    M 1st. not enough tv series choices. Very limited 2nd . To find a movie takes forever and they don’t provide all the choices you can watch. I seriously had to google search movies on showtime. Just to show me movie that you have to type in to see..!!! How does that make sense !

    This app is a fraudulent misleading platform I have subscribed to a 30 days free trial on September 23 2019 they charged my card on October 14 2019 and now my account is frozen can’t download load any update for they misleading fausse advertising I would like to be contacted by support team to rectify this matter totally horrible will never refer anyone to showtime.

    Not sure if I'm the only person to experience this but this app freezes when you open it. I can't get past the "Showtime" logo at the beginning without it freezing . Updating the app has not fixed the issue. Considering this is a paid service this is simply unacceptable.

    I’ve had this app for a couple of years but unfortunately, it no longer recognizes my chrome cast. Due to this and the lack of “knock it out of the ballpark” content, I will most likely cancel this subscription. Not really worth spending $15? A month simply to watch shameless.

    Literally just downloaded and signed up. Right after I create an account, it times out and then crashes. Can’t open it without it crashing. This is a stupid excuse for an app and I can’t believe Spotify and Hulu bundled with it. There is this bundle where college students can get Hulu, Spotify, and showtime together for cheap, and I already have my Spotify and Hulu activated. That’s the only reason I downloaded it in the first place. Showtime hasn’t even hinted about a place yet where I could activate that.

    I’ve subscribed to Showtime in the past to watch a few shows and then leave. I like some of the series, “The Loudest Voice” was good and I’m looking forward to starting the Kirsten Dunst series. Some of the documentaries are interesting but you need a better movie selection. “City on a Hill” is probably a good series but I couldn’t get past the profanity and racial slurs and stopped watching in the first 5 minutes of episode 1, I don’t know why it isn’t possible to tell a story without every other word being a curse word. Cops probably do speak like that in Boston, but to me it was excessive. The Roku app is a little confusing, especially the fast forward and rewind, and I’d like to see some “for you” recommendations similar to what the other streaming apps use. The live TV feed is a nice feature. However, I have trouble justifying the $11 a month membership over time because the selection is too limited. The streaming quality is good, and I’ve never experienced any buffering or technical problems.

    Every time I use this app on my television, I have to log in. It’s pretty annoying that I could be watching something and I’ll hit pause or rewind and it kicks me off and I have to sign in again. Literally, every single time.

    Showtime has lots of great selection however this app has to be as non user friendly as possible. no “continue watching” or “skip intro” feature. it doesn’t even show you the episodes you’ve watched of a show when scrolling through the thumbnail screen. if you like having to spend 5 minutes waiting for the app to get past the initial opening screen, search for the show you want bc it definetly will not have it there to be easily accessed like any other media app, then this is the app for you.

    Just got the app with my Spotify student bundle and when I click on the app it’s nothing but a blank black screen. I waited a few minutes to see if it was just loading but nothing happened. I’ve also re-downloaded the app and still nothing. Can’t really rate what I can’t use.

    When I miss a line, I don’t wish to go back a half a minute and sit through thirty seconds, to finally get to the line I missed. The app needs a back 'button' that is not thirty seconds, and a forward one as well — like other, more intuitive apps. Love the programming, though.

    Not sure how this app has high ratings? All the reviews I’ve read are terrible just like my experience! For how much showtime charges + expects to get paid their App is absolute crap! It doesn’t keep track of what you’ve watched, doesn’t show you on the main screen. Can’t see which episode you’re watching while watching it! No clue which one you watched last. No 10 second fast forward + rewind (only 30 rewind). Come on Showtime. You have to pull yourself out of the dark ages if you expect to compete!

    En mi iPad funciona perfectamente. Traté de instalar la aplicación para poder disfrutar la programación en mi Galaxy Note8 y lamentablemente ni siquiera me permite entrar a la cuenta. Resuelvan esto por favor lo antes posible ( indiqué la situación en la Playstore) y con gusto le doy 5 estrellas en ambas tiendas.

    The only rewind option is an entire 30 seconds, and there is no fast forward button; unless you use time shift bar. But what really did it for me is each time I am download for offline viewing, the content inexplicably dissapears. In less than 24 hours, gone.

    I have the larger Apple 4K TV device and it takes me multiple tries to get what I want to watch to play after the commercials which play fine. I like the content but the aggravation and trying to get it to work is pushing me towards canceling the subscription.

    I was very excited to get showtime as I love so many of their shows, but the app has been a major let down. Offline playback is nearly impossible. The app crashes after less than 10 minutes of playback, every time. About 50% of the time the player won’t rotate. I’m shocked this app has such a high rating with such a bad video player. As a new user I’ve found the design confusing. It took me a week to find where my currently watching shows are. Why aren’t they on the front page of the app? Why isn’t there a “pick up where you left off” on the series page? Two stars only because playback when connected to WiFi works okay.

    I’ve had the worst time unsubscribing from this app. You have to confirm the subscription in order to unsubscribe. That can send you through a mess of circuitous mixed messages that then keeps your subscription active. How hard can it be to simply allow you to get out of a subscription you no longer need or want?!?!?

    I started video streaming on Amazon prime video. I watched the Suits season. I then moved on to watch Billions on Showtime. The switch to showtime video player has been awful. I downloaded season and if i pause and re-open the episode sometimes starts from the beginning or doesn’t remember where I left off. Improve the video player, Showtime. You have to do better than this.

    Signed up using Apple TV. Received the “7 day free trail” now it will not allow me to log in and use, Even after paying for a monthly subscription. Says no known email. Gave up after 45 minutes and yes get charged me $10.99.

    This is like a bad joke. You need to download the app in AppStore to activate for any platform from an Apple device. The privacy agreement states that you’re sharing all sorts of info from your devices that have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with showtime. The response from showtime to people bringing this up in reviews is “please contact us so we can improve your experience”. Wild. I pay to have showtime, why do you need to make money selling my data?

    There is no - continue where you left off or recently viewed. Within a series you can not skip recap or skip intro of episodes. . When you watch an episode no have no idea which ones you’ve seen unless you remember the episode or read the recap. It’s really only good for streaming. None of the functionalities of other streaming apps seem to be included in this app.
