  • Doesnt work with Chrome/is very inconsistent

    By Spacecat44
If this actually worked it would be great. It started off great, which gave a false sense of protection, but now its garbage. Had to take it off the iphone because the scheduling wasn't working (now use Ourpact). On the PC many of the “blocked” sites would still be accessible. It doesn't work at all with Chrome. I have to use Microsoft’s scheduling and app blocking ability as Qustodio doest work.
  • Best for Android not iPhone

    By Hypernican
Qustodio seems great for Android but not for iPhone. The app doesn't show content and my kids don't have Facebook accounts. But Q kept showing most traffic to Facebook and Amazon. This didn't make sense.
  • Doesn’t work

    By Zomdee3
I wanted to like it, in fact I used the free version and trial and loved it so I bought the year subscription. I needed it to monitor my daughters texts and fb and limit her time on her phone. Turns out it doesn’t actually monitor all her texts, even though I have everything enabled. I can see about 1 in every 10 texts. Also, the time on it is off, I set my daughters phone for a limit of 2 hrs a day and one morning we woke up and she had used 45 min of time, yet her phone had been with me. Wish I could get a refund, this isn’t what it seems.
  • Worthless and overpriced

    By vegasmom24
No content reports, no way of searching history, no peace of mind! Garbage! Absolute garbage
  • Horrible app and support

    By Qustodiofeedback
Only problems with the app and support!! 1- Qustodio reports that the monitored phones are using some apps that are NOT even installed on these phones!! 2- it blocks sites that are NOT intended to be blocked (educational sites like Google classroom)!! 3- phones are NOT blocked after the set time of usage is finished. With small trick, children are able to still use their phones. Not all the apps of course but still they can be holding it. 4- horrible support!! No phone calls are offered (which I now understand why). Only email that they only reply the next day or after the WE if you email them on Friday!! 5- not professional: they don’t reply when you’re asking about a bug that happened to you then they pretend they don’t get what are you asking for when you continue pushing to get their feedback and when you send them pictures showing your issues; they finally confess that it is a limitation that they are working on it!!
  • From the perspective of a teen

    By sofia is my god
I have had this app downloaded by my parents for about 6 months now and let me say for one it slows down your phone like you wouldn’t believe. My phone is practically a stone tablet with some apps engraved in it. Secondly battery life has gone down about 60% now which is really annoying if I’m out with friends or just out of the house or away from a place to charge my phone. It is also just another way for parents to be in complete control and helicopter over their kids. I am 16 and I feel the lengths my parents go through to constantly watch my every move is more than excessive. They already are on my every move and this seems like just another way to take away almost every last ounce of my freedom. For a little kid this app would be great but I think it is far too much for anyone 14+. With my personal opinions on the app along with the constant lagging, crashing, and slowness of my devices caused by this app I would by far not recommend this to ANYONE. And as a parent I highly advise you give you child more basic freedoms as it more often than not does much more good than bad for them. let them be a product of their own success not a product of your own management. Ps: app is also unbelievably easy to be altered on the device
  • Don’t bother using

    By Tigsen
I set this up for my teenage son to simply limit his computer time. More than half the time he is on his computer it doesn’t think he is online and this doesn’t properly limit his time. This happens on two different computers. I will be looking for some other software.
  • I hate this app

This app is a complete waste! Children feel that their parents no longer trust them! It’s an absolute invasion of privacy. It just goes to show you how desperate parents are to go back in time and erase technology. Do NOT get this app.
  • Works well to give control and visibility

    By LarryJC
Love the new app that lets you quickly see what the kids are doing and controlling their access. Much improved. Recommended for all parents.
  • Thankful family

    By swingbeach
When you give a child an android phone, you give a child the world. My husband and I simply want a window into our children’s world. This app allows just that, a window. We do not block sites but are able to see what sites our children spend time on, we are able to talk through what they see. We do use the restricted use time frame and noticed it would shut down their online use 30 minutes prior to what we desired, so we simply added another 30 Minutes. This app is not perfect, but for our family it is a great help. The accountability this provides for each one of us is helpful, it opens doors for communication and is laying a foundation for “how to” do this “Here s phone, you now have full access to the entire world” Our three teens embrace and know this app is on their computers and phones. They have each thanked us for placing simple restrictions on their phone and computer use.
  • Potential for greatness but major misses

    By KeatingFamily
Anyone who has looked at multiple tools like this will appreciate the detailed possibilities with Qustodio. The problem lies in execution. Support is pretty lame and their answer is always “reinstall the app” which means that delightful fight you had with your kid about spying on them will be repeated over and over. Overall a great tool for monitoring a willing subject that desires accountability but get ready for repeated conflict when using it with someone who resents it.
  • Worthless for IOS and Social Media Users

    By RD122
As other Apple users have said, the premium version does not offer time limits on specific apps and keeps showing FB usage when FB hasn’t even been downloaded on the child’s device. The biggest issue for us, however, is that there are serious problems when my teen tries to open her social media apps (Instagram and Snapchat). They simply do not open on her phone when this monitoring app is installed. Despite logging in and out of the apps, uninstalling and reinstalling them, and contacting the developer, whose fix was to “open and close each social media app at least 5 times”, the social media apps don’t open. This app seems to be geared more towards android users, and has caused more friction in our home over screen / devices than we even had before getting it.
  • Does not perform well

Kids are able to bypass on iPhone
  • It’s not a one stop shop... but...

    By TracyB2Z
I have had several monitoring apps and it is one of the easiest to use. The only thing it doesn’t do that I wish it did, is monitor text and phone calls on the iPhone. I use it with screen time and it does what I need for now. The only thing I hate is that you are consistently asked to rate the app. Almost gave you 3 stars just for that annoying feature. If you worked to change some things.. I think your rating would increase.
  • It’s only a great app if you have an Android

    By Sammie punch face
$55 for premium and it doesn’t offer premium services to iPhone users. Pretty disappointing. Also, very glitchy because I can not see my sons location with using this app on his iPhone. Overall useless for iPhone users. & ps... to the review who says this app is from hell because her friends parents don’t trust her... oh well. Parents aren’t supposed to trust kids we’re supposed to help them become productive adults and prepare them for life and the filth available to you through modern technologies is what we don’t trust... it’s too accessible and has to be monitored or your brains will go to crap. You sound spoiled. Your friend will be fine.
  • Barely worth the price

    By Kelley U
Been using this on two kids for a month. It’s buggy and quite limited in what you can achieve. We get inaccurate application use regularly where iPhone says child is using Facebook when we know they aren’t. Usage times in reports by app don’t reconcile to totals. You can’t block groups of apps like “all games limited to 1 hour” so instead have to limit each application separately. When app time pilot kicks in, it closes child’s app without any message or warning. To child just seems like their laptop glitched. Only reason I haven’t yet cancelled service is at least I have an idea about how much screen time they are getting but for mobile limitations we are just using Apple ScreenTime since Qustodio is glitchy and limited.
  • No tech support

    By KroezeKrazy
I’ve had problems from the start and was told they’re working on the problem it’s been 5 days and still nothing. Now giving me the runaround about a refund. Save yourself the money and headache and steer clear of Qustodio. No bueno
  • Annoying iPad quirk

    By docschrock
When the app locks the iPad for time limits, it partially signs out of Apple ID and also rearranges the app icons. Please fix.
  • Any idea on how to use this app?

    By Efaulk03
I’ve installed and uninstalled 6 times and every time I login I get “no internet connection”. I’m on LTE and Wifi and it doesn’t matter.
  • Qustodio is malware

    By drhggvifhu
My father installed Qustodio on my phone thinking it would be great for tracking us. However, the information my father is getting is all fake. I don’t use Facebook! Eventually, my father is going to falsely accuse me of watching porn. Qustodio does not give alerts even when the child is doing something very illegal online. I could watch porn on my phone right now and my dad will never know. Back to the malware stuff. My phone keeps randomly disconnecting from the internet and I am very sure that my father would not set it at those times. My phone requires me to have a passcode set. I just set it to 123456. YouTube will not show autocomplete when searching. The app icon is nowhere to be found in the home screen, and I don’t know if it is because my father deleted it or not. I think Qustodio is spyware because the phone says there is a VPN being used when it is connected to the internet. The purpose of this VPN is for data collection. Qustodio does not need to collect real info from the VPN to display fake info. It is probably sending the real info to Qustodio so they can track what everyone is doing. Because the app icon is gone, I cannot delete the app without a factory reset or a device explorer on a PC. The App Store says it isn’t installed, so it may have left things behind when deleting the app.
  • Ok

    By Mougsy GOAT
I have this as a kid and I know how to disable it. You have to Go to ur setting and go on general, then click profile and then go on the Qustudios one. And then just remove it.
  • It doesn’t do anything at all

    By fgrgffgr
It supposed stop you from being able to play on you iPad or phone but it doesn’t at least make a attempt to.
  • What happened?

    By NEMamaBear
I started my paid subscription in August and have loved the app and recommended it to many friends. I don’t know what happened, but at the end of January it started acting up. It quits working on my daughters phone every 5-6 days, so I have to uninstall it and reinstall every week. Hopefully this is a very fixable problem for the creator because he/she is going to lose a lot of customers if it doesn’t get fixed. I will give them a couple more weeks to fix before getting a refund.
  • Unreliable connectivity. No recourse.

    By marcuslaughter
The app keeps crashing. Website won’t work. Been that way for 2 days. Not so much as an email from Qustodio explaining what’s going on. It’s shameful.
  • App not the best

    By BekSay29
There are a lot of issues with this app. It will lock my son out of his phone long before his daily time limit or his bed time hours. The response from customer service is always to delete and reinstall the app, which is obnoxious. I did the uninstall and reinstall a few days ago and it was working just fine, but suddenly it isn’t showing any of his activity (what he spent his time doing on his phone) even though he used it for four hours. All in all, I’m not pleased with this app and will look for something else once renewal time comes.

  • Best child watching app ever!

    By Cbncbncbncbnnoahnoahnoah
Does a wonderful job allow parents to monitor activity kids are doing and gives reports on how much time they are spending on what apps. Great product!
  • please don't do this to your older children

    By TheMajesticPotato7777777
this app literally has made my relationship with my parents crumble. i constantly feel like they don't trust me, and that i have zero privacy. at seventeen, i believe trust and privacy are important things for me to have, and i've become more distant and cold towards my parents due to the lacking of these. if you don't want your teenagers to feel like actual garbage constantly, i'd suggest simply having a relationship where you talk about things so that they don't have to try to hide their whole life from you, rather than getting an app that not only makes them feel like they are five years old, but also directly invades their privacy at all times. thanks for coming to my ted talk.
  • Bad

    By Klay.
  • Good app, but still not there especially for iPad

    By Jumpin Jola
Qustodio is an effective tool for monitoring and internet time and games that are accessed. It’s real strength is on Windows as you can hide the program and limit specific programs. Hopefully Qustodio will prioritize engineering efforts for iOS as most kids are using Apple devices for recreation.

I don’t like this app I does not give you any warning when it’s about to end it locks me out I don’t like this app
  • Slow performance but still monitors

    By jfollower
This app is good at monitoring your phone. However, there are some major drawbacks. It’s slows your phone down a ton. Some apps don’t work well through the VPN. It does what it says it’ll do which is monitor but you feel like you are giving up a well-run iphone 10 4GLTE for a 3G iPhone 4.
  • Amazing app for responsible parents

    By Novativeapps
I want to say Qustodio is a gift from God for those parents who care enough for their children to preserve them and teach them to keep their hearts and minds pure. This app has allowed me to give my child the gift of a smart phone whereas without such app I would not have been able to do so. My son is full of joy and happiness as he lives in a home with loving, caring parents who both spend lots of time and attention with him. He accepts our rules of what is good and wholesome and what he can partake of and enjoy while not sacrificing his morals. The Internet is full of content that wants to teach him otherwise and spoil his purity and happiness. This app is fully configurable so we are able to cater it to our needs to ensure he is preserved from the garbage that is readily available to children of irresponsible parents who do not care enough for their children to take an interest in their lives enough to keep them away from that which will damage them.
  • Disappointed

    By Mans529
I was completely ready to pay for the premium subscription, but so glad I tried the free version first. Many of the app’s features are only available if you have an Android. Maybe I missed it, but I didn’t see that noted anywhere in the app description. It’s still ok since you can monitor the websites your kid goes to and you can set time limits on their daily screen time. Wish it was compatible with Apple devices so I could use all the features.
  • Great, helps relieve my worries.

    By MitzieGirl
I decided to start monitoring my son’s activity when I found out that someone latched onto him. Telling him very inappropriate things and making life promises. I had to stop it.
  • The Most annoying piece of shoes ever

    By Teddercheese
    I can’t even explain how mad I am. Here’s what I can’t do: Play 17+ games when I’m 17 Can’t text after 7 Can’t do anything after 8:30
  • Email notifications and google search terms are great

    By 8574092570912687
I get an email every time a page is blocked so I know exactly when we may have a problem. I can also see the terms being googled so I know what my kids are searching for.
  • This App Is Terrible

    By Review_Master83660
This app made my phone unisable and I hate it
  • Terrible service and inconsistent operation

    By unhappy30303
It is sad that this is the best product on the market, I’ve had problems tracking things that I had to re-set on all the other devices.
  • Safety come first always

    By LucyEua
It’s not about trust. It’s about if your child has learned what you parent had taught safety comes first always. Child has parents for a reason, they don’t know how to live without guidance. One day we pray and we hope the will put in practice everything you’ve taught
  • Works well.

    By raising4arrows
I’ve had this program for awhile now and although not perfect it works for what we wanted. I wish it could monitor facebook on iOS but that’s only an android feature right now. My son has an iPhone 8 and had no issues with the VPN draining the battery. We like the usage controls that blocks the apps and internet but still allows texts and phone calls to be made. My only real complaint is that the VPN will pick up on websites from ads that are in some apps and it’ll come up as a weird or blocked website. It also doesn’t pick up some apps my son uses which means it doesn’t tell me how much time he’s actually spending on it. No app is perfect and this one is nice because it not only can be on our phones but also kindle tablets and computers. Hopefully over time the developers can perfect it.
  • Love its simplicity

    By Skippiarmstr
Simple to use, the user interface makes everything is straightforward and accessible. Love the feature that I'm able to get daily reports and keep track of my kids timely
  • Nice app

    By thomiseal
Indeed helpful and it does its job well. Some contents are not free and ask for upgrading to premium plan but i think it's worthy, especially if you care about your kids and you don't want them having any false perceptions since they were a child
  • Your kids would be secured

    By smokezillas
Love the way it works. This is my stress-reliever and even my time-saver. No need to keep my eyes on watching what my kids are seeing on the internet anymore. Thank you so much
  • Reasonable price

    By Berckefeldt
Good and very worth upgrading if you are running into troubles with your kids. It impressed me with many great features that other parental control apps don't have
  • Powerful and easy to use

    By Rush7112
Smart, reliable and very trustworthy to help my kids stay away from troubles, false perceptions with a minimal fee if compared to its competitors
  • Highly recommend it

    By lisamach3
It's way better than other Parental Control apps. Most inappropriate websites are blocked and very less than a dozen websites are not in their blacklists but do not worry, the app would be updated regularly
  • Quite easy to use

    By sandylovill11
If you are looking for a way to help your kids get rid of inappropriate websites but you don't want to interfere to their freedom. Qustodio is my recommendation
  • Incredible

    By jwill1975
The app exceeds my expectation. Never get trouble with laggy issues, bugs and other unexpected crashes. It runs smooth and stable on my phone
