contacts page is a waste of space.
  • Terrible App

    By LumberGuy1
I received an alert for Veterans Day, so I go into the app and they have NO cards available.
  • Should be better for the name HALLMARK

    By Angel w/a
They have some nice cards but the report on who opens their card doesn’t work much. Has bugs that need to be fixed, still. I have been using them for several years because I haven’t found a better app for eCards.
  • Hallmark ecard app

    By Mag???
This app is a waste of money. When sending it keeps sending for long periods of time, hours, and often never gets there. The only way to tell if a card is received is to get a response from recipients or ask them. Most time it is not received.😡
  • Cannot sign on!

    By Tlh1203
It is not connected to webpage. Wants you to accept ad tracking. Very poor app! Very disappointed in Hallmark!
  • Not bad. Good.

    By touristinthecity
No free cards here. No connection to membership in the Hallmark card store or ornament club. Also, the web site offers a 2 year discount plan not listed in this app. But the app display is easy, the card selections are adequate or even nice, there is a modest group of typefaces, the Hallmark name reflects strength and thought, the unlimited cards feature is inviting, and most importantly the whole package makes it likely I’ll use it. My wife likes to send e-cards. Now I’ll flood her with some. I can share the subscription with my family so she’ll certainly card me back. Ah nuts.
  • Tricky

    By wiltedholly
You can't even send ONE card without paying, forget about unlimited! Yet they let you go through the whole process of choosing and making a card before that little detail becomes clear
  • Good App

Need to be able to include links in the body of the message.
  • Hallmark e-cards

    By D. Hill
In terms of concept Hallmark e-cards is a great application. It sets itself apart from other stationary applications with the ability to send e-cards from various pop culture brands or with unique messages and effects. The app goes even further giving you the chance to customize the primary and background colors as well as the text. E-cards that can be chosen range from music playing in the background to photorealistic characters moving around in sync with the card's message. The app does a good job of making it easy to browse card categories by a listing of occasions and a gallery one could go through quickly. The app also allows users to save cards to keep in mind. The process of sending a card is easy with a simple type of the recipient's e-mail address or just selecting from your address book if you choose to import them into the app after you are done customizing and writing your message. The app also has a great support category with the ability to read answers to questions you may have or contact support directly. I do have some minor quibbles with the app and that is mainly the pricing structure or how it can be interpreted. The app presents two options. One is for $1.50 a month and another is for 4.50 a month for a year. I am not sure the app allows users to pay separately for a e-card without having to modify not being charged on a regular basis. This seems unclear to me. This particular problem is more subjective but I would like the ability to shop from all of Hallmark's card collection from the app. Or at the least make select e-cards available to be customized in physical form. I think some of the selections are that good and unique to where you would want to send it to someone who does not had a computer and would want them to showcase it. It only makes sense for Hallmark to make a great e-card application but with a few tweaks I think this could become the best stationary application.
  • Doesn't Connect to Even Let Me Pay

    By baileycash97
$5 to send a card? Fine. It doesn't even complete the transaction, so I can't send the card. Useless.
